When I deployed to Iraq I realized the family left behind may actually have it harder. We thank servicemembers as we should, but let me take the opportunity to thank you for YOUR service. No soldier I've ever known was doing it on their own. The support of loved ones is the beating heart of our volunteer military and in my humble opinion a major source of our strength. You sacrifice in a thousand ways that never get enough recognition. Be proud. You earned it.
I taught my daughter ( since she was 2yrs old ) to shake the hand and say thank you to every soldier she sees. It would fill my heart to see her doing it without me having to say anything to her. She is now 20yrs old and still does it. She also now works for the police department.
I hope yall understand, when alot of us thank you for your service....a vast majority of us come from communities that value you. Be it vets kids, active duty family or neighbors we grew to knew who left to fight. There are millions of us who honor you.

I wish i could buy you guys a cup of coffee and really show you how much you are appreciated. But i guess i will have to settle with "Thank You". Love this song and thanks for reacting to it.
I’m an X Aussie Digger. If this song doesn’t bring a lump to ya throat and tears in ya eyes, ya ain’t got feelings. Thank you for your service and all still deployed especially come home safe
I retired from Army service after 25+yrs. I've had the honor of visiting Arlington National Cemetery and have seen the thousands of headstones that represented each and every servicemen buried there. I never saw any combat, but did serve with those that had and im proud to have served with each and every one of them. Again, thanks for your service and for doing these videos.

I'm grateful nothing happened to him but this song still tears me up everytime thinking about the other mothers who's sons and daughters didn't come home.
The Statler Brothers "More Than A Name On A Wall" written by member Jimmie Fortune after visiting the Vietnam Memorial....... I saw her from a distance, as she walked up to the wall In her hand she held some flowers, as her tears began to fall She took out pen and paper as to trace her mem'ries She looked up to heaven, and the words she said were these She said, "Lord my boy was special, and he meant so much to me And Oh, I'd love to see him just one more time you see All I have are the mem'ries and the moments to recall So Lord could you tell him he's more than a name on the wall"

I follow a country singer who has been independent and turned down numerous record deals since 2002. He is now 40 has been on radio stations throughout and is a 22x award winning songwriter and performer. Still no one knows who he is except Michigan. He has performed in other states as well but small bars and venues. He did perform with Joe Diffie and many others and performed numerous times at the CMA music festival in Nashville. His latest song which was written and released to radio was during the pandemic in 2020 and his song got recognition from country singer Carly Pearce. Still independent and still trying to make it past the hometown state crowd. The 1st song he ever wrote was when he was 12 and that song is actually played as bumper music during the NFL games. Can we show all independent artists love? This country artist is Donald Benjamin. He has songs like “I choose the Whiskey” “Moving Mountains ( won world songwriting award during pandemic) and his live version of Ted Nugents Fred Bear performed in Chicago. His band is true patriots as well as his drummer is a United States Marine. I support and love others like Donald Benjamin who dedicated their all to make it and did it on their own. Love my independent artists. They all are American Strongholds. Let me know who else is independent and I’ll follow them. Can you guys do a reaction to one of those songs of Donald Benjamin?
