Damn, I've already heard this but it made me cry again. My psychology professor used to always say love isnt just an emotion or feeling. Its an action and it should be reciprocated. You cant just say it... and its best to cut off that negativity like yall said. Your mind and body work together. When one is off then so is the other and harboring all of that negativity contributes to that. This is why people love Shizzy though. Its deeper than just clever bars. Hes real. I have never been through the exact situation that VI Seconds is going through but my wife was in this exact situation for years and years and it was hard for me to help her realize that a lot of these "family and friends" are just associates and you can't put your all into these people that will never reciprocate it back to you. Found VI Seconds after the youtube cypher. Honestly, I think he had the best verse on there. After the cypher, I went and looked him up, and this was the first song that I looked at. The second was "I'm sorry", and I swear, he was talking directly to me. I've been fighting depression for more years than I care to think about. I'm still fighting to this day. I honestly wish I could speak with VI Seconds, I don't know what I would say, but.... I dunno. I don't want to bother him, and I don't want him to fall back into this place. I was with you pops up until you basically said suicide is for sucka's..there's nothing punkish about suicide, it doesn't make you weak..not one bit, suicide means that you been strong for way too long and you see no other way out of your situation whether it be mental and/or physical..no doubt that it's the wrong move to make, still it's not up to us to judge the ones that go down that road..everybody handles life differently some keep they head up and keep it pushing while others give up hope and ends it all, regardless..it's up to us at the end of the day on how to move forward
I get where you're coming from my man, but as someone that's been there and dealt with my fair share on both sides of this coin, suicide is as easy as taking any other life. Suicide hurts the one's that love you. We're the ones that have to clean up afterwards. Mourn, and try to move on. Sometimes when you're in that corner surrounded by that darkness trying to cry out, you miss the lights right in front of you.
Personal opinions and all, but in mine there's always a light. Sometimes it takes a long time to find it, but it is there.
