8:18 "Musician?"
"I mean, with 9 answers, you only need like 2 people to say it"
"That's true. Who the fuck would say musician though?"
"I don't know, those 2 people."
pure prophetic moment xD
Prophet Danny strikes, again 😎
Dan "Dan Avidan" Avidan truly is a born prophet.
I swear Dan just manifests good things into his life purely to piss off arin in the most infuriating way possible. 😂
I'm still currently watching the episode but soon as I heard this segment I went straight to the comment section and low and behold top comment hahaha it's just perfect comedic timing 😂
1:28
Arin: "Think music: ON"
Dan: "Yup"
Banjo Player: "MY TIME TO SHINE"
They get 9 minutes in and start complaining like yeah this is super annoying and loud now
You're very generous to call that a banjo
@@crashawasherei feel like they're mostly joking about the banjo...but I mean it does sound...WELL let's just say it's not an earworm type of tune XD
im gonna feud!
Imma... Imma fuckin feud!
Barack Obama: “I’m gonna fuckin’ feud.” 😎🇺🇸🦅
"Where do you want me to feud?"
Man those guys....Derrick and Alfred
Oh great, you just fueded all over the family. Hope your happy.
This game is one year older than "Kiss from a Rose" by Seal
Lmao
How many years is it older than the version by actual seals, though?
"Rush didn't release an album that year" *Sad Dan*
I will now be measuring time of all events based on it’s distance from the release of Kiss from a Rose by Seal
It was released a year before I was.
They just added another layer of difficulty by having to think answers that made sense in the 90s and that's amazing
Also in the first half where arin gets EVERYTHING wrong is hilarious lol
And Dan got everything right. I loved it 😄
Arin never thinks of what the average person would say and just says something practical or personal
Flashbacks of "CD PLAYER" XD
@@apollolux premium reference
That’s not fair. Dan was 20 and Arin wasn’t even alive in the 90s
"Scrotus" is what I call our Supreme Court because they're nuts
I've had crunchwraps more supreme than that court
Based facts af
Aww, you poor thing
Got em
Scrotus-- Supreme Court R...eallydumbpeople Of The US 😅
"Where do little kids hate to go?"
"Hell!"
Jesus Christ, Dan
But is he wrong tho?!
He’s not wrong though 😂
Yes, Jesus Christ. He will save the children from the place they hate to go!
I think you mean Lucifer
@@KuchhhI thought because of orginal sin all, children would be sent to hell/purgatory before being judged if they would be allowed into heaven or sent back down.
Begins with Dan speaking the forbidden tongue
Dan's "ralph's" are truly something to be feared now lol
I’m pretty sure that was the Infernal language lol
Pretty sure Sean Connery rose in Africa.
It went so well with the SEGA Family Feud music and the spinning logo.
Oh. . . I thought you meant My Immortal 😂
Arin confusing Steve Harvey with Steve Martin has me rolling. 😂
It’s probably because of the think music 🪕🎶
That banjo will haunt my dreams
I'm from the Appalachian Mountains and I'm sure this banjo music will haunt my dreams too.
FR
🪕🪕🪕🪕🪕🪕🪕🪕🪕🪕
The amount of hills Arin dies on in Family Feud based on his experiences and his alone is astounding
I resonate with him on less than I would assume but every once in a while he makes sense 😂
My favorite Steve Harvey moment is "YES. KILL!!!!"
Grumps going on a game show run is always a blessing
as someone that literally works with school supplies orders 5 days a week, i can confirm, chalk is more often bought than books (and it's dusty as hell and hard to carry in large quantities, so that's fun)
you still have chalkboards??? :O
chalk still popular in 2024? explain!
@@roeroethaboat apparently at least someone out there does, bc people keep ordering the chalk for it lol (not to mention that sidewalk chalk is also a very popular item); still, dry erase markers are ordered far more than both combined so that's definitely the norm nowadays, but i'm sure they're out there if you look
@@gemstar5242 amazing! I grew up with a chalkboard in classrooms and loved it, could always make out the notes on the board, they changed to white boards when I was in high school and that was quite an adjustment for my poor lil eyes haha
I'm 43 and my niece is a teacher in Florida. She says both schools she worked in no longer have chalkboards, so that's surprising. I figured they were being phased out everywhere.
WOODJAH?
Wouldjeh??
"I also marked a couple of IHOPs along the way...that's the International House of Pancakes..."
“Well, Obviously!” @9:05
😂
“Business.” Well that’s fucking vague.

barbershop is significantly male-dominated and only somewhat recently started embracing female groups. soprano is a female voice part - though countertenors can reach into the mezzo range - so it isn't used in barbershop sheet music. instead, all groups, regardless of gender, are split into the original divisions of tenor, lead, baritone, and bass.
my best friend is in barbershop, we're both in the mezzo/alto range, so we'd both primarily take the lead part. this would typically translate to second soprano, for female-only groups, or alto, for mixed groups.
EDIT: clarification. the lead always has the melody, while second sopranos and altos in choral & vocal jazz arrangements typically have harmony. so it's not an exact translation, musically speaking. i meant in terms of where the notes fall on a piano. thanks for coming to my ted talk. 👍
Don’t you also have to be able to harmonize perfectly?
Like everyone should be able to hit the same vocal range right?
@@mega_bird700 vocal range refers to the specific pitch being sung, not the notes. Two people could both be singing the same note but different pitches and they would be harmonizing.
@@bubbasgotback431 oh okay gotcha
Tiny correction from a barbershop singer. Leads often have the melody, not always. It depends on the song and arrangement. Having sung both baritone and bass lines, it was always fun when we’d have the melody.
Also, this was the 90s, they were definitely talking about male barbershop quartets.
I liked the part when Arin types in 'C D Player' and it shows up as 'Model Car'.
Something about the way this one is coded does that - it detects the C A and R and ignores the rest. It’s also why Arin famously put “penis and scrotums” and got “pens”.
@@Electricdude97Yeah, I think an alternate name the game accepted for model car was “R C Car” which it interpreted as correct from the C in “C D Player”

