This week, I created one of my most requested monsters so far! I mentioned Chupacabra Mermaids in a video about a year ago and finally decided to bring the spooky creatures to life with the help of Hero Forge.

No joke this man does the best water dioramas.
Pure awsomness
He does a great job, but "Thalasso hobbyer" is non plus ultra.
@@mg1342mg 100%. Thalasso does massive resin builds.
@@mg1342mg
Mini bricks channel does excellent water dioramas
@@mg1342mg Thalasso Hobbyer is how I found this channel (in the recommended video section)
I'd love to see you create a aquarium scene with something lurking in the depth. Like a scene at seaworld with a twist.
That would be sick
Abandoned SeaWorld cryptid sounds creepily awesome.
THAT WOULD BE FUN TO SEE
he kinda did that with the hot spring diorama
Kinda sounds like the octopus guy (I forgot his name) who was first introduced in the bottom of a pool 😂
"Unfortunately for the creatures, there were only 11 of them, and Leo's revolvers were fully loaded . . ." What a great line.
Your storytelling with that soothing voice of yours adds so much to this already breathtaking work of art.😮
Is there any meat left on the bone lol?
Nah fr tho this guy should do podcasts and stuff, like Wild West true crime would be fitting
The ridges actually give kind of a Mayan flavor, like the reliefs on a temple. They are low enough they don't really detract from the figures.
If Leo ever made a book of all the things he saw in his life I would buy it in a heart beat
It would have make the water look more shallow, but would adding terrain to the bottom of the jar have helped with hiding the ridges? Hindsight being 20/20 and all of that... These WIW dioramas are always so much fun to watch, and hear the little stories behind the scenes.
The Wild Imaginary West has become one of my favorite pieces of fiction.
Thanks for sharing it with us!
We need a full timeline of Leo's adventures, and eventually a movie / animation
This is now my favorite pour. Absolutely nothing lost below the surface. Aaaand once again, time vanished rapidly in the WIW. Nine minutes felt like four.
I love the way you arranged the chups into one creepy mass
I am OBSESSED with this one. My wife and I watch all your videos and love them, but this project especially spoke to me. It’s so dynamic in the posing of the minis, I love the round shape of the diorama, and I can see the story so clearly even at a glance. Love it!
My gid, there has never been something I've wanted to make a DnD world out of so much before, the wild imaginary west universe you're creating is truly so so amazing, and creation-inspiring!! (edited for spelling mistake)
I think you've hit the jackpot with the Imaginary Wild West. I enjoy it as a setting immensely. Another cryptic-like creature you could use in the future would be the Thunderbird, lots of potential for over-zealous bandits who get their socks rocked when they try to steal its eggs or feathers or whatever. Always love these dioramas!
A new addition to the Wild Imaginary West is always welcome! This came out beautifully!
Oh WOW! To my imagination it feels like the Chupacabra Merfolk are like the kins of Scylla the Sea Beast.
Oh, the round mold was such a good move. This looks incredible!
Great project! Always enjoyable to see editions to the Imaginary West.
Peter Brown’s videos are the best to watch if you want to see resin experiments.
I would still love to see you make a fantasy town alongside the dragon attacking the tavern it was so cool
those ridges make the final diorama more home mande and down to earth like I could take a random bottle and do the same. its actually very good
I NEED an illustrated book about the Adventures of Leo in the Wild Imaginary West! This is awesome.
I would love to see a series with great writing based on the stories you’ve told and the scenarios you’ve made.
Hell yeah, I've been waiting for the chupacabra mermaids for forever
I love hero forge and your display of the new kitbashing feature made me re-up my pro subscription!
i love the chupacabra mermaids. awesome monster design!
Fantastic on many levels as usual.
I’d say that this resin pour with technique and clarity you achieved makes this the best pour you’ve ever done. 🏆💪!
Another amazing video. Always enjoy your work.
Probably the best diorama yet!
These are one of my favourite things to get warm in bed and watch this at the end of a long day. Thank you
This is one of my favorite dioramas that you have made!
Outstanding as always, love your builds and the world they occupy! nothing more to add except just brilliant!
I'd love a video going though all the dioramas in this series
Please create a mad scientists lab, where he has loads of wet specimens in huge vats etc. Maybe trying to reanimate a monster like Frankenstein!
Glad to see Leo is back the legend that he is.
Super cool. Great job on the diorama.
Looks good. Love the backstory surprised you didn’t include some diffuse LEDs to light it up from the bottom.
You've got some mad skills, brother.
Always a joy when you build The Imaginary Wild West❤
Love this build.
In my mind, if you added a lantern on the boat and 2 fishing lines you can ad lights.
Using the fishing lines as + and - .
