SUPERNOVA RAP CYPHER | RUSTAGE ft. Shofu, Khantrast, Shwabadi & More [One Piece]
#onepiece #anime #reaction
Nerdcore tends to be dismissed because its usually rappers acting as characters (which is weird cuz most rappers are rapping as characters even when talking about themselves), but it gives a certain freedom that is absent from traditional rap. I relate to these anime characters as much as I relate to dudes doing drugs and shooting guns so I get the benefit of rappers using all their creativity without the supposed downsides.
I dunno why, but people that don’t watch Anime don’t understand the pure adrenaline high of the hype and audacity of the genre. They discount it cuz American Animation is either kid’s shows or satire with little to no creativity in terms of animation. Anime is in a league of its own, and sometimes, you need an equally insane beat to exemplify how bada** it really is.
I guarantee you have zero relation to "dudes shooting guns and doing drugs". Is that what you think rap is lmao
it also have a added benefit, people who dont know about rap but liek anime could watch this and enjoy it, maybe even get interested in thsi kind of music from a nice video like this
@@johnathanroth6205 Yeah, thats what I said. I relate the same to both. Which is fantasy.
@@gexianhen Its true. I like the lyricism in rap. But I don't care for the topics. With Nerdcore I get to listen to good rapping and its actually about something I care about.
For the third person (Eustass Kid/ Connor Quest) the whole thing I liked with the metal related lines is thats basically the character since he controls metals and magnetic pulls, also for the Basil Hawkins part, that character was him so you were right on that part
I thought it's a reference to Basil Exposition on Austin Powers
As good as the bars are, it's even crazier when you know about One Piece. All the characters are rapping to what powers they have (or the position they're in), in addition to the crazy schemes themselves. This is so good!
Exactly man like some really dope bars from all the rappers. It shows how much work they've put in the cypher.
Ham Sandwich's Femboy Cypher goes dummy
...thicc
We really need to get this man to watch some anime, we can’t have him missing bars like this
Very true
YESSIR!!! Knox doing Nerdcore is amazing to me. I love whenever he catches a bar.
I would recommend Okay by Rustage or Good bye by Rustage, both amazing and emotional tracks by Rustage.
Zach B: Heart and soul is also relatable.
DPS: Split is about Moon Knight and a fucking great song!
He's already done Split by DPS on a stream, can't remember which one tho
Heart and soul is god tier
Rustage in general
mc chris is the best nerd rap
if we going for rhyme schemes though, rustage's eren jaeger and rengoku raps go insane with inner rhymes.
I'm so glad u did this one
took the words right out of my mouth
Has he done the DB Super one? With the UI theme?
I know this may get drowned out but Shwabadi has some really dope ones you should check, like the Beasts of Anime rap cypher, Look Like Death, and Ranking of Kings
This. Like all of theese
Don't forget I want Violence that one always pumps me up
I’ve been waiting for you to react to this!
To answer your question, the character Shao is rapping as is named X Drake. Also, if you checked the description of the video it shows the names of the characters from the anime and who their rapppers are (this is also at the beginning of the video). Hope this helps!
15:32 I know you didn’t catch the bar, but when he said “Black Air Force style, stepping like CJ”, that’s not actually a show reference, but a UA-cam reference to CJ Dachamp and his series on the Black Air Force Energy characters in anime. Great series if you want to hear about straight diabolical behavior in anime explained in hood English
YESS!! Knox is doing more Nerdcore tracks!! Keep them coming man! There are a lot of fire tracks out there waiting for you to react to!
I’d recommend Rustage’s Beerus rap and DaddyPhatSnaps Goku rap!
Dizzy's Black Air Force Cypher is by far my favorite cypher, would love to see you react to it!
That would take like 20 years
I'd still watch it tho
Heat
@Crazy TV Oh for sure, I would definitely would a long ass video of him breaking down that Cypher. Need to get him to breakdown some Ty Wild verses, something like on Shwab's Twilight
Still waiting on that femboy cypher reaction lol
@@djmead2701 bro, i thought the same thing. Ty is Wild💀.