Feud for Thought
I hate that I laughed at that
I just can't believe Arin predicted the name of Scrotus from Furiosa.
He's from the Mad Max game that came out in 2015, but Arin probably still did it on accident
I assumed it was Scrotus from Korgoth of Barbaria
I just keep thinking of Grodus from paper Mario lol
I can't wait for the return of MPreg family
One of my favorite GG moments is Ethan spending several minutes customizing his character only to have "M PREG" silently pop up on the screen afterwards
"Name an occupation whose people have big egos."
Dan: "Game show host!"
Richard Dawson did indeed have a massive ego. Not necessarily with contestants, but with the staff.
Aww. :(
24:05 "The Spanking Chamber" isn't somewhere I'd want to be when I was a child. But now as an adult.....
Arin being a Florida boy would absolutely say A/C is a necessity 😂
They're in southern California - before AC that place was *nothing* and now it's the highest population county in the country.
@@doomsdayrabbit4398 I believe Florida was the same way in some instance. It's population continues to go up with tons of older people moving here
"name an occupation whose people have big egos"
WHY DID I THINK OF POLICE?
I think I thought of teacher just from personal experience. Several answers I think relate to how valued you are contributing to society, almost like you are handed the power each day with lives in your hands to "fight for good" and think you're more important than you are. Not exactly humbling.
Love how Arins laugh changes gear when what Dan said fully hit him 20:42
I don't know why, but these older games are so much more fun to watch. They are shitty in a charming retro way, the new switch ones are just plain shitty.
Yeah, there's a lot of charm and personality to these old games. The Switch game show games are all very generic.
If SLHUMP isn't the next Link I'm gonna riot.
Especially since he was Slurmp in one game!
Slurmp, Shlump and Spiarmf. What a trio.
I actually think Arin said chalk to this question on a different fued and got it wrong also and has the same arguement 😂
Remember folks, Family Feud isn't about guessing what's the correct answer, it's about figuring out what 100 random people in the street *think* is the right answer!
That's why "books" worked instead of "chalk." People think school, they think textbooks. I bet the top answer for that one is actually "pencils," since that's one of the first things a person will think of with "school" and "buy." Despite it being parents (and teachers) that buy the pencils, not the school.
If Arin & Dan ever got to go on the actual Family Feud show, it’d be amazing 🤩
I am super sad that the Phoenix Wright series is finished ( for now) but I'm super excited to see Family Feud today!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Do you know what long series they're doing next?
@@sleepyotethey mentioned doing a break from visual novels before starting Danganronpa 3, I don't think they've announced what it'll be, though.
@@blakewhite3131They might do something short but semi-recent. Like Princess Peach Showtime.

That banjo solo will haunt me in my sleep
I like how this's literally just the SNES version, but more bit-crushed XD classic 90's SEGA
i will never get tired of game show episodes
I hope they notice the returning champion code is SLHVMP not SLHUMP
The goofy banjo music on this version and the snes version used to crack me and my little brother up when we played 😂
14:14 No way Arin did a Homer noise then immediately thought of donuts
barbershop quartets have four parts usually, tenor, bass, baritone and lead. my mom is a sweet adeline so this shit is engrained in my brain.
With "Cycling" and "Barbers", Arin was robbed. ROBBED I SAY.
The frantic tapping of the Fast Money round has me in shambles 🤣
Penurs the horse is here
My best memory of this game was the TAS where so many random answers were given and they were all correct. The best part though was cutting to the other family and they have that look as if they are moments away from attacking everyone in the studio.
I'm going to hear the thinking music from this when I go to sleep
god the banjo music is so good
I can hear the sneer in this like "oh my--it's just.. Yeah it's so good!" 😬😁😬 trying so hard to smile
"Arin's house" got me good xD
I tried real hard not to say "White van!"
FBI OPEN UP!
@@NWolfssonfor me it was "Neverland Ranch!"
Soprano is a female singing register, and since a barbershop quartet is comprised of men, that won't work.
So I assume the others except tenor are bass, baritone and... idk the fourth one
The fourth is Lead, which is usually also a tenor voice lol. Could be an alto
Even when women sing barbershop we still use the Tenor/Lead/Baritone/Bass voice parts 🙂
As someone who comes from a country where MOST barbershop groups are comprised of women or a mix of both men and women, this a really weird thing for me to read. Women's groups use the same terminology for their parts as the men's groups do. It's named more for the part of the chord you are singing, rather then the vocal range of the singer. Songs written for male groups would have to be transposed up for womens' groups
PLEASE let Slhump be the next name for Link in a playthrough

In all honesty...
Steve Martin would be a kick ass host.

Holy shit I said "The Mines" at the exact same time as Dan at 23:34 great minds think alike I suppose
Great "mines," if you will
Great mines think alike.
Ah yes, my favorite Family Feud host, Steve Martin lol
Not sure how many teachers Arin has met. But in my experience they all have hyper-inflated "I'm right you're wrong" mentalities. Especially the 'higher' education ones.
13:16 I guess you could say,,,, you can't believe it's not butter.
Almost no school in the US uses chalkboards. Those were quietly discontinued after some studies found that chalk dust was a source of health issues in classrooms.
This game is from the early 90's
