Excellent. I have tried this once. I however soaked the oats overnight for easier digestion before blending it with platain. It came out brilliant. I added half a teaspoon of butter to give it more flavour(laugh).

My 6 monthly blood test results are also a lot better. I used to be afraid of fat and protein, in the process I unknowingly overdid carbs. I was advised otherwise and it's been great. My favorite fats are avocado, oilive oil, and organic grass-fed butter. Protein is salmon, mackerel, goat meat, and some eggs. That way, the body's insulin is in check--no inflammation and a clearer mind for extended brain work. Carbs always need to be minimized. I am 64kg now, 5ft 7". It couldn't be better with better skin. I ignored fat and protein for too long. We overdo carbs in Nigeria.

I tried it with just the oat flour because I wasn’t able to get any plantains and it was wonderful! Nice and bouncy...melts in your mouth when dipped in my chicken curry stew 🍲. You do have to keep stirring for several minutes for it to form into a sticky ball. Before I tore a piece of fufu for dipping, I wet my hands in water first and it worked perfectly!
That's the way it works. Before eating fufu or swallow, you need to wash your hands and make sure it's clean and left wet, if not the swallow sticks to your fingers and you wouldn't like it.

Many thanks for this exciting recipe. I am Jamaican & I do it the same way but I add coconut milk or almond milk as well as condense milk with a dash of cinnamon & nutmeg. Then I add raisins & simmer for 5 mins. However fufu is better if you are diabetic.

Ghanaians eat fufu with soup only. There are many types of soup such as palm nut soup, peanut butter soup, lift soup and countless other types of soup. Fufu is usually swallowed. I feel unease when I see someone chewing fufu before being swallowed. Peanut butter will have to be mixed with water and cooked very well separately. It is then added to the soup and cooked further well.
Thanks for sharing. I love your recipe but putting hot food in a clingfilm is NOT Healthy. You can put a little bit of water in the bowl before dishing the food so you can shape it as you want.

Well in Jamaica how I cook porridge is like this I blend oats planting cinnamon grated nutmeg salt a little sugar with coconut milk all together

Pls de lylon is nt healthy. Bcos de chemicals in de Lyon ll absorb into de food which ll make it unhealthy.... Remember anything Rubber, plastic or Lyon, nt healthy to cover wit hot food.. ...... Is cancer prone...etc etc etc etc..

Ghanaians eat fufu with soup only. There are many types of soup such as palm nut soup, peanut butter soup, lift soup and countless other types of soup. Fufu is usually swallowed. I feel unease when I see someone chewing fufu before being swallowed. Peanut butter will have to be mixed with water and cooked very well separately. It is then added to the soup and cooked further well.
What if you don't have a nonstick pot available, is this not going to get burnt and the food wasted?

Thanks for sharing. I love your recipe but putting hot food in a clingfilm is NOT Healthy. You can put a little bit of water in the bowl before dishing the food so you can shape it as you want.
