Chivalry 2 5 Combat Tips in 5 Minutes (get more kills)

- Hey Angels, If you are new to Chivalry II one of my favorite new games and are struggling to get kills. I have 5 combat tips in a short 5 minute video that will help you to isolate more kills and win more fights and duels. Chivalry 2 is very punishing to new players to the genre however in no time you will be out dropping high kill games and hitting nasty clips. A technique that I found affective is when you and your apponent are mid health and they start swinging for the fences. Hit them with a jab and follow up with a kick to break their blocking turtle instinct. It's quite risky but I've been using it and it's worked 80% of the time. Only use this against players with low health because they are most likely to go into turtle mode. 🐢
Tip #15 make sure to bring your sniper rifle

Tip #16 always have a buddy with a shield for when you follow all other tips but get one shotted from a crossbow anyways midfight. lol

I will say, dragging and kicking aren’t utilized enough and really helped my game. For example riposte and walk/drag a little around them. It can be risky in big fights but works a lot. Also counter into drag slash is OP. I’ve only been playing for a few days but it’s such a good game to progress at. Also the tips being giving in this vid are great. Never turn your back and run, the time it takes to auto sprint is enough to kill you. If multiple guys attack counter, riposte DRAG SLASH, it helps hit multiple opponents. Also use the dodge/back step. That’s about it I can think of for new players.

I’ve found that countering turtles gets them to box themselves instantly or after they get feinted on once they are expecting a counter.
Advice on selling feints is so crucial, as you've said, like in real combat

Tip : If you dont like the fact you need to press block for feint you can just go to controlls and bind it separately.

I need to stop throwing all my weapons before the fights done.
I do that all the time. I sometimes get a long distance hatchet kill. It's fun
How come it very briefly switches to a clip of a rifle at around 0:19

@@StridahsAngels i actually found it quite funny mate.
On console it seems we cant really "sell" the faint. As far as i can tell it must be activated at the beginning of the initial move. Otherwise the initial move follows through. I could be doing it wrong but ive made several attempts.
I am confident you can feint late, one my my friends Typer is on console and does it all the time

Ive just started playing Vanguard, and am always getting killed by short-sword users because of my slow weapon. Any tips?

I have made a lot of changes.
Q . Left arm quick attack
R. Kick
F. Strong attack. Dash attack.
LMB. Invert normal attack (now swing comes from the left to right and Sir now ure a legit southpaw)
E. Upper slash
G. Use. Grab/pick up/help
Middle mouse button. Throw, pick up, camera follow.
° , healing.
4, battle cry.
C, normal attack, ballista shot.
Shift, thrust attack
Cntrl. Crouch.

@@StridahsAngels I've convinced everyone of my friends to test their own feelings about the controlls.
And they all agree they found interesting changes for their own playstyle.
But. I tried to think between faster hamd finger movements and better comprehension, instead of this button do this cause 'yes'.

I took a 2-3 month break just from work my boys got ripped my wig off over warzone etc etc, I am the worst lvl 100 to ever play chivalry rn PRACTICE makes perfect,

Mistakes were made, I think I made the video on an old template. Was when I was still new. Check out my more recent tutorials will help a lot.

Tip #2 watchu gonna do when the "turtle" shield bashes you (shield-jab), when your winding up your second attack or yourkick but I do agree if u get the kick off, if he doesn't jab, then it's a likely garunteed hit
BRO- JUST CUZ PEOPLE USE SHEILD DOSNT MEAN THEY ARE BAD, DO YOU KNOW HOW GOOD SHEILD IS? IN NOT ONLY bLOCKS LITERALY ALL POJECTILES(essensial for a knight) BUt also MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A BADASS

@@StridahsAngels archers are great for the realism aspect. I always like being killed by archers. I dont get why people hate archers, that's there job to give distant Support.

@@StridahsAngels well if you want it realism then you have to play a seige for over a year cause real medival seige could take years to conquer a kingdom. On a small scale they did a good job.

@@StridahsAngels jabs are op af. You can shit down just about every heavy attack. Just gotta listen for the long “grunt” also. A jab into a kick has almost never failed me. A tad harder to do in 1vXs but if you find yourself 1 on 1 it’s golden

Let's be real, the only tip you need:
Find someone to back stab, then stab them in the back 😉. Then you'll see you have 30+ kills, easy peasy!