I'd recommend "Fiend like me", "The fine print" and "Rest Employed" by the Stupendium- more from the gaming side of nerdcore than the anime side, but all have a message that extends beyond the game, and all are lyrical masterclasses
These are great Stupendiums Cyberpunk Song also has great writing with more political aspects that dont rely on the game too much
Agreed, pretty much everything from Stupendium is AAA (in a good way...not an EA way). That said, it isn't quite as rap-centric but I'd still argue everyone should listen to their song 'Shine Through' at least once! I'd probably throw Slide into the Void and/or Most Fashionable Faction in the mix also (there really are just too many good choices)
@@oneboreddad1019 You can basically recommend anything in the Stupendium discography and rest assured that it's probably good
The Stupendium also did a Spamton song that was INSANE! Legit, AD INFINITUM is one of his best songs, but it's a LOT to break down; especially if you understand the undertones. I would enjoy seeing Knox tackle that one.
Also "The house always wins" if he has not reacted it it yet
Gotta see you dissect the Makima Rap from Rustage and Saa, They went crazy on that
The character that Show Doe plays in this is X Drake, formerly known as Dory Drake. He literally crossed out the name Dory to remove any connection between him and his father. So bars, "For F's sake, X marks the Drake" and "You can find one piece, but you'll never find a Dory." Are both plays on his name.
Also, there is another character named Dory, who in the eyes of the government has been missing for 100 years, and the only people who know his location are the main crew. I don't think the last bar was also supposed to connect to Dory and Braggy, but it did.
Imma continue to bump the idea of Shwabadi’s Beast cyphers, they are still some favs of mine!
Rustage just made a rap with someone named SAA and its incredible. You gotta check it out, its his Makima rap.
Love your breakdowns on these and how you recognize the skill that goes into crafting them- I’m here for it!
The three forks in the road is a reference to that Character, Zoro, and his use of Three Sword Style.
If you think you’re ready for it, you can do last year’s #1 Cypher: Femboy of Anime Cypher aka Femboy Firing Squad by Ham Sandwich.
~_~
Agreed, Femboys of anime Cypher is unironically peak
This is one of my fav nerdcore cyphers, great reaction
AS a huge One Piece fan I'm loving this so much! The first part is about Law, who the captain of the Heart Pirates.
react to more daddyphatsnaps or fabvl or divide
Chainsaw man savage
Shigiraki villain arc
Omni man rap
Moonwalker by fabvl
Rebel bakugo
Demon to a ghost
Vegeta say my name
Or yea just pls keep reacting to nerdcore
One artist that you might be interested is Fabvl, hes not a rapper but he makes some cool stuff
That u.k. flow you talked about was for "Bege" a prominent side character who the one piece creator took inspiration from Al Capone. Thought you might appreciate that reference Knox.
You react to nerdcore, I’m here every time. Love your breakdowns, even if you don’t get every bar your knowledge of the technical end of what is happening is just fantastic.
I love that you stepped up to this side of music. i recommend daddyphatsnaps he has lot of good raps. for example the jotaro rap „Drip“ or the levi rap „Captain“ or kirishima rap „unbreakable“ which is one of his best songs
FUCK YEAH MORE NERDCOR! YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT DPS AKA (DADDY PHAT SNAPS)
I'm glad you give those guys some respect for their writing and stuff and don't just call it off as some 'Catoon-Rap' or stuff :)
If you would like to continue with some Rustage stuff in the kind of same genre.........
I suggest 'Yonko Cypher' and 'Bount by Blood'.
I'd recommend the Makima rap!! It's very recent and both Rustage and Saa went crazy hard on that it's probably his best song of the year so far!
Ain't no way people missed that "Black Air Force Style, Stepping Like CJ" reference to CJ Da Champ, that was cold
Personally my favorite cypher ever beat is so crazy everyone went off
Okay the next Cypher I think you should react to is "The Beasts of Anime" cypher by Shwabadi
i love it when knox pinpoints a one piece bars despite not following the series lol
I love that you're doing this! Please consider doing more like this it's so good
Awesome Reaction Knox,
If you are interested in a more funny but still awesome Cypher I would recommend the Muppets Cypher by The Stupendium. Some of the Nerdcore Guys (like Shwabadi or Connor Quest) are on it as well. A lot of people with awesome writing and rhyme schemes combined with a lot of fun.
We must up vote this! I so want to see and hear Knox dissect the Unlikely Cypher for an hour! No one else pays attention to the beat and the undertones
I’m so glad you did this Cypher man good looks, it has my favorite “nerdcore” artist, Khantrast, you oughta check him out!
