I just bought my 5 th Mazda with same engine 2.2 mzd-cd manual , the first 3 Mazda 6 all up I passed 1 million km never missed a bit , then I had Mazda 3 same engine I’ve done only 50.000 km I sold it to buy 2009 Mazda 6 wagon diesel manual with only 30.000 km very happy
I agree with above comment you need to look after and maintain them I’m the owner of a 2010 2.2 185 SL wagon. It has 210k miles on it with absolutely no issues except maintenance. Change oil every 5k DMF and clutch costs as much as the cars worth though 😊. London ULEZ unfortunately forces me to part with it in new year .
The worst problem for these Mazda 6's is the 2009- 2010 are nearly impossible to find most parts. Even the aftermarket hardly exists. Unless you get a really good deal and just need a car to drive around I would get something else.
@@timothyandrews5975 unfortunately yes. You can find basic things for them like spark plugs and sensors. But look up what a set of used headlights cost for them. And you can't find aftermarket ones they don't exist. I can't even get a flasher relay they don't make them anymore and no aftermarket.
@@timothyandrews5975 get a honda accord or toyota camry instead. The Mazda 6 tries to compete with those. I've had two civics and an accord and they were great cars. Even when they had problems they just kept driving and wouldn't break.

Thanks for the tip. The Mazda was a 2010 petrol manual 2.5 (top spec) with 94,500 miles. The guy was asking £2,450
