I think the the Sam & Ana story was just filler for that episode, but I think they wanted to underscore Rick's innocence before he became Murder Rick. He invites them back to live with them, while Carol understands that they are likely more of a hinderance and sends them to their death. That's why Sam is at Terminus: Rick was naïve to believe that there are friendly groups who will take in anyone at that stage of the apocalypse, and he fell for the same trap someone as inexperienced and as Sam fell for. TWD was in it's prime and had the best writing on TV at this point.
Fantastic interpretation
the end makes no sense but she dies soon after and how is another question but after Rick tells darel who is worried about carol who points to the reality that its normal. Not the trail thing but we all go all the time for no good reason
Tbh old fear was so good and when there eyes were bleeding it remind me of 28 days later.
Ericksons fear is probably my favourite bit of the walking dead universe content there is. Especially season 3
@@Swell-Films I can agree on that but I didn’t like how Morgan and Dwight came on the show it ruin it tbh.
Sam and Ana’s story always makes me so sad
Honestly I bet ceila would've loved the whispers with her kind of mindset
I think lizzie would've fit right in with the whispers imo
How creepy would it have been if Carol actually failed to kill Lizzie, not realizing she hadn’t fully shot her in the head, and Lizzie survives, later meeting the Whisperers
@tigerdragonmartialarts2172 alpha would've favored lizzie over her own daughter (sorry I forgot her name)
@@blackmetalnazgul4519 oh yeah. Both dealt with extreme mental issues from the fall of civilization, their relationship would’ve been interesting
100%. Lizzie could’ve fit gammas role so well
For Sam and Ana the only explanation that makes sense is that since neither were strong survivors they probably made the mistake of not taking the safety off their guns and thus didn’t fire a shot
Yaay you covered sam and ana at terminus ❤! By far, after Glenn and Abe, the worst death for me in the series to view. The group hung over vats, was so visceral, heartless, shocking to even see on tv at the time. I guess if i had to have a theory (they leave alot of questions) i would guess that theres only two options: not enough people were being lured to Terminus or near it, not enough people to feed on, so they sent out groups to kidnap people similar to how they treated Bob. Maybe they cut her leg off, determined that shes "tainted meat" cause she has a bad leg, and let her die and snatched Sam. Or, because they couldnt use guns, they ran out of bullets, she got bit, he cut off her leg and her screaming attracted the hoard. He walked aimlessly and ended up at Terminus h
The thought of terminus having scouts had crossed my mind aswell. The whole scene is just so bizarre, I can not fathom why Sam would amputate but not fire a shot for help
@@Swell-FilmsConsidering their innocence with guns I really don't even know if Sam would have the foresight to cut off her leg. They probably don't know that amputation even works for bites, I mean they could guess but I doubt Sam could clean cut a leg off but the Terminus folks knew how to, the way it seemed so desolate after, with no answers, makes me think Sam was kidnapped and maybe they tortured Ana to find out if they have a group (cause of the two guns they have and their inability to shoot may have made them think they were the weaker members of a bigger group and Terminus is paranoid about that tii) similar to how Gareth was planning on taking eyes with the gang, and didn't want her for the messed up leg after or she just bled out and died and then they kidnapped Sam . It definitely wasn't the first time they cut limbs off for sadistic torture when they cannibalised Bob. It seemed ritualistic and done before, even though they had a vendetta
Honestly, one of the most haunting scenes that I always remember is the Crow scene from Fear the Walking Dead. That man reciting a poem while a crow eats is brain is terrifying as shit.
very real too because you can survive with massive brain trama
I wish tales covered more stuff like this instead of random shit
Carol intended for something bad to happen to Sam and Ana, they were a liability, people who didn't know how to survive at that point, and also one who was permanently slow and another with a serious injury. I don't think Sam would have had it in him to sever Ana's leg if she got bitten like Hershel, to be honest I chalk that up to an issue with the writing/props. Seeing Ana dead Sam panicked and ran. Carol got what she wanted.
I really enjoyed you telling some stories on Fear’s side! I found the Wedding one the most disturbing because it was supposed to be their happy day but ended horribly. The early seasons of fear were the best. Also it’s sad what happened to Ana and Sam as well
Dave Ericksons fear is some of my favourite twd content of all time, any chance I can to talk about it I take it haha. Thanks for watching mate!
