This video was amazing! I must’ve watched like a hundred videos about my new 2nd Generation Air Pod Pros and there are so many features mentioned here that no one else seems to be talking about. This content is really SUPER useful. Thanks!
The live listen is also great for those with less than stellar hearing. Instead of asking people to repeat themselves (maybe they are softly spoken), I can put in my airpods pro and enjoy a conversation without having to constantly ask somone to repeat themselves. I also noticed that conversations were easier to head just by putting the buds in and not playing anything, including live listen. They tend to filter noise such as music and other distractions e.g. like at a pub.
Thanks for the video, just an FYI for those still using Pro gen 1s, except for the specific case changes all of these settings are available to gen 1 pros as well. It’s an iOS update enhancement. You missed ticking on follow iPhone in the accessibility menu to enable the extra menu options for spacial. If it’s off you only get fixed and off on the shortcut menu. Again thanks 🙏
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
Thanks so much for making this video. Your tip on removing the buds from the case by pushing forward from the back was so helpful, I was struggling to remove them easily before this. Legend!
Thank for your time and sharing your knowledge with all of us! Just got my AirPods Pro2 for early Christmas present and…..truth be known, 11:06 because of big price drop for a day at $178 instead of $249. What a great video that was very informative and well explained. Wanted to let you know that I both liked and subscribed👍👍👍
About the microphone in just one earphone, it is very useful to send audio messages in any IM. If you leave it automatic, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. It improves a bit when you leave it on manual. It's not the best, but it's an improvement
Very helpfull as I'm in my 70s but still like a Peter Pan when it comes to gadgets & with having an Ipod since 2001 I'm loving using my Air Pod Pro's with my Iphone & also my other gadgets which I find fun .. But I will say that when I listen to some explanations about gadgets like these great Air Pod's they never give the correct info .. but with your explanations it's all there ..
I’m bookmarking this video. I’ve just had my new AirPods for a week and I already love them, I will definitely try some of your tips! At work, I’m required to listen for the phone ringing so I only wear one AirPod at a time. So thank you for the tips for that situation. Their battery life is amazing so far! Thank you for a well-paced, very informative video! Watching from Georgia in the US.
Excellent video! Also the earpods will start to learn how you use them and if you take them out of your ears and put in case for just a few minutes every now and again the battery life will extend appx 15 minutes per pod. If you hold your case over your iphone and open it, the battery percentage will show up in a small picture of the case and the buds. They are fantastic ear pods and become quite a personal device. Thank you for the tips!
With the Dynamic Head Tracking I found that if you move your head and keep it in that same position for. About 10 seconds the software will re-centre the audio.
Excellent video. I have mild hearing loss (age-related) but as I am a professional musician and conductor these devices have been a lifeline to me. The accessibility adjustments are a revelation, as you describe. In fact the change was so magical it made me quite emotional as I switched from what I already thought was good to the corrected version. This is an Apple product that has had a huge impact on my life in just a few days. Thank you for your contribution to that.
Love you man you got me when you showed me that listen I seen a few videos on UA-cam of all the stuff on this and your the only one who showed us the cool stuff we need so I appreciate it
This is my first time here after getting a pair of AirPods 2 for the first time ever. This video was so informative! I had no idea all of these other settings existed! Definitely coming back, subbing, and liking!
The custom EQ feature makes the AirPods sound so much better for me. If it wasn’t for this video I would’ve never known that feature existed so thank you!
I absolutely use just one AirPod at a time! I drive Big Rigs for a living, and I don’t like the clunky over the head boom mic options, so one AirPod at a time in transparency mode is my go to.
I tried making an audiogram with an app and importing it to my airpods... it didn't sound that great... a bit muddy. I tried the simple test in settings instead and they decided to boost vocal range and now they sound probably almost as good as multi-driver IEMs. that vocal boost REALLY makes a difference.
I have trouble mapping my ears with the spatial audio because I can’t see out the side of my head so if you have any tips for how to do this let me know