Khantrast is so nice. Love his verses
omg yes i've been waiting for this reaction for so long!
if you want a cypher, i would check out ham sandwich "F.F.S." or breeton boi "Sorcery Fight!"
if you want a song, i would check out daddyphatsnaps' "What's Your Type?" or peso pete "Rob Lucci"
I loved this reaction, good man. Next, you need to listen to Twilight by Shwabadi ft Ty Wild and Yayu
We need this one
We gotta get a Warlord Cypher and a Yonko Cypher both by Rustage. Or if you wanna go more old school the Akatsuki or Hokage Cypher by Rustage
God I fucking love nerdcore but especially Rustage and this cypher
Glad to see more "regular rappers" giving the vibes a chance. Some suggestions I could give are DPS, Mir Blackwell, Golden EMP, Breeton Boi, Divide Music, HalaCG, Chi-Chi, and Dan Bull for a good mix on what the community has. Lot of different styles both musically and production wise for a medley of vibes. Also one of my personal favorite up and coming artist is Darrnell Bradley, once he gets his mixing and shit a bit more developed he's gonna be a problem
If we're talking about Nerdcore then for me I feel like you should react to The Femboy Anime Cypher by Hamsandwich the Beasts of Anime Cypher by Shwabadi and Blackbeard! by PE$O PETE
The supernova (or the worst generation) are a band of rookie pirates with a bounty over 100mil. Trafalgar d. water law, Eustass "Captain" kid, Redflag x Drake, Killer, Jewelry Bonney, Mad Monk Urouge, Marshall d. teach (also known as black beard), Basil Hawkins, Scratchmen Apoo, Capote "gang" Bege, Roronoa Zoro and last but not least, Monkey d. luffy. (I was thinking about not putting in Teach and Luffy cuz they're yonkos now lol)
a tuning fork fits the "fork in the road" reference it shapes like a long U
I’m amazed the entire comment section isn’t people explaining the anime references
Caught Basil Hawkins though!😂
This is the best anime cypher probably, sensei cypher from Gameboyjones is another crazy one, oldie though. Cyphers aside there are too many great songs to recommend. I will put out there Heathens from Ham Sandwich featuring Ty Wild, who is a mad talented rapper is all I'm gonna say. Then work from there if you feeling it.
Rustage also does a One Piece dnd and a Isekai dnd campaign on his UA-cam channel and Twitch.
13:15
The guy who's mentioned to have polysyllabic flows, Khantrast, is slick as hell. You've gotta check out more of his stuff. I'd recommend his and Rustage's Beerus rap, it's sick. Here's the link:
ua-cam.com/video/PJSumXlZf6s/v-deo.htmlsi=SKMeNtbMPA30vKMQ
Khan just kinda slays every track imo. I haven't heard anything bad yet.
This one is one of my faves. Glad you got to it!
Great to see you on this would love to see you dive into Dan bulls stuff haha but ya great break down man
Rustage hashira rap cypher please?
Been waiting for this one!!!!
Love seeing you react to nerdcore stuff. Heavily recommending the Femboys of Anime Cypher. Pretty much every verse goes ham, and there are some crazy awesome moments
ok late to see this... but i just love how the alcapone guy just slowed down the cypher for us to get a breath... is sooo good when this happns cause we were into hard, hard, hard... chill and buid up again...
Nice! Some of these verses have stuck in my head since it was released but I always forget how solid everyone was throughout. Not sure if you are wanting to jump on another Rustage right away, but his newest 'Command' is pretty great...features Saa, who by the end has more or less broken most reactors I've watched so far!
We definitely need the cam steady Pokémon raps cyphers
So glad this Channel is back, I hope you react to more anime cyphers
i wish he could understand the references because while most bars go hard they don’t even have a sexual innuendo or anything it’s a reference from the show like “bricked up castle” the guy can literally turn into a castle/fortress that’s his power
Love the way you break them down and explain man
You gotta check out Daddyphatsnaps Tengen Uzui rap "Flashy", dude song trended around the world and the flow crazy and switches
This is my favorite anime cypher
Freeced is also certified dino legend of the community with the ‘dinosaur - hi freeced’ bar from Shao 10/10 lil reference
Let's go! More Nerdcore, I am all for it!
