It’s funny because you were saying the stress pattern correctly for Sakura in the beginning, and then you got convinced that you had been saying it incorrectly that whole time. In Japanese, it is SA-ku-ra, but since you’re saying it with an accent, it sounds more natural in English to change the stress pattern to sa-KU-ra.

regarding a better alternative to trees, thats one reason why hemp was illegalized and is now being pushed to be legalized, not just the drug aspect. hemp makes a good textile
Hemp makes good paper too! You can also plant hemp in Europe and you'd need less resources than for cotton or wood

I know it's a year later but I vibe with this comment. I am definitely very close to Morphy's age (i just turned 30) so I can't say it's a dad vibe exactly, but I'll go with brother! Either way, the most comforting and safe voice on UA-cam, hands down.

I live in a foresty neighborhood and there are a lot of fallen branches, it would be cool if people used fallen trees for paper instead of live ones

Thank you Morph - really enjoyed this, even if the game was a little slow-paced at times. The ascetic is really cozy, and I would love to see the whole story of Nikko - if you have the time and interest to do a follow-on playthrough.

After you talked about paper and cutting down trees etc., I fell down a rabbit hole of all the different alternative things you can make paper out of like bamboo or cotton and it's pretty cool! I also saw a video about how to make recycled paper out of junk mail or other random papers you have lying around and now I wanna try it! It'd be so fun (and more sustainable ofc), instead of just throwing it all away.
This was fun! Cannot wait for the next one :).

Hey @MadMorph fellow allergic to the world here 👋 Truly everything under the sun, nature, food, metal aand animals, especially my cat's. I also had them while growing up and suddenly I was allergic in my teens. But instead of getting rid of my cat's I got rid of my doctor. Antihistamine helps, but there's a proper solution for it: Desensitization! You need to get cat proteins injected for a few years (first every week for 3 months, then once every month for about 2 1/2 years) It makes you feel a little like you have the flue but just for the day and after a month I barely felt it. I also did cat's and dust mites at the same time but it worked great. Now I'm 80% less allergic to both and especially my own cat's. I have 5 and they can even sleep in my bed 😻 Although I wash my bed every week and don't have carpets ( I also have several types of asthma 😏) but that's nothing compared to coughing blood like before. You could check your insurance, they usually pay...

haha I live really rural and you actually cant cut the wood the same week it needs to cure for over a year before its safe for the wood stove but I swear all I ever do is spend my summer chopping, and stacking wood then moving it and cleaning the wood stove only to spend the winter starting the fire every morning with kindling and matches! its so crazy! but I really love it! now that Im disabled I cant and I set the house on fire a few weeks ago but its certainly still a thing, we cook over the stove, grow and can all our own food, raise hundreds of animals and go to markets! its so amazing! and I mean we still have access to heat it just doesnt work with the extreme weather here and we arent about to freeze or pay those kind of bills lmao

There actually is a pretty great alternative to wood paper - hemp paper. But also, you can easily recycle paper at home and make new paper out of it if you have an old blender, it's pretty fun activity to do

I have fibromyalgia and I also have gluten intolerance i had tried so many things and figured hey why not try cutting out gluten and that helped me a lot (it may not help everyone with fibro we all have different bodies) i cheat from time to time when i think it's worth it because I always pay for it later with a feeling similar to the flu minus the fever but achy all over. I swear after listening and watching these videos we are twins hahahaha
How doctors have acted about my fibromyalgia is "Well it's just fibro..." Or "Yep, you have it. Bye!" It's like the one thing doctors just leave you to deal with it yourself and just kinda guess what you need to do. 🥴 I wish you peace and pain relief 💚
