  • Hey everyone, Jared here from Stryker Boats, and I'm thrilled to share our recent test run with the new ProJet 420. Powered by the Tohatsu 50/35, this jet boat delivered an exhilarating performance on the water. From tight turns to cruising at low speeds, it handled like a dream.
One standout feature is the fully welded one-piece aluminum transom, eliminating the need for wood and ensuring durability for years to come. Plus, with heavy-duty D rings and removable top tubes, versatility is at your fingertips.
But what truly sets the ProJet 420 apart is its Stryker Shield tube material, offering unparalleled protection against debris and obstacles. With a robust 1.8 mil German Mehler fabric, this boat is built to withstand the toughest conditions.
Whether you're navigating through rivers or exploring open waters, the ProJet 420 is ready for the challenge. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and adventures with Stryker Boats!

i love the 420, been looking at the boats for a while now, i live the newfoundland and need to travel up the bay but the tides drop to low for heavy boats can you tell me about what the minimum water depth i would need to use the 420, i would think having a jet outboard would help... also 2 adults and 1 small child total weight 500lbs

Which one of the stryker pro line up is sea worthy? Good for choppy water, 1-2 feet of waves, and surf launch?

If you are not currently looking at RIB, I would recommend the PRO series as they are extremely heavy duty and built for the harshest.

Hi I am beginner boating enthusiast from maple ridge.
I am interested in the the stryker boats.
    Which one do you recommend.
Ideally 3-4 for light weight people.

Hi, For 3 to 4 people and if you have somebody who can assist you setting it up like a teenager or another adult the 380 or 420 would be the ones to consider. I would also be looking at a 20 hp if I was looking for any sort of performance, including light towing of tubes.
Depending on what you’re looking to do with the boat would be how I would decide, gas or electric, personally at this point, the electric motors aren’t quite there to deliver enough performance to get the boat to plane without any enormous amount of batteries being brought, which defeats the purpose. The 20 hp is probably the most economical solution and will give you a bit of everything… lightweight, efficient, portable and reliable. ⚓️💯

Do you guys offer these additional top tubbing for 320 as accessories?

No, we don’t unfortunately. These require 20 D rings for the attachment of these to the tube. These are standard equipment on the
JETS but they aren’t offered on any other model.

A 16' all-welded aluminum boat is 690 pounds, so real real light this inflatable! I guess air is lighter than heavy-gauge aluminum is.

Beautiful boats! What are the top tubes for?

Extra floatation, and also more side-height (to keep waves/chop off better). Inflatable boats are very low to the water, fortunately or unfortunately.
