I’ve owned a 981 GT4 since new, and absolutely love it. I should be getting an RS this next summer. Says a lot that Porsche stuck with the super solid 3.8 engine from the 981 in the Clubsport instead of the unproven 4.0L from the 718 for reliability in race conditions
That’s true and never gets mentioned, it’s all the 4 liter this the 4 liter that….I’m 981 GT4 since new owner as well, I would get an RS if I was in the market for another level GT4, also the 718 exhaust really sucks
@@jhrodriguez08 That's why I'm trying to find a 2016 Boxster S with low mileage and in one of my 3 favorite colors: blue, white or Red. I would consider silver too. Amazing engine and handling. I would never buy a 718 especially the 4 cylinder, they sound like lawnmowers! LOL! MY friend Paul Deutschman designed the car many years ago as a project for Porsche. It was called the Spexter. He was recently commissioned by Porsche to design the anniversary edition of the Spexter. He designed the T-Rex and Callaway Corvette too including the new Callaway C8. He designs electric public transit systems now too for the European market.
Am I right in saying there's a little bit of creative licence going in here, in that the car reviewed on road was the 718 GT4, whereas the GT4 Clubsport is actually a 981 GT4?
