- In this video I install the rest of my 034 Motorsport Adjustable suspension upgrades, including all new front lower control arms, adjustable upper control arms, and solid front subframe bushings. Together this drastically improves the handling of my B6 Audi A4, and makes it just that much better for racing.

I don’t even own one of these and I still loved watching this.
The quality in each video is insane. The B6 has me feeling motivated!
1.8T version of this was my first Audi. Haven’t watched the rest of vids yet, but: replace shifter and I used Porsche brakes 20 years ago (wish I had todays options)… the brakes suck. Try to find a smashed S4 to get the better body kit for full race car 😂
Longtubes if keeping that engine. Looks fun tho
Go grab yourself some 17z/18z calipers and ML350 350mm Rotors. Pretty easy swap
I really appreciate the videos you make and they are a blast for me to watch!!
So excited for this build
Make sure you put some grease on the pinch bolt so it won't seize again on you and always use a new bolt.
Great video as always
I am amazed how underrated your channel is, GREAT WORK! also I have a question: what size are the pinch bolts for the upper control arms?
Awesome. ..... Too good 🤠🤠🤘🏻
Yeah the pinch bolt on the front control arms are a hassle! Have done them myself and can confirm no matter what tools you go into with, its gonna be a b*tch. What i did was use a either a butane or propane torch to heat it up and bang on it with a hammer loosen it a bit and do that over and over until it became feasible. Thanks for posting! Love the b6 content but I understand it taking a while. Great video quality man.
I'm pretty sure it matters what type of torch you use I just can't remember what it was
Lol whoops you already explained all of this, useless comment^
The pinch bolt can be a " complete and utter pig " to get out. So much so on my 2008 A6 that we replaced the whole steering knuckle on the passenger side
Jbulin is a standup guy.
I got my pinch bolts out with map gas torch and a air chisel. No impact as they can break the pinch bolt. Just heat it up for awhile and they come out
nice i wanna see more vids liike this
Hi i would definitely recommend an S-line steering wheel! I got one on my b6 and its a lot thinner than the ordinary one.
That’s a good tip! This steering wheel is way too beefy
Have you changed swaybars? How balanced is the steering behavior now, still bit under-steery?
Replace the control arms, and ball joints anyways and control arms
Can you fill us in on what you are using for your snub mount, motor mounts and trans mount? Thanks Look forward to meeting you..I am in the Madison area also...
Well hey there neighbor. I'm using all 034 mounts. Poly snub mount, and the Density Line engine and transmission mounts.
I recently ordered those adjustable upper arms from 034 motorsports, they took 5 months to ship even though the website had them marked in stock. I never would have bought them if I knew how long it was gonna take. Definitely delayed my drift audi build 😅
Dang that sucks… but did you say drift Audi?!
@@FlinkFilms yessir, I did the solid front subframe mounts and got them from 034 motorsports as well. They didn’t fit for crap lol I didn’t have access to a press and ended up grinding the edge so more of a bevel. Then I was able to just put them with a nut and bolt. Idk if tolerances really need to be that tight, other brands like Verkline press in wayy easier
In the future use anti seize paste
I’d be scared to press them in with that much force for fear of splitting the wall on the subframe. I would have taken off 0.001” off the bushing until it fit with less force.
First lets gooooooooo
What coilovers are you using?
They’re custom ordered Functionwerks coilovers. I’d definitely recommend them!
12:41Must compensate for the track width difference between front and rear by adjusting the widths of the plates. Results can be pretty decent. ( that difference is divided by two, of course)
Do torsen mod mate.
Wanna seee more vids on b8
! Get 0-60 video out
The 0-60 is disappointing honestly. Even with traction all the way off, the manual A4s fight any sort of launch without roasting the clutch. I tried competing in a street drags event and every pass the car would just bog. Kind of a bummer but at least it’s fun otherwise. That’s why I’ve never made any sort of drag race or 0-60 video
Soak the bolts over night in penetrating oil before you do this
Guy always wears pants....
This is kind of ridiculous. You're slaloming a 4,000 lb. car? Have you ever picked up one of those seats? Have you ever picked up a racing seat? The car is very heavy. It's no track car.
Yeah it’s a boat haha. Not a very good choice for a track car, no, but it’s still a lot of fun
