Greg: I wrote a paper about you in 8th grade citing you as my biggest mentor. I'm now gonna be a junior in college (time flies) and my lawn care business is bigger and better than ever. Thank you for all your wisdom. Long live geek 2 freak!
That means a lot to me Mark 😁 I am super proud of your accomplishments! You are doing everything right and it will continue to get better and better from here!
Tons of small lawns in my town that's all that'll fit in the back yard, and the yard isn't very big to begin with. A few years ago I was mowing a few that were small enough that it took me 15 minutes from trimming to mowing and done...wish they were all that small, I could do say 3 an hour with drive time and loading & unloading time and such between and have a great income, but many people are hiring those professional companies with the high dollar equipment and fancy trucks and trailers now....good for them pay 4x the price doesn't bother me, I'll keep the small yards those guys can't get their fancy equipment into HAHA!!!
God what I would pay for some 7/11 funny stories!! You are a great story teller my friend!! Glad to see you back making videos!! The freaks need you my friend!!
Greg, I still have my first “Geek to Freak” Troybilt Mower I bought back in 2013. Don’t use it anymore but I keep it as a reminder of how I started my business. Surprisingly it still runs!
Nothing better than your watching vlogs Greg. Watching your videos over the years has done so much for me and honestly I wouldn't be where im at today if it wasnt for you! Thanks for keeping it real brother!
Absolutely over the moon to see you uploading lawn care videos Gregg you inspired me to take over my fathers landscape business now doing well just like you to know thanks
Oh Greg, can you do a video of your setup as of today and your process as of today with the business. How you do the grass clippings and things. And also how you organise to fertilise all the lawns for customers and keep them all good!! Also how to mow in the wet and what’s your limit. Just a quick video for this possibly in the future would help out so so much. I trust you that’s why I’m asking you everything.
GREGG, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE BACK! I used to watch your channel back when you went MIA... I love this! I started a Lawn Care Business bc of you! I started a Pressure Washing business now. Could You tell me why you stopped making videos?? Please, I would love to hear the feedback of why you quit making videos a few years back.
Omg iv herd of you thought you were gone. Awesome . Finally I seen the geek to freak. Even the toro timemaster only last 1 year when my we use them. Loved my Husqvarna awd ran the wheels off.
@@gregchism I enjoyed everything but what I liked most was that fact of you filming a day in the life of doing regular lawn care. Would love to see more residential lawn care.
Greg we all like your personality! I've been telling you for years how much you have changed my life. I was stuck in a totally miserable dead end joooob till I watched you videos for a couple years. My wife and I jumped in and now we are very very busy. You my friend were the first lawn care guy we watched and the biggest inspiration!!!! When you come up on my feed it brightens my day! We WILL be taking you out for lunch someday! Lol Matt Diefenbach, Flora, IL. Hopefully we can go to GIE this year.
Funny, you always used the Troy Bilt mowers. I bought one last season but the non-self propelled model. Now you go out and buy a Craftsman with a Honda engine HAHA!! I don't use my 21" mower that much just to trim around the border of the yard and around the trees, then use my lawn tractor on the rest. I did put an ad out a while ago for small yard mowing so we shall see what happens. Hoping to pickup a few lawns this year and get started again. Got completely out of mowing lawns for a while just got burned out, but trying to get back at it with a few lawns. I installed a gator mulching blade on my 21" mower and its been doing awesome, no bagging, no side discharge, 100% mulching at home. It does a great job at chopping up everything, so I figured I'd throw a set of gator blades on the lawn tractor too....no side discharging anymore just mulching...lawn stays greener too it seems.
Year 6 of lawncare hustle for me, thanks to you. Your mindset, which I adopted as my own, helped me through the tough times of starting a lawn care business in a country where people try to get the most of you at the smallest cost possible. A big thank you from Garden Life >:D
Hey good to see you my friend! Hope you and the girls are well! That Craftsman is the same as my late model Troy Bilt. Mine has the same Honda engine, it starts first pull pretty much every time..
Yep it started right about halfway thru the first front yard. Probably just breaking in, it seems ok now, but I have noticed it a couple times since, so you knows what will happen lol
Luv it greg! I used to be a FWD mowing guy, then recently switched to rear wheel (way better on bumpy lawns for me). I'm also short too so that's why 🤣. Anyway, great vid as usual bruh!
I need to just start posting them in the order they came out. Maybe not mention that they are from back in the day either :) That will really get some of the newer people confused 🤣
Love the new video Freak! You can’t kill those Honda engines... I swear by them! Question is will you do the right thing and reduce that #bg56c blower tube by half? It doesn’t look right for you! 🤣
I keep saying I'm going to get a self-propelled mower with a Honda engine. I'm so used to the push mower that I'm not sure I'd like it at first though.
@@gregchism We'll see. I take good care of this one so it'll probably last forever. Thanks for commenting back -- your videos were always special to me.
I tried one, it was a Toro FWD model. I was not impressed. Paid $75 for it, used it a couple months and sold it. It had horrible mulching results, didn't care for the self propelled feature and went back to an el-cheapo push mower. I got the non-self propelled version of Greg's Troy Bilts he used to use...better mulching no self propel stuff, I guess if you are just mowing an open area with few obstacles its ok, but I just trim around the border of my lawn and around the trees with my push mower and use the lawn tractor on the rest so the self propel feature isn't very useful to me for that. I think if I got another self propel model I'd go with a RWD better traction on hills especially if I have to use a bagger.
It was around 72 accounts, but it broke down to 54 to 58 per week, when you split up the every other week lawns and the weirdo 2 times per month empty home cuts. 😁
Nice video Greg 😀👍Also how do you like that new push mower? What do you like about this new lawnmower that you got and what don’t you like about it Stay safe man
I have a Troybilt 190 cc non self propelled push mower and a Troybilt riding mower and I have had them for a while,I keep the oil, spark plugs, air filters and blades changed, the only thing I had to do to the push mower was clean the carb and now it starts real easy, and that was more than 3 years ago.Do you every talk to Jeramy any more?

Part Time for a couple years now
Nice mower but I prefer the Briggs engine
Hello hope you've been doing well..