Sam is a cursed name in TWD
Makes you wonder, how many of the background walkers we see in the shows used to be named Sam 😂😂
Fear The Walking Dead was top tear in the early days (in terms of story telling (See what i did there ;D ))
Sam and Ana was just a sad story. As fervent as Celia was, I think she would've come around eventually, most likely after a huge attack. The one thing that annoys me about the hotel is how fast Ilene's husband turned. Yes, in TS-19, Jenner said 3 minutes to 8 hours... but it just seemed way to convenient to have him turn so quickly... there are so many backstories that could be done, it would keep TWD fresh for years to come, going into details of older events. TWD fans really want and would enjoy this. No long drawn out multi-episode sagas, just a one n done of where they started and how they got to where they ended. The diner patrons where Michonne got her cat and Carl his pic. Did Grady survive or fall? How did our original group come to be? What was Wayne Dunlap's back story? The one episode that has always struck me is The Same Boat. It, to me, was showing how Maggie and Carol could've been Paula and Michelle except for a twist of fate that led them to different groups. Paula was one of the very few Saviors I wish could've been rehabilitated.
I always felt bad for Ana and sam
Same here. They seemed like a throwback to the normal and nice people of a pre apocalypse world to other hardened survivors. You get a few "Anna and Sam" types inside communities but it's rare that they survive long outside a community.
It's one of the things that made TWD a really good show.
Our group were lucky going to the CDC so early and discovering what they were facing. We were never told how Michonne figured out how to survive and stop walkers on her own. I have my own ideas but they're just guesses and theories. If anyone have any 'REAL' ideas on that, please share.
I can't speak for Michonne, but I think the real scary answer for why a lot of people are alive is just...luck. They went up against walkers without any prior knowledge, learned through sheer trial and error, all without being bitten or killed in the process. That's a luxury that most everyone else who is dead were never spared.
The Orange backpack guy please
Right
Just recently found the channel and pretty much just got done binge watching the videos glad to see another upload
One of my favorite series on this channel
Cover the story of the family on the island in season 2 of fear i tought it was an interesting side plot
Great suggestion
I see early Fear and I clicked on the video, the show was so much more interesting back then compared to what came after
that severed leg could have been from the termites since they cut off bobs leg to eat
Great video. I love how you chose a story from a different franchise.
I think a good story to cover in this series would be the story Douglas told it to Rick in the comics when he arrived at Alexandria about a father going crazy and eating their son's eyes
Yea that is one hell of a dark story. If I ever do one of these videos for the comics I’ll definitely include that one
Ive been really enjoying these hope you do more love these as an background vid thanks
Letsss gooo, I love these sm. I’ve never seen this kinda content before but it’s something I’ve always thought about I love all the little stories in Twd
What i want to know is how did ana's leg get cleanly severed and then she ended up 50 feet away?
It is a bizarre scene. I’d say she tried to crawl away but there’s no blood trail so who knows.
I recently came across your UA-cam channel and I enjoyed the twd videos so much I binged all of your twd videos in our day. I love the way you tell the stories and especially these type of stories from the series.
Hey thanks so much! Appreciate you watching!
You deserve so many more subs I love your videos man. Genuinely get excited when I see you posted something new keep them coming bro!
Hey thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying!
I'm glad I clicked the bell button after I subbed 😂 Thanks for the video, Ty! Looking forward for new ones (I almost finish the whole.lot in less than 48 hours 🤫)
Wow I appreciate the dedication!
another set of great stories!
You are doing a tremendous job with this series. Wish Tales of the Walking Dead did it. I suggest you write original stories that happened in the deadverse. It would be amazing.
Hey thanks so much mate! I might consider it in the future!
Incredible video again! Have you covered the crazed man who escaped from a container in terminus after Glenn released him? That was very freaky
L💟VE these, keep 'em coming!!
🙌💎🔥🏕️🧟♀️
Cool stuff. Maybe no walkers were involved but maybe a little backstory on the car case we see in the beginning of the show? Or some backstory on the Wolves.
