@@SarahBrickel Hi Sarah. I have been classed by different people (vocal coaches) as a coloratura soprano (not my description, if it's wrong!). I like coloratura practice at least up to C6, and sometimes F# (if that is the high note in Queen of the Night). I think I understand your question about what style. Since I wrote I found a full coloratura warm up, concentrating mostly on the quick runs in high head voice and the same lady has another warm up which is kind of in between high voice warm up cum coloratura. Oh dear, you are so kind and approachable so I hope I haven't upset you now. But all this said, if you do produce a warm up for coloratura, I will be more than happy to use it. If I haven't been specific enough about "style", please ask again. Kind regards to you.
I've not sung regularly since March, so to say I'm rusty would be an understatement! However, I've made a vow to myself to start practicing daily again, and after browsing through videos to look for a varied yet challenging video series, I'm so pleased I've come across yours! I'm finding the warm ups in this video in particular really helpful, and having worked through the series from Lesson 1 I'm already feeling confident that it won't take me long to get back to sounding good again! Thank you!
Hi Sarah how does the number exercise actually help? I noticed in your basic exercise videos, you used OO and then EE and then AH. Any reason why you used that particular order? Thanks!
Omg you sing so beautifully 🎶❤️
Cheers lass, that was a good one. I was looking for an advanced training and found it in your video. May God bless you!
I need more lessons on coloratura, Sarah, are you planning to make any videos on this - I apologise if I have not found them yet! Thank you very much.
Good idea! In what style would you like me to focus this on? 😀
