I’m surprised you didn’t put your nose on the mill stone so you could say you’ve actually put your nose to the grindstone. 🤣 All kidding aside, what a cool windmill! So cool that you were able to go in and explore. I had no idea that you could manually rotate the top to face the wind like that. I totally loved the band organ! You got some great shots of the inner workings from the back. It’s pretty amazing how they turned the clogs like that. Yet another great tour!!!
I missed yet another opportunity! I didn't have any idea that the blades could rotate around and face the wind either. Organ reminded me of the one we saw at the Canalside in Buffalo by the carousel.
No authentic Dutch oven? I will count that as a good thing. It would be cool to see this area in tulip season. I love the L. Frank Baum / Oz statues. It was interesting to see how wooden shoes are made. I expected them to be more hand-crafted. I would guess they probably were at some point in the past. I don't think I would find them comfortable though. Thanks for sharing Holland, Michigan with us!
The guy working the machine says he does make them by hand. Said it takes him about 2 days to make a pair. The experts in the Netherlands take half that time according to him.
We love Holland Michigan. You got a lot more places then we did. The Beach and Library is pretty cool. When we went to Windmill Island it was during the Tulip Festival. There were folks waiting 2-3 hours to get in. So it was weird to see it empty but great for vlogging. Did you get any clogs? Your videos production have really improved! Always fun to watch your videos.
We had made it to Holland Michigan on a Motorcycle trip definitely interesting. Never got to see everything you did, but talk about wanting to go back there 🙂
Been many moons since we have been there. Ironically Abby and I were just talking about going back there. Great location and thanks for taking us on the Tolle Road.
Right across from Milwaukee…which makes you Elton John’s favorite because you’re a madman across the water. Isn’t Big Red the Buckeyes? How can that name be allowed in Michigan? Man, I miss that lake. All that flour makes the kid want to bread homemade chicken tenders. 80 ft long blades. Tall enough for Wilt Chamberlain to shave. Every :15 & :45 you play? Freebird! Was Dutchie Caray, Harry’s wife, there? Flying monkeys!

Nose to the grindstone 😂 good one 👍

That part of Michigan is always beautiful. Great views of the lake.
The voice over at 13:13 had me laughing. 😂
Yeah, I remember you going to the theme park up there last year.

I wanted to see the tulips, but I have NO problem missing those crowds! I did think about jousting the windmill though.

Was just thinking of you the other day when I saw a few motorcycles near the 555.
@@TheTolleRoad a good road to ride for sure. 😁
The tunnel park is very relaxing and the light house is a beautiful landmark. Wish I’m on that yacht. Very nice video. I’m your new subscriber ❤
Thank you very much!
I have been here before! That windmill is huge and cool! Did you get your clogs? Safe travels my friend!
Not yet! I'm not planning on walking in any soggy manure so won't need clogs for a bit.

You need to get Rook into that shoe! Maybe even buy him some clogs.
9:21 wow 😮 you are good at playing it 😂🤪
I am a prodigy.
I love the oz characters!!!!!
Very cool addition there! And how fitting that they are by a library?!

The lake misses you too! I tried to spot fireworks across the lake after a Brewers victory but it must've been an off day.
