Not heaps, every now and again someone will grab some but seems like everyones got too many cactus here haha the prices are a lot lower here than other countries
@CurtsCactus wow, crazy. I see your yard and my mind immediately goes to a local nursery grower-seller, with big money potential. Maybe because your climate allows you to grow outside the prices are lower. You have some awesome blues. Next up for my collection, I'd like to get some blue hybrids.
@@drew1637 ye I think Australia in general isn't a very cactus loving place, so it didn't take long for all the people that do love them to buy all they can haha and so now I feel a lot of people have excess cacti that people don't want unless it's super cheap. Especially in Sydney but I feel it will grow as I'm always seeing new growers joining the community.
I have one very small one but I would only grow it for it's fruit. Because all of my cactus I only grow for the look of them not really the flowers or fruit. So I focus on the actual plant. But I definitely do want dragon fruit in the future to eat 😁
Love listening to you talk about you cacti through my headphones while inspecting my own cacti

Did the globular cacti pollinate the trichos effectively?
None of my trichos actually were successful in producing seed unfortunately. I will try again next time.
Don't you have Dragon fruits plant? They are different species but very similar in fruit and flower. You gonna love them

Are the fruits edible?
@@jonnyv5428 yes they are. Quite sweet, similar to dragon fruit
@@CurtsCactus I've been trying to get a mate for my PC San Pedro after having it for 12 years but just learning PC can't pollinate themselves 😅
@@jonnyv5428 ah right yea I don't think any of these cacti are self pollinating but yea get another one and should be good.
What is the name of the cactus 🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵
Which one? These are all trichocereus genus and variations of the species pachanoi Peruvianus bridgesii Scopulicola and a couple others.
Ah okay thanks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
