book club radio set never fails to get me through the day - all the retirees at my company have book club radio to thank for their pensions getting processed on time
42 yr old edm head from Ireland who has loved these sets but love boiler room!!! Especially Tale in palistine, just wondering if the place her set was played is still stranding? Wishing the best to all innocent who have been affected!!! Hope you are all well!! Blessing to all!!!
1) This set is an amazing throwback and brings me much joy 2) I see you bookclubfan1 3) I love the progression of the parties from a handful of folks in a living room to this
I dunno about that. That's a bit too much. This is a more private setting, TBH. Plus, in the huge outdoor or stadium audiences it is really cool to have everyone turn their phone camera flash on at the same time at the DJ's request. It's the modern equivalent to the lighter flame. So I wouldn't really want to see that removed from the larger gigs.
@@shanejohns7901 I mean, this is basically simulating many of the clubs environments form the 1990s and 2000s. But even then, people would have brought in their cassettetape camcorders from those eras and film it that way too.
@@ClassicCartoonPoster1080 Yea, the 90s to 00 was my time in the clubs. I pretty much quit going cold turkey after that. I was on a dance floor Y2K at midnight. What really can ever hope to top that?!??! But I don't want to force people to revert back to a different time period just to re-create a bygone era.
@@shanejohns7901 Yeah, I unfortunately was too young around the time Y2k/90s club dances occurred. Heck, never went to one until I went on the cruise ship, but I did feel after 2015, it was better to simply just play/mix music how I like it if you ask me. I mean, it's to just simulate that feeling if you ask me.
as someone who started clubbing in the late 90s and still likes to poke his toe in here and there, it’s a such a pleasure to see communities like BOOK CLUD RADIO doing it’s damn thing. love & respect JOJO ❤ - PLUS my man threw in FAITHLESS and tore it down!! 🙌 so good!! you made my day ❤
A who’s who of centennial tracks; coagulated through new old school flows. Full of lulls and crescendos calling forth transcendental vibes from days long gone… Awoken anew and remembered. Add-end-um: “Don’t face the Dj” has to be the best sign ever 🎉❤😎
We Come 1 was a banger, Young and beautiful as well, 🎉 Basically when Jojo starts singing, jumping and smiling, it’s all fire🔥🎶❤️🔥✨ Excellent set Jojo~!!!🖤✌️
Today was a rough day. Studying was the last thing I could sit down and concentrate on. Came to this channel as I often do for music to jam out to and boom... instant mood lift. Because if you gotta deal with maths, you might as well be fist pumping your way through it. Let's go!
Los sigo desde hace 1 año no dejo de ver ese video del depa rojo con tinzo, Felicidades por el éxito que han conseguido y es que lo hacen excelente, ojalá vengan a México seria un regalote conocerlos en persona y disfrutar su talento!! Saludos!!
First three tracks made me put everything aside and just dance to this flawless selection by 🙌🏻Jojo🙌🏻 for the full duration of the set. The best energy 💪🏻
Amazing mix! I never thought I'd hear all these tracks in one set outside of my iPod. Straight up thrilled to see you two in Seattle! Come Portland next time
Just watched the Fa cup Final, who saw that coming. Just watched with my daughter, we are back in London together. We are loving our weekend, from her studies abroad. JoJo; Tinzo, we are so excited to experience this as a dad and daughter tomorrow. Supercalifragilicious.😀
The collaboration during their era of dance music really makes it stand out to me. Tiesto with Tegan and Sarah, A-Track with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Crookers with Kid Cudi, and so many other examples. So many popular songs by mainstream artists immediately had a high quality remix by an A-List producer. Wish I could go back.
Kudos on a terrific set Jojo! It really hit me in a fun and nostalgic way as I hit my bottom and subsequently learned how to club/dance sober to several of these records. Respect for the Tiesto tracks off his 'kaleidoscope' album. This album didn't get much love at the time, or in the club, but was a major turning point in the sound of dance music icons and I listened to it a lot as I was figuring my life out. Anyway, this was my introduction to Jojo and the Book Club. You have a new fan and this party is definitely on my bucket list now! Love the no phone policy and removing the limitations around the overkill of genres and subgenres. Let's just dance!
Immense set Im so glad to of discovered this talanted DJ Also shout out to the guy in blue suit hes a joy to watch hes so in tune with the music bless u man
Oh I love this mix so much, all these songs bring back so many good memories ❤ I get to listen to this gem in my car while my youngest sleeps and we wait for my other 3 to finish up the last day of school for the summer break... Relaxing
39:55 Watch on the left a couple passes by the woman in the front by the dj stand. Right after they move by a guy in a grey shirt slides in with a hesitated hover arm then pulls back. He tries to fit in for a little bit. Then starts moving back into to the woman's space. She then shuffles off. But if you rewind back to like 35:00 you can see when he first approaches. It's really creepy. [e]Also I'm not sure how the no phones on the dance floor rule is enforced, but hopefully people have easy access to phones in case something does happen out there.
Dude definitely knows he got caught creepin. Especially with that fist clench when she pulled away finally, and then he looks straight into the camera a couple times 😆 what a weirdo
I think you are being too harsh, I’ve seen him in at least one other Bookclub video & he’s just slightly awkward with a limited set of dance moves. I like to think he’s there for the music, it certainly looks like it to me.
The Kaskade Mix of Lana Del Ray Young and Beautiful into the Little Bit (Autoerotique Bootleg Mix) by Lykkee Li was absolutely smooth. I've never heard a transtion like that.
Tinzo + Jojo are going on tour across the USA 🇺🇸 www.tinzoandjojo.com. Come dance your heart out! But remember no phones on the dancefloor
Speaking of a tour... Amsterdam is SO close to London. 😎
You ever gonna put that set back up that you took down the other day? Tinzo + Jojo on the New York rooftop? I only got to hear like 1/4 of it sadly :/
Come to Amsterdam!!
montreal and toronto aren't too far from NY, just say'n ;)
what a way to open a set 🥵
Absolute bangers
I love u tinzooooo 💕

Yep. Always a win for the ears
nothing compares to this era of edm, tears of nostalgia, that intro was special
Hell yeah. You're absolutely right about that.
damn right
I would have to go with late 90's to 2005. Everything after that.. Meh
I felt it cringe (European) heard it far tooo much to enjoying it anymore
Well said!!!
That opener was *chefs kiss*
I thought it was an amuse bouche.....
Calling songs from the 2000s classics hits me right in the age

Only 15 minutes in and I already know I'm going to be listening to this set a ridiculous number of times.

Careful @jojolorenzo and @tinzomusic ya going to bring all us old people back to the club with these tracks.
