Since you have the new very nice Spartan, can I have the Hinderer? J/k, that's a good looking design. Spartan did a great job turning that into reality.
I recently picked up the same knife only in s45vn. Very cool knife. It came with a final bevel of about 23 dps. I don't think it's ever going to be a laser, but I did re-profile it to 21 dps. That made it slicier without making the bevel too wide. I love your content! Just try to keep it in the field of view.
Appreciate you watching and thank you. Yeah, lightning recently fried my uplift desk controller so I cannot adjust my desk height. I hope to get that fixed at some point.
Love my Harsey both the 4” and 3.25” I’ve seen some people actually front flip them which is insane! Just waiting for Lynch clips to make an aftermarket clip for it because thats the only thing I wanna change about the Spartan blade is the clip. Rumors are they will have a clip for Harsey’s soon tho!!
I can't look this is My grail knife. Spartan Harsey. It's just so beautiful I have to look away. That's a knife that hits me hard. You know the one that screams I am made for you.
The Harsey has 2 different size washers. The show side with the lg. pivot has an oversized washer and the other side is a normal sized washer. It is definitely different. The HRC is 62.
Yes, I have a whole tuning and polishing video coming. I have too much other content to drop it all at once. FYI… Spartan Blades say the HRC on the plain Ti is 61-63. I feel mine from the amount stropping to get insane sharp is likely 62… maybe 63.
Well, when I took it apart, they seemed like PB washers, especially after polishing them. Where did you get this info because I could not find it on their site or any published listings. Copper would be an interesting choice and I’d be curious what was their thinking behind that due to different metal properties between the 2.
That’s your choice. You buy what want, as I always say buy what you love and love what you bought. CRK uses a ceramic and no steel bar insert either. I have no lock stick issues just like my McNees, TRM, and other customs do not have them. If it’s done well, it works.
@@Robs_Nerdy_Knives yea but its not about lock stick, its about - whats in 10 years of daily use? U rubb the Titanium off and the Knife is not more lockable Useable. And a ceramic ball or steel insert is longer lasting, and for that price i like use and keep my knife very long!
I have been wanting the Spartan Harsey 4" folder for some time now, especially the Plague Doctor variant.
What a nice looking knife Rob ! 😊
I can see the appeal of special designs. I wanted a simple plain Ti one. I love that there are choices.
Thanks Rob, just picked one up from DLT. Looking forward to it
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. 👍🤜💥🤛

Um, sorry. I’m not giving up either. LOL. 🤔😉😆😂🤓
Thanks for showing
You bet! Thank you for watching! 🫶
Thanks Rob for your information 👍

Sir, what do you think of the lockbar mechanism? Does it lock up securely? How far does the lockbar travel when you open it gently/flick it?
This is so solid and a great knife. Locks up solid however you deploy it.
Awesome pickup sir
Thanks! Yeah, it is do much better than I hoped. Really, really good.
Very nice by friend! Love that large pivot! Carry clip could be a little deeper, but a really good looking knife. Thanks for the review!
Thank you. I would love a deep carry pocket clip made by someone like Lynch clips.

I think you saw me do that on the livestream, maybe?

Rob the Spartan Harsey is on copper washers.

No Steel insert no ceramic ball on the Framelock, at this Pricepoint its an no-go. I rather go with Chris reeve Knives
