HI 👋 U2. I told you so Greg on trimming those bushes 👍😉. Thanks for the update on the neighbors house 🏠 build. Going to be nice when done. Blessings 🙏🌺🌸🌼
I am a retired plasterer superintendent, from Seattle. My wife is from Siaton. We are older around your guys ages. 🤣🤣🤪🤪🤪 We have a house in Balugo Dumaguete and a home just past Siaton. To stop the cracks, do 2 coats and wet the walls down with water for 2-3 weeks after second coat. The walls dry to fast.
Greg and Wilma, you really have a healthy environment full of anti oxidant from the green trees around. The air you breath must be very fresh and clean.
I fractured my left heel in 2007 and I couldn't walk on it at all. A few weeks later had surgery, 2 plates and 11 titanium screws and around 6 weeks of not even putting pressure on it. Slow recovery process, still hurts if I am on it for long periods. Hope yours is not broken! Thanks for all the updates. We are heading to Samar next Sunday to spend 2 1/2 weeks with my wife's family and hopefully be able to look for some properties for a future move there.
If you wait too long to do an x ray, you could be doing more damage to your heel. What wouldve been a simple cast and pain medication might end up becoming full blown surgery.@@buildingthephilippines
Very nice update. That is going to be a big house. I have been going to ask, why are the houses so close together? With all of the land, why not some separation between the houses?
What do you think will be different between the metal in his wall and what you used to be in your wall? Do you anticipate his to rust and require frequent painting?
@@buildingthephilippinesI was referring to your front wall and how you replaced the metal with hollow blocks. I thought part of the reason was the need to repaint it so often. I was wondering about your neighbors use of the metal in the fence so they have a view.
@smellard63 oh OK, it's a personal choice. I have not found any type of paint that lasts. Metal fades quickly, starts to rust as well as stain the concrete below it. We decided to replace with concrete. More privacy and less maintenance.
With the limited sunlight over the past week, have you been getting enough solar to recharge your batteries and run your necessities during the day and batteries last the evenings?
Out of 6 days, the battery got to 100% 4 of 6 days. The other 2 days, we got to 82 and 86%. We simply turned on the generator once the sun goes down for less than an hour and that takes the battery to 100% easy peasey.
Hopefully it doesn’t smell. I’m not a plumber, but I’ve smelt some pretty pungent septics, so I’m a bit curious about having it close to the house entrance. I assume the waste is stored for collection when it’s full. Although I suppose they could have a leech field in their tree area next door.
Greg, it sounds like you bruised your heel bone. It will be tender for about 6 weeks, but it will heal. Plan for about 4-6 months until it is pretty much unnoticeable. Be careful and listen to Wilma.
Great tour. Thanks
Your welcome

We are certainly far enough from the national highway where all the pollution resides. Thanks for watching.
Nice
Thanks
That’s a big change since your last update. Sorry to hear about your heel hope you’re on the mend soon
They are moving along nicely. Definitely taking a long time to mend. Appreciate the concern.

Travel safe and enjoy your visit. Yes, hopefully heals soon. Quite painful.

Thank you for that information.
Sucks not being 20 anymore. Youth is wasted on the young! Great update. Missed you guys!
Ha ha, you're correct on that. Thanks for watching.
Very nice update. That is going to be a big house. I have been going to ask, why are the houses so close together? With all of the land, why not some separation between the houses?
The properties are only 25 meters wide.
You should know by now Greg, they’re always right (even if they’re not).😂
That is correct.
I just broke my hand/wrist. Getting old and working too hard and my body doesn’t take the abusive jarring it used to. Take care 😊
@foreignerescapestothephi-lj3ls Our mind says go and our bodies say otherwise. Take time to heal. Appreciate the comment.

Not sure what you mean? The rebar in the walls or the metal in the roof rafters?

That driveway entry looks really steep 😬
@@cnakaahiki Yes, it will be. I will video how they pour it.

That’s great. Sounds like you’ve sized your needs almost perfectly.
@smellard63 Yes, as close as possible. Definitely working for us.
Greetings. Please tell me who they chose to be the architect and contractor. I love the design.
@timothyrehfeldt5709 architect was Roy Ang Gobonseng from Dumaguete
A question about the septic in the carport.
Is there any problem with smell when it’s operating?
@@jrpjrpjrpjrp don't know, I don't think so.

Septics are sealed here.

I certainly hope so. Appreciate the information. Yes, Wilma is always right.
Yes you are getting older, better listen to Wilma more...lol Thanks for the update, Greg..Jim
She's always right, I keep forgetting that.
Noticed your SUV in your carport still has a "Yellow Sticker" on the right side?
It's called a conduction sticker. Proof car was legally brought into the Philippines. Used to track the vehicle, before it's actually registered.
@@buildingthephilippines Even though you have plates doesn't mean it is registered. How long is the registration period?

Always a problem getting the brain to catch up with the body😂 hope it gets better soon.
Just can't do what I was able to do in the past. Not as nimble and bulletproof. A little depressing to be honest.
that is called policeman's heel here in the uk .
I've never heard of that. Walking the beat, I guess right. It's definitely painful. Thanks for commenting.
Not for me...all show no go..
To each their own, correct. Thanks for watching.
Mate why would so close that stupid
@peterconnolly9828 The proper phrase is, "That stupid bro".
