But you don't unlock the materia recipe until you beat the normal dungeon first, which is where darkness gets cast. You don't need the esuna darkness for the hard dungeon tho.
Definitely the same with my account lol You could probably get away with just 2 magic users in normal though or maybe even 1 if its a super strong DPS like Magic Ice Sephi.

I did it with a PATK team, we get an esuna materia that cures darkness status, so no issue.
But you don't unlock the materia recipe until you beat the normal dungeon first, which is where darkness gets cast. You don't need the esuna darkness for the hard dungeon tho.
