Hi Willy 😊 Once again, a great video & nice to hear your sister in the background, hi sis 👋 The trip to your sisters was a nice view & tks for taking us along. Loved the music u choose. The moose burgers look delicious, it made me hungry for some. 😋 lol I haven’t had moose burgers in a long time. Glad the dog got a little taste as well 😂 Looking forward to the next video. Take care & you both have blessed evening & week🤗🙏
Hi Willy and Linda Thanks for taking us out to see Bauline. And those burgers 🍔 😋 sure looked delicious. I've never had 🫎 moose. But I would like to try it some time. Can't wait until your next video. Take care. Bye-bye.❤🙏✌️🫵 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Willy & Sis, I really appreciate Your Sister's input in the cooking video as I tried cooking moose meat a couple of times but a little unsure of the process.
Moose, elk and deer meat is so delicious. Yes I add beef suet and in most cases extra ground beef to add some healthy fats. Definitely helps to make the burgers or meatloaf moist. The aroma of a nice cut of wild venison roast roasting in the oven with carrots and spuds is something I never will get over. It’s heavenly. And a totally different and unique smell and taste than beef. Big hugs to you and Sis ❤
Ohhhh Willy moose burgers yummy ! Had some in August when I was home for vacation!!! Delicious. Can’t cook them to long though or they dry out I find anyway. 🎉
Cook the moose until the red is out of them. They were delicious. Now on with the moose spaghetti. Have a great night. I hope you make it back this way soon Chad.

@@Gibbs1992that’s very nice of you to give Willy some moose sausages to do another video. Willy fried potatoes with the sausages would be great & some corn on the side, seeing u love corn, me to 😊
I am sorry Willie I love you and you’re cooking, but I feel like you have done a total disservice to this moose meat by adding ground beef to it. Yes, it is game meat and that is the whole point to be able to eat some meat that is not 100% fat! I was just gifted some ground venison and I was mentioning about making a meatloaf so the people were happy and just said you barely need a rack in a loaf pan to put this on top of because it will not create all of the grease that you normally would think……….. so yeah, of course that made total sense……. but to each their own I am sure it was wonderful! And your sister definitely has some good input as far as not working the meat too much as to make it tough. Anyway, thanks for sharing once again, stay warm and stay humble !
Hi Kelly, Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for being a part of this journey. I truly appreciate your perspective on preparing moose meat. In Newfoundland, it’s quite common to blend ground moose with a bit of ground beef or beef fat. This practice helps add moisture and juiciness to the naturally lean moose meat, ensuring the burgers are flavorful and not too dry. For instance, some cooks recommend adding beef fat to moose meat to improve texture and juiciness. That said, I completely understand and respect your preference for enjoying the unique, lean quality of pure moose meat. It’s wonderful to hear about your experience with ground venison and the meatloaf-sounds delicious. Cooking is such a personal and regional experience, and I love learning about different methods and traditions. Thanks again for sharing your insights and for your continued support. Stay warm and humble, and happy cooking.
