Not gonna lie, I still think about that man and those damn tanks. I was like 9 or 10 when that happened.
A lesson to this, some fights just aren't fair and you'll have to face a challenging situation without being adequately equipped or prepared.
As much as I love Sick Puppies and their sound, I had trouble falling in love with the album 'Connect'. The first time I listened to this song I had trouble getting into it. Getting a fresh listen a couple month later, this song has grown on me significanlty. I hope I get into the rest of 'Connect' as much as I did with "Gun Fight"

As much as I feel like Connect is a better song, I still think Gunfight should be the next single. It has a lot more energy and drive to it than There's No Going Back and Connect do, and would inform people that don't have the album yet that it contains songs with all sorts of themes, energy levels, sounds, etc.

Gunfight definitely should be the next single! It shows a lot better who Sick Puppies are and how they sound. It's energetic, memorable and it will get more airplay. This song will attract more new fans to the fandom. Connect then is not a radio song at all and not suitable for single, in my opinion.

I cannot get out of my head how much the music in this song sounds like Korea by Deftones (when you get to the bridge at least). You almost think this isn't a history lesson, but it could be a reference to drugs, more specifically cocaine and the cartels that bring them across the border into a country that declares them illegal.
