I started a mowing business after watching you back in the old days. Ran it out of the back of my Mazda station wagon the whole six years I was in the game, until I sold it about three years ago. Had two push mowers and two weedeaters in the wagon with the back seats down flat, as well as all the rest of my gear. I fashioned a couple of ramps to easily get the mowers in and out of the car. It worked out quite well, and I had around fifty lawns when I sold up. It wasn't too bad a job, but my age meant health issues became too much, so had to give it up. I was 60 at the time.
Greg I know you hear this a lot but I watched you back when I was 10 and you were starting this week in Lawncare and here I am beginning my small business with lots of saving and advice from you. I knew not to be scared and I purchased a Ferris walk behind to help me keep up with the work! I love the new and old videos. You'll never understand your impact on my life!
I’m a fellow St. Louis resident myself! Watched your videos all through middle school and now that i’m at SLU doing lawn care on the side I pulled the trigger and bought a ferris fw45 48 (Of course from scott’s). I love what you do man, keep it up! You’ve been a huge inspiration to me
Amazing your setup is much the same for nearly a decade. That’s all you need as a solo operator. I’m old school too, a hydro walkbehind with a sulky are the most versatile mowers on the planet. Although I still have my troybilt 21 inch, I prefer the timemaster 30.
Hi Greg looking good! All the best for the new season from a solo gardener in North East England! This is going to be the best season ever! Take care and keep the uploads coming 👍
I'm on my 2nd ferris 48 walk behind. My new one is a FW45 and it's just awesome! The bigger hydros are strong. Best walk mower imo. Glad you are doing good Greg, been watching your vids for a long time man.
You’ll have to let me know when you come to Indiana again brother, would love to take you and the family out for a steak dinner with my family, we don’t live in Carmel, so no worries about the roundabouts lol but when you said that I laughed out way to loud, because I go through there daily and you’re not kidding about the amount of roundabouts they have!
Interesting choice the Ferris WB. I’ve never actually used one they’re not many around here, but I e always heard their ZTRs are the most comfortable/ have the best seat and suspension.
I got my combi tool years ago and i'm glad i did. But its not all that tall unless u get an extension. Plus at full stretch you do lose some power to cut thru thicker branches.
Freak, consider putting the trailer license plate onto the gate. Where’s it’s right now it’s super easy to rip off because it almost drags the pavement 😂
Just outside of St Louis. Man Laberts is Great! Throw me a Roll! I bought my old trailer from a place in Sikeston. The trailer manufacturing capital of the USA
@@gregchism absolutely. My old welding instructor runs the trailer supply in sikeston. I used to work there. Amazing people. Good chance I could of made your trailer lol

Nice to see a fresh upload Greg! I love all the old stuff as well, the one you did with your father being my favorite. May he rest in peace ❤
💜💜💜
What a blast from the past. I can still hear ya say 'freaks'. Glad to see your new channel.
I still want to say it in every video but some of the newer viewers keep asking why I am calling the Freaks 🤣🤣🤣
Love that trailer! And how can we forget the famous "Round A bouts"🤣
I always get nervous going through them with the trailer 👍🤣
@@gregchismI bet! Had me looking like I was the one driving🙃🤣

2024 Time to Level Up! 👍
@@gregchism I’m glad you are staying motivated!
I remember the geek to freak channel… stay away from those sneaky snacks haha
🤣👍
is the hedge clipper attachment upside down? be careful with a kombi in the trimmer rack, it can slide apart if the coupler comes loose.
Yeah I just stuck it on there to show everyone my favorite purchase from last year. :)

While you’re up that way, stop by Dukes BBQ. It’s dang good! Was at Scott’s last week pricing a new ISX 3300.
I seen Dukes but have not stopped in there yet. I went to Sugar-fire instead. 🤣🤣
@@gregchism you can’t go wrong there either!
I wish I was mowing right now but it’ll be until the end of April for up people who live in Wisconsin
Loving it!!
I love it keep it up
*Greg, get you a POOL NOODLE, cut it and slide it over the J hook on the trimmer rack...*
Good Idea!
@@gregchism I'll do a quick video
Thats amazing 👏

Where are you frrom in Missouri. Im about 32 miles south of sikeston. My brother works at lamberts cafe

Time to start mowing!
You got any old videos from your father talking about mowing yards back in the 80s?
You Should Try To Do Weather Videos!
Now that would be a Freaky Scene 😉
You still have your old place Greg or did you sell
I moved across the river to Missouri.
That’s so cool
How did you click it on that fast!? Wow! 👍
@@gregchism I’m just speedy at these things of course
Apparently So 🤣
We are getting quite a few round a bouts here,I hate them
Lots of interesting stuff happens in roundabouts, until people get use to them. 🤣
Niiice.
