Nice video, but i have two questions: where do i have to install the fan hub on the motherboard (exact name) and do i have to add a Sata to the power supply to connect the fan hub or where did you install it? Thx
One Sata cable to the fan hub - this powers the fan hub. Then you can two cables from the fan hub to the motherboard. One 3 pin 5v (argb) header from the hub to the motherboard (your mobo hopefully has at least one argb header). Finally there is a fan header from the hub to the motherboard, thus you can connect to cpu fan or sys fan, either or is fine. These are the three connections needed.
Hmm. I saw only two cables in the Video! SATA is clear now! A second connects the whole Fan Hub with the Motherboard as is understand 🙈 im missing the third one in the Video :(
1. You connected 2 Cpu Cables on your PSU - do I have to do this, when I'm not overclocking? - Just have one cpu installed and therefore it comes to my mind - I should only put in 1 Cpu at psu and connect to MB ? Correct me if I'm wrong. 2. Does it make a difference if I connect the Lian li included fan hub - with the sata port of the psu or the peripheral one? Don't know what's the difference here
If you don’t plan on overclocking at all the second connection is not needed. Although I’d recommend plugging it in regardless if you plan on oc’ in the future!
@@Mdntech3000 I nearly finished my work - just having one last question: I'm getting the 4070 RTX Gaming X Trio in this system. What happens if you use AIO fan controller, do you plug all fans on that including the case fans? or just plug the case fans on the hub and use aio pump fans on the controller?
If you use an AIO controller and plug the fans in there (the AIO controller normally still connected to the mobo usb 2.0 and one fan header plus sata to the psu - depends on AIO though ) then they still work of course. The AIO then controls all the fans and you’d do that by using whatever AIO software is out there like L connect or armory crate

You’ll use the provided 12vhpwr for the 4070, and from the psu you’ll use two 8 pin (6+2) that’ll connect to the other side of the 12vhpwr adapter
how about the top panel fan? are you recommending 2 or 3 fans to pull out hot air?