Also, You should react to a Pokemon Cypher called "Masters 8" by Cam Steady, you are going to love it and keep doing you man
11:05 Pete and Bas, The Old Estate flow to start..... Love it
16:55 gear 3 is when luffy goes big by exhaling air into his body parts "whenever you hear me my puches on gear 3" big asf
you should react to rustages album Overflow, his nerdcore is great but the album he put out is something I think you'd love, and be able to understand slightly more cause there isn't many anime references though there are a few
I'm lovin' this, u. Rustage is one of my favorite Nerdcore. Can u react to his Sannin rap and his second Shounen Cyper 🙏💯🔥
Anything Zach B I recommend highly like Broken or Heart and Soul
love rustage, hes got a dungeons and dragons campaign themed around one piece and he recently made a rap about it, flows great and has tons of references.
12:51 Bro said basil, and stg about opposition.Which rhymes to Basil Exposition's name who was an Austin Powers character
hey Knox, great reaction and breakdown
may i suggest you reacting to nerdcore anime you watched?
you can break down bars and references you know, getting a great reaction.
Upchurch Monster Max 1. He’s dropping multiple songs at a time. You’re the best reaction channel
Please do the Stupendium's UNLIKELY CYPHER. It has Shwabadi and Connor Quest too. It is super dense and deep but funny and upbeat.
JUJUTSU KAISEN ( Sorcery Fight ) cypher is the best cypher ever. Please give it a chance.
I think the Allosaur-us line is playing on the British accent pronunciation of "saw us" sound like it has an 'r' like "sawr us"
Yeah man! Excited to see this! Didn’t know you were checking out nerdcore stuff too! Might I recommend Dan Bull’s civilization or Minecraft stuff? I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
War doc,leave them hurt,giving them boots,like I am Marten.
In Doctor Who,John Hurt was called war doc.I only know one person, who caught it,and that's how i know it
I love how he produced shambles as chámbrez
Over for u ,running welcome to the dungeon op,Madara death, like this etc
It's so wild seeing Rustage's work being reacted to because even though I know he gained his following through his music, I primarily know him as the Dungeon Master for One Piece D&D 😂
Let’s gooo! This is what I was waiting for baby! Please react to Rustage Alucard Blood rap , Eren Eyes on Me rap, Gojo Running in Blind rap, Shigaraki Dust rap, and his Light Yagami Fear My Touch rap song next, which are a few of his best rap songs hits🙏. Also love the breakdowns man!
So Shao Do did X Drake who can turn into an Allosaurus and when Drake was a kid his nickname was Dory for the ending line of Shao’s verse. Also he calls his Transformation Diaz for the “if x won’t give it to ya” line.
There's a new nerdcore guy coming up, his name's TheManBeHisLa, he's got killer flow, bars, and a beat. He's got some great One Piece tracks, and a killer Jujutsu Kaisen track
For Shao, his charachter is named Diez(stylized as X) Drake. His father was Diez Barrels who called him Dorry
Love This Reaction.
Giving boots like Marten. Also there was a boot brand named Martens. I think it was popular in the 70s
You should do an analysis in one of TheManBeHisLa's raps! A very underated artist. My favorite is his rap about Luffy's new transformation, Gear 5 (Or Sun God Nika)
The fork that you hit that vibrates and makes sounds only has 2 appendages. I think it's a musical tuner without technology
Some people watch their old stuff and assume that's their entire potential and skillset
Your like a English teacher of rap cos u analyse every bar and I love it😂
If you check these out again check out kings of anime rap cypher it goes hard like really hard
Ooh and for Rustage I’d say the war lords one is a good pick for the next one haha
This is so funny because Knox hasn't watched one piece and there are great references, but Knox is like "three-way blade?" not knowing of Zoro's Santoryu fighting style.
You need to react to the Makima rap "Command" song from Rustage with SAA. This song is soo good
finally, I been hoping knox would do this one since it came out
the fork in the road thing doesnt refer to the prongs but the space between them. Its really weird lol
I think there is actually a war general named Martin so it's a triple on the boot/dock martin bar
I'm back on the nerdcore to recommend checking out Falconshield's This is War series! Love your reactions Knox
Love the breakdown here but also wish you'd known their names going in so you could see the wordplay around their own names and the shade they were throwing at each other.
If you want to check out more Rustage raps that don't lean too much into the anime references, I'd recommend checking out "Okay", "Fallen from Grace", and "Fear My Touch". The first two especially go for a more toned down mood, if you want to check out a whole other side of the man.
