Yes, we could do almost all lookups with INDEX and MATCH, but most of the world still uses VLOOKUP the most, and so to prepare for job interviews and all, we must still teach it. PULL THAT CELL sounds just like INDEX.
ur enthu on ur voice only keeps me focused..Thank you for such a series.. @10:52- In your 2-Way Lookup on discount table example, how do you code that yellow, red, orange colors across the cells in the index&matching sheet
With PULL THAT CELL I meant that it would simply use text names for rows and columns to avoid bulky construction with MATCH for fairly simple data fetch. Or just making INDEX understand row/column text names in addition to numbers would do it probably. Thanks again.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! Wondering what's the point of VLOOKUP or DGET when you can simply use the one versatile INDEX+MATCH in all cases. Why have they not yet introduced a simple function like PULL THAT CELL(array, row_name, column_name)? Thanks for all great videos!

CONCATENATE does not join the multiple delivered values from INDEX. Or at least, I have no idea how to do it.
You are welcome!

I appreciate your effort