Thanks for these great vids
Love the videos. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much!
perhaps ana was bit somewhere in her mid leg (maybe knee, or the back of it) and sam was able to carry her a ways away from where she was bit so he could amputate her leg. considering they were genuine people, they possibly weren't mentally capable of killing another 'human', which is why they didnt shoot. eventually, the walkers could have reached them and ana convinced sam to run off and possibly try and find rick and carol.
i need more of these like i love these
Subscribed amazing story telling 💯
Thank you so much!
Great video! You should include what happend to Noah's community in the time he got captured by dawn.
Thanks so much for covering these I appreciate can you cover another one from season 4
(It’s my favorite season with 5)
Absolutely, I think the terminus backstory would be a good one to include
@@Swell-Films YESSS PLEASE
@@Swell-Films AND DO IT ON THE CANIBLES AT THE SAME TIMEEE
Man the 1st & 2nd seasons of Fear was criminally underrated I forgot how AWESOME that hotel arc was. Beginning to end that was a GREAT season!
I forget how good Fear used to be
The ana and sam mini store needed a explanation maybe had sam talk to rickabout what happened before he eventually got killed off or had him have a flash back to a regret or something
They definitely needed something. It’s just so bizarre sam would amputate and run without ever firing a shot for help
Great video
Thank you!
A couple stories that stuck with me that have common themes:
In Cold Storage when the apocalypse happened a man kills his male coworkers and keeps his female coworker locked up and tied up in a bedroom for his sick enjoyment
And when Randall witnessed his group forced a man to watch as they SA his daughters and then they just left the man and his daughters.
Both events happened right at the beginning/early in the apocalypse, showing that not everyone needs long to show their true twisted selves
Hey can you talk about how the hotel Failed in FTWD in Season 3 Victor and Daniel went to the hotel to find Daniel's Daughter in the hotel but it Mysteriously got overrun by the dead
I think that could make for a good mystery video at some point!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Their is no good answer with Sam and Ana which is why I like it so much
It’s seriously such a bizarre scene. How did she get to the other side of the road without a blood trail? How did Sam know to amputate if they’ve been on their own?
So many questions form such a short scene
@@Swell-Films thank you for getting around to it
A minute ago is crazy
Please by all means continue this series.
Ana's actress works mainly as an anime dubbing actress for what is now Crunchyroll.
Tales of the Walking Dead would be fantastic for introducing one-shot stories. It would give the writers the chance to introduce new characters for possible later development and fill in portions of the greater epic story.
There are billions of people on the Earth. Every one is a possible story that could be told. Characters that prove popular could be developed into six-episode serials.
The fans critical of that series ruined their own chances to have dozens of years worth of new shows.
Sam and ana broke my heart
Fear had such good stories!! Man, I hate that the show ended at season 3.
the wedding party had to deal with one walker and one infected in our universe we know what zombies are and we would put the zombie down and quarantine the infected to see if bites kill bcuz its been explained the bites kill from infection since the corpses are so rotted and bacteria covered
I would love to see something on the WOLVES. they dont get enough love.
real all sam and ana needed to do was to watch skibidi toilet
I think Sam and Ana were attacked by people
Sadly when they return to the hotel its been over run.
You should do a video about the military camp at season 7 episode 12 "Say Yes". I know there are other military camps and bases you can talk about, but I believe this one has the most interesting story behind it.
You have a bunch of military zombies, still holding their LOADED guns
There is still food and water located there
There is a field of dead bodies (not zombies actual dead bodies) filled with both military and civilians, still holding their guns (both military guns and civilian guns)
There are zombies who have been handcuffed
There is a zombie soldier who has been hit by a car
With all of this you already know they didn't die from zombies or lack of supplies.
I’ve actually been looking to do that one next, but the scene is so bizarre when you break it down, it’s hard to figure out what exactly happened.
I’ll definitely be exploring that topic but I want to make sure it’s done right
wtf i had no idea i wasnt subbed
(fixed it tho so we good :3 )
Hey thanks so much!
can you please do the tank zombie that rick killed while he was trapped in the tank.
Some stories I just can’t piece together like how Ana got her leg cut off and how she ended up all they way across the road with no blood marks
Yeah that scene has always been so bizarre
Being this early is a crime
I still cant believe that they killed Eminem
I don't feel like somebody who doesn't know how to use a gun or have any form of survival skills knows how to follow a map
yo
Hello!
@@Swell-Films what's up?