My case sometimes starts beeping when i grab it , or when its shaken in my backpack but not everytime , sometimes i grab it and it doesnt beeping so it shouldnt be caused by the motion.. does anyone know why it does that ? What does that beeping sound mean ? Coulnt find an answer on the net
Just bought the new ones for my wife and I. Super helpful tips and tricks. I knew the ambient sounds was a feature with an iOS update, but had no clue on how to get to it. Now I’m an expert 😂 thanks bud 👍🏼
When I am in Add an Audiogram, and click on Don’t Use Audiogram, the Continue button does not show in blue enabling me to set up an Audiogram up even though my headphones are connected.
From the north east corner of the USA, while I haven’t watched the whole video yet I was so impressed that I had to subscribe and of course like!! Simple to follow and learn goodies, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!!😊
I definitely appreciate the instructions. As an older person, though it would have been much easier for me if you would have gone just a tad slower what’s your narration and to have a close-up of what you were doing on the screen visually. Thank you though. It did answer my questions 😊
Just FYI on speed control. If you click on Settings (the gear icon below the video) and select Playback speed, you can slow the playback. And the voice is still the same pitch, just slower.
Hello! Thank you for the video! I have some issue, the quality of Audio messages with microphone are good in some apps but very poor quality like whatsapp? Anyone knows what’s the issue is?
Just curious, has anyone had difficulty getting the case to show its charge level in the settings where the AirPods are next to it in a picture? Mine only shows the charge of the AirPods, but not the case. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
amazing vid!! normally these videos i find don't have many actual useful tips, but this one had to many cool ones like custom eq and tapping the case! thanks!!
8:19 this feature works great when one mic is broken but the other one is completely fine, found that out when I broke my AirPods Pro 1st gen. Thank goodness I got the new ones lol
Well when it comes to which AirPod I wanna use with the Microphone, I leave it on Automatic. I personally do it this way because I’m moving around most of the time and I’ll just pull on out of the case to answer a call. Not paying attention to whether it’s the Right or Left Airpod
I use solo noise cancellation so I can play video games with the headphones on and listen to music at the same time. I don’t use it all the time but it makes hearing the music easier, especially when on with people.
With my AirPods Pro 2 generation sometimes I use to hear the sound of noise cancellation switching mode clings higher but sometime It sounds very Low ? Any solution ?
Hello Troy, just wanted to say that you’ve done an amazing job in this video by taking your time and explaining all the different features that come with the AirPod Pro second generation. One question I have for you is: when you want to disconnect the phone call and your hands are dirty let’s say you working on your car or you got oily fingers or greasy fingers, obviously you can’t double press the stem of the AirPod. Is there any other way how to disconnect or hang up the phone call from the AirPod itself besides having to double pinch the AirPod Pro stem? Thank you, AJ
Oh man you right on point and I thought I knew it all you best I’ve seen yet and I got some new ones coming today and they ain’t fake someone got me the last time 🤬✊🏾💯
I can't change the accessability settings because it says this only works for apple or beats headphones. But my Airpods pro 2 earbuds are connected, why is that..

I just got my Airpods Pro2 and your video was helpful. However, when I use Find My, it does show the location but the Play Sound is Off and it responds as connecting but does not connect. When the pods are in my ears and connected, I can hear sound in either ear. Is there a problem with the sound from the charge case? Is there another way to test the charge case sound?
Wow, I can’t believe how hidden the accommodations setting to test your hearing and create your own equalizer settings is…I’ve watched many videos on the AirPods Pro 2 and you are the only reviewer who has even mentioned this. That’s really good to hear! For some reason it has only just been picked up by YT. I was actually beginning to think that I had made a bad video.

Thanks so much. Apple really dropped the ball as far as providing a user guide for the AirPods Pro. You did a great job.

One of THE most useful videos I've watched on these new AirPods. Thanks for making it.
Use it during a video call where i keep one airpod in my hand to use as a mic and other stays in the ear. Its quite a handy feature.

the custom EQ setting thingy just says connect headphone when i try it 1:10
