fr! i just found out about dragons den after watching shark tank for close to 7 years. i love all these weird pitches on the dragon’s den. I’ve never seen anything like this on shark tank + they bring on a lot more smaller entrepreneurs and businesses rather than on US show.

"Doggy Hotels are okay but doggy restaurants aren't?" Because one is stupid branding and the other isn't. Dog picnic. Dog county fair. Dog daycare with a special lunch package. Doggy playdate. Dog birthday parties. Anything at all except a table and chairs and candles where dogs shit on the tables and lick each others' asses. The founders can have those for a 3% royalty off of every dog arcade game.

With the dog restaurant, you can't just feed a dog what's on their menu. Every dog's diet is different and require different things. With allergens, you have be careful with proteins, for example, as some dogs have allergies to that. There are a range of things that can happen when a dog comes into contact with foods like beef, chicken, pork, dairy, etc.. There could be a liability if something made the dog very sick. But as long as they provide ingredients to the food, there should be no issues. But judging from what I read on Yelp, they do grooming and other stuff. Calling it a restaurant might be a misnomer.
Dude, you're really trying to make it more complex than it is. If there is a menu, they usually say what is in the dish, then the owner can pick....cause they know what is wrong with their dog, if they can't eat pork then go for something else and so on.

Cat cafes are huge ita a different idea but people love pet things the doggy restaurant is a good idea just on the idea that peoplw get to feed their dog a relatively decent meal compared to whats on the market. Especially at the pricing not everyone can afford to buy there dog meat from the store but at $7 for a larger dog people would be able to afford to treat their dog. I new name would be better but the core concept would work. I worked in pet friendly retail stores and nit a pet store and the amount of dogs i seen was awesome i even seen a cat, a rabbit, a parrot. People crave to give their pets a better and more enjoyable life. Canned dog and catfood is made from the crappiest animal parts and lacks many regulations most pet owners are aware of this and aren't a fan.