Would ad extra depth to the water.
But, just an idea, i could not build what you are building.
Super great job, as always.
Finally! I was wondering if Chupacabras would make their debut
If you pour the resin from the vacuum container down a chopstick or something similar (making sure the tip is submerged in the receiving container), it should help prevent bubbles.
The wild imaginary West would make a great TTRPG setting. Would love to see you work with a writer or someone and make a game around this
Bro this shit is so tight, I'd love for a book of creatures/notable figures/locations/lore for this world
No way he actually did it. HECK YEAH!!!
Such amazing work, as always. KUDOS TO YOU, GOOD SIR!
Loving this project!!! Looks amazing 😊😊😊
I have been putting minis together for 20+ years. You make it all look so darn easy. Awesome!
Have you ever thought about making a diorama of wild horses and buffalo being chased by either cowboys or Native Americans on mechanized horses or horses with mechanized bits on them? Might be an interesting addition to your Imaginary Wild West set.
I love this monster/wild west you have created! I would so watch a movie or tv series based on it!
very cool, love water attack scene
Amazing dioramas! Chupacabras and mermaids scare me by themselves so this gave me goosebumps!
I feel like Captain Nemo and the Nautilus would fit right into your imaginary wild west and he and Leo would get along well, or be arch enemies.
FINALLY! And in a fun and interesting way too!
you should line the bottom of the next resin diorama with small LEDs to illuminate the resin from the bottom
I feel this is the one time having bubbles in the resin would have added detail of movement from the creatures. Looks good though.
Videos like this is what I need in life. Keep doing what you’re doing Boyle
Another Fine Job Mate 😂 Turned out amazing 👏
Mint ! Great diorama there
Yet again brilliant work, 🙏🙏🙏
That line about eating goats goes HARD.
Resin is fickle but you seem to be getting quite good at it!
In-freaking-sane! I love it!
Great, even more reasons to buy a resin/3D printer. That's exactly what I need!
Great video, as always.
Been here since 2021-22…. It’s AMAZING you are on the cusp of 1 million followers! Broooooo absolutely amazing!!!!
That is terrifying! 😮
Fantastic! 😁
Wow. The black 4.0 definitely looked like a black hole in this video 😂👍
I have been waiting for so long for this one and you didn't disappoint one tiny bit. This is one of my new favorites with in the top five or ten, Leo is cool and the chupacabra mermaids are amazing. Top Notch. 👍👍👍
Can't wait to play the wild imaginary west as a pen & paper rpg one day
Great work, as always.
Man someone needs to turn your universe into a video game cuz I would play it to death😊
You should try and make a giant spider crab diorama
The chubacabraids are a great monster.
You had me at chupacabra!
Have you ever thought about doing a wildland firefighter diorama
So excited for this! Is there any possibility of exploring different “chupacabra” theories in the future?👀
I would leave some bubbles to simulate movements
i really like the ridges at the bottom they remind me of that giant water barrel in rango.
I absolutely LOVE your WIW series. I had planned to write a book a few years before I found your channel about this exact setting - Cowboys in a 'oilpunk' world of strange, fantastical, dangerous creatures. Can't do that now because you basically beat me to it, so I really enjoy watching you make these dioramas. Please keep them coming!!
Edit: I've never worked with epoxy before, but would you be able to sand/polish out those ridges at the bottom?
This is really frigging cool
Awesome as usual.
Awesome!!!
idea:
a cowboy being hunted on the forest by a creature, and behind the creture there's a group of cowboys coming out behind the trees
great work
Certified Merma-Capra moment
It reminds me of that creepy lighthouse movie Cold Skin with Ray Stevenson, although the amphibious creatures had legs.
Leo is a badass. aslo he called it good!
This Leo feller sounds like he knows a few things that'd make fer some grade A dioramas
I've been missing some of your stories lately dude. Also when is your book coming out. Can't wait to experience a full length tale from the wild imaginary west 👍
I like these odds.
This is so awesome😮
Hey…can u do a Hunt:Showdown Diorama🤔
Wicked diarama 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Leo is such a badass.
Suggestion to turn the jar ripples into a plus. Add lights to the base in a way that they shine through the ripples from the jar and add more ripples to the surface and resin around the chupacabra mermaids. It might make the water look more turbulent. Also, I think, for this one, getting rid of the bubbles might have been the wrong idea. All the thrashing will have bubbles all around them. But that is just my opinion and it's probably wrong. I don't have the talent to do this and I am probably thinking way too literally about the scene.
wish your viedo was long becourse cant stop watch them
Very cool.
Sea Chupacabra implies the existence of the elusive Sea Goat 🤔
Awesome
Awesome!
"Get back ya darn sea Cai-yoates."
