thrift stores in the us have more variety than regular stores, regular stores normally only have a limited amount of styles and colors each year, and basically every store has the same thing. and also if you sew, you can buy thrift store clothes to get good material cheaply, or just buy things to alter into whatever style you like. each thrift store generally has a certain level of quality and corresponding prices, and also a target audience. and thrift stores like goodwill will vary in quality depending on what neighborhood they're found in.
England is full of charity shops that sell primarily low quality second hand things (cloths, toys, books, some even furniture)
в Египте секунд хонд не такой популярен, но однажды я купил пальто секунд хонда поэтому что оно было такое старое и интересное, я много думал о человека который его одевал, что он думал, как он жил, с кем встретился. это пальто всегда у меня почти 8 лет, я даже принес его со мной когда я приехал в России.😄

My mom and I owned second hand stores for 30 years. It was consignment. So we sold other Peeples stuff. The consignee would receive 50 percent of the money if their item sold. Now, walmart, the dollar store make it very hard for regular people to make a living. Especially since rent on a building was 4000 a month not including utilities.
У нас в деревнях в Греции была такая ситуация: мы обменяли одежду с соседями или с родственными/ друзьями…. Но у нас не были такие магазины

I think you have moved on over time and done much good for advanced speakers of Russian who have managed to keep up with up.
I think you may have left a lot of your friends and clients behind.
I think you really want people to learn Russian with you…if you want more people to do this, you might have to go back and pick up people again…start again and use everything you have learnt…beginners and intermediates again…there are many more people out there than advanced learners…and I think some of them they would be happy to pay in the same way I am. Забавный факт обо мне: я никогда не покупал новую одежду. Одежда доставалась мне по наследству от родственников и друзей, мне дарили одежду или я покупал новую. Единственное исключение: футболки группы на концертах.
Честно говоря после девяностых из принципа не покупаю В секонд-хенде, но если родственники или друзья что-то дают не отказываюсь

I think the idea of second hand is very good. But my personal solution is to buy very few things and use them for years.
Nowadays Russian is not on the list of languages I want to learn (I don't want to mix it with Slovak), but once in a while ... I don't mind when UA-cam suggests a Russian with Max video.

Я знал об этом книге четыре года назад, я не знал русский язык и очень хотел читать версию по итальянский этой книги но не была всё опубликована. Hello guys! I undeerstand a lot but my writing skills are very poor so i'll write in English. I have been living in Moscow for the past 9 years and have bought many clothes ate the stores 'charity shop'. Currently the prices are very high but I bought incredible things 6 and 5 years ago. Also, I go to ismalovo market but unfortunately the medina has been shut so you can only find people selling on the pavement outside the market and things are now very poor quality. However it's nice to walk there and socialize with the sellers ) For second hand there are also commision shops with designer goods. It's possible to find cool things that otherwise you would t be able to afford new. I also sold things there, donated at charity shop and sold at ismalovo ...so i do both! Thank you for the interesting exchange of ideas. I may go to finland to find clothes. I'm portuguese and in lisbon there are also plenty of second hand shops. paka
