- In this video im going to show you how to factory reset Apple Airpods pro, Airpods 1st Gen, Airpods 3rd Gen thats already locked with iCloud in a simple process. Aswell as pairing it to your iphone if it doesnt want to connect.
Is the Find My tied to battery case & not the individual buds as far as ICloud sees it?

So i got those from a friend resetted them connected them forgot device connected them again then i looked in icloud my devices didnt show up ( on find my it did) and also i looked on my friends find my it was still on his find my but i didnt get to see if it was the last time

You can link them to your phn this way but iCloud is not bypassed so that’s not true… original owner can still track them

The owner of the mixed-up AirPods parts can see the location of the parts they own.” - so does the previous owner have to forget the device so they aren’t seeing your location? Bought used and going to take them back if they’re being tracked

This method works for some people, for me when I reset the AirPods Pro it will say AirPods setup incomplete with an error saying some parts mismatch even though It’s not mismatch, then it will not let me use the Find My Network feature which lets you track each part separately for example if you forgot the charging case it will ring a sound from the speaker of the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen

No, you dont have to reset it multiple times. It will never be tracked if you reset it. It will only be tracked if its shows you a notification with the owners name. Otherwise it is as good as new.

I’ve been having connectivity issues with my 1st Gen AirPods for years. Still have them and still have issues. Sometimes they work fine, other times I my phone connects to them, but I can’t hear anything. For example: I’ll answer a call on my phone. While the call is in progress, I’ll open my Air Pod 1st Gen case, place a bud in an ear and NOTHING. I’ll check my call audio source and it indicates I’m on Air Pod and still NOTHING. I try switching back and forth between iPhone and or speaker and those work fine. I’ll switch back to AirPids as my audio source and NOTHING! Tried resetting them and when I hold the buttons for 15 or more seconds, the light goes from flashing white to flashing orange (not red) and then back to flashing white. I get the Air Pods “connect” screen pop up. No longer says “G’s AirPods”. But once I connect, it goes back to G’s AirPods without me changing the name manually.
Does this sound right? They are working fine right now, just curious to know if it going back to flashing white after amber is correct.

What if it says the pair is mismatched and connected to a another iCloud ID? They show up under my Find app but it docent show location, can previous owner still see the location of the AirPods?
You have to go on fmi app and hit on remove from Apple ID and then hold the back button for 15 secs and that message will go away and you will be able to track

Because it has been factory reset, you have to pair it again with your icloud.

Since it shows you a notification of the owners name, then it means his icloud is connected to it. After you factory reset it he will no longer get to see the tracking, henceforth, it will not be tracked
@@TechYadOfficial so after you reset it, it will still say “mismatch” but it will only show them last location before the reset ? I’ve reset mine like 4-5 times but it says mismatch still
@@tack3411 From what I've understood you only need to reset it once and then try to connect it to your iCloud from an apple device. Maybe you also need to set up your Airpods to the find my iphone app with your Apple Id/iCloud. I think this will fix you problem, I have only researched on it today.
