The whole "i love my country" bit was to bury the International Championship and make America out to be the only country that matters, hence his renaming the title as the "American Championship". I also got the impression that it was dual dig at the concept that it should be a "workhorse" title.

Now because they have the Continental Breakfast title, They are trying to turn this into an AEW version of the US title. The fun thing is they are now forcing the Rematch of MJF/OceanSpreay at ALL In, but now it needs to have some sort of situation. They also continue to forget that PAC is the number one contender, even when they mention it on the show.
