Pastors have repacked Christ and became the Antichrist. Church is a cult and church members worship their pastors who were appointed by devil to lead believers astray. Pastors are the self proclaimed dictators who maintain the order in their demonic church kingdom by excommunicating prophets, so that no one will turn to God. I was raised Catholic...never was encourage to read the word. Ever time i went to confession to confess my sin to a sinful being like me, i told him the same sin i committed the week before. I was required to repeat Hail Marys...but never had a change of heart. I joined a Pentecostal church for so many years...saw many jump too much and others fall on the floor when they got smacked on the forehead, but never had a change of heart. The Lord lead me to the Adventist church, they gave me bible studies and encouraged me to study the word on a daily basis, guided me, taught me, spirit filled messages with many scriptures to back up the message. Will the Adventist church save me? No! The changed heart and personal relationship with God will. I still attend the church. Praise God! Thank you pastor Doug! 🙏

Hi Michele, just so you know the SDA in support abortion and actually practice it too . Their SDA hospitals will perform abortions for any reason . What about the commandment thou shall not kill' ? Jeremiah 1:5 God said I knew you when I formed you in the womb and sanctified thee . God created those babies and SDA doctors and nurses murder them for money . They are the only religious group that practice this wickedness !

I was born a Lutheran, then exploring Pentacostal, Charismatic and anything in between. Prior to Y2K, I started to get interested in end time topics. Attended two end times seminars from two different churches, didn't get much detail at all. The preachers said most of Revelation chapters was slated for the future, so don't worry about the beast, the mark of the beast, etc. That left many big questions UNANSWERED! Then one day, I was given a Bible study guide from a relative. I was struck. Everything was explained in the Bible after all!! Through Adventist church I was taught to let the Bible interpret for itself....to compare verse with verses...here a little, there a little....both from the Old and New Testaments.
Using that principles, I believe the Bible is very clear who the beast is, what the mark of the beast is, who the Babylon is....
Study the Bible and let the Bible interpret for itself.

Babylon is in Iran. Yet Mystery Babylon is Catholicism. The mark of the beast we haven’t seen yet today but we have seen predecessors to it.

@@TheProrage509 Good point. Letting the Bible interpret for itself, we should study the start of Babel in Genesis 11 and the literal Babylon kingdom in the book of Daniel (and Jeremiah and Isaiah, etc). This study will help us in understanding the Mystery Babylon of Revelation 17.
I pray for every concerned individual to earnestly study Revelation 13 as a whole to identify the (sea) beast, his mark, the earth beast, his image, 666, etc. Let the Bible interpret for itself, can't stress this enough. The many different interpretations out there from various preachers are not helpful. No wonder, for every truth of God, Satan provides counterfeit version.
The beast that John saw in revelation are the same that Daniel saw. The Adventist church teaches that Jesus is an angel and He is not He is God Jehovah the Great I’am in the flesh. Hebrews 1. Isaiah 9:6, Zechariah 10:12, Zechariah 13:6
I was born as Pentecost and raised up as Baptist and now I am Seventh Day Adventist. If Seventh Day Adventist is a cult, why would I join this Church at first place.
Seventh Day Adventist beliefs are closest to the Bible, that's why I joined this Church.
I heard so many people talking about Seventh Day Adventist in a very negative way but after I experienced for myself, God opened my eyes.

I grew up in Methodist my grandpa is a pastor but I end up baptised to S.D.A in 1996. I have my up and down but I still believe in SDA no matter how sinner I am. I know God answer my prayers.
Hebrew 4 and Colossians 2:16 buries all adventists. Stop following a false prophet when 1 Timothy 2:12 and 1 Corinthians 14:34 clearly says women can’t be pastors nor teach men or even speak in the church it is disgraceful 😢

Pastor Doug, please please please make this a video for the two videos against SDA's that Allen Parr made on his channel The Beat. He made what appears to be very strong cases (though easily corrected through scripture) that can lead many astray.

I'm not Adventist, but I went to school at the Adventist schools and attended the churches for many years singing and ministering in them as a Pentecostal who loved God deeply. In 2020 the Lord arrested my heart and told me I needed to keep the Sabbath holy.
What I didn't realise was that there was a mass migration of Sunday worshippers heading back to Sabbath keeping.
What is more is that about a year ago, I had a dream where I saw many other denominations of Christianity and God said to me in the dream that of all of them, He was most pleased with the SDA church. I was troubled for a while but I soon thought about it and realised just why.
No denomination is perfect, but I do believe Adventist are the most Biblical of them all and that makes them real Christians. I attend a local Adventist church now along with my Nazarene church.

I too was a Baptist growing up and when I became an adult, I went to many other Sunday churches, I felt something was missing. Then my sister invited me to a Revelation seminar and wow my eyes were open! I was rebaptized as an SDA and will forever be! I am a Bible Loving Christian. I go by the Bible Only!

Same with me!! I was a born again Bible reading/memorizing Christian. I was memorizing Joshua 1:8 about how God‘s law brings success and asked God to show me as I was moving away to college in 1980. I met a loving kind Christian girl who was studying to become a seventh day Adventist… She had a profound effect on my life and I began to realize I had to study it out for myself not listen to what other people said. I could not find anywhere in scripture for Sunday to be the day to worship on. But there was plenty of evidence that the Sabbath that God made at creation and memorialized at the end of the first seven day week was the true day of worship that He blesses!

Most Christians believe that Saturday is the Sabbath, so the SDA needs to stop with this accusation. You want to go to church on Saturday, that's fine but when you condemn the rest of Christianity as children of the devil, that's the problem and that is a terrible sin.
@@itsopinion7430 Sorry, they didn't condemn, only pointed out they believe that the Sabbath is on Saturday. Not all religions believe that and there's many, many other religions that use the bible and verses in it to try and prove the sabbath was changed to Sunday. As a Seventh day Adventist we don't condemn anyone for that no resting on the Sabbath day. If they feel condemned it's their conscious speaking to them perhaps, like mine did in the beginning
I am a Messianic so we are very similar on many levels, so I learn a lot from your videos. There are some differences, but like Walter says, nothing is salvation issues. The SDA is definitely blessed for keeping Shabbat and you can see that.

I was raised a Roman Catholic. In my early 20’s, I was introduced to the SDA church by a customer that brought shoes from the store I worked at, but refused to come and purchase them from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. I pushed her to explain why she refused to buy or sell, during Sabbath! She invited me to a Revelation seminar about Bible prophecy the she was playing the Oregon for. I attended the entire seminar and the rest as they say, is history!
I am now the head elder at an SDA church in Guam.

Just to clean up my previous typos; The young lady I helped to order a pair of shoes for refused to come in on Friday evening when the shipment arrived. I pressed her as to why she would not pay until anytime after sunset Saturday. She was hesitant to explain but on my further insistence she informed me that she does not buy or sell on the Sabbath Day! I informed her that I had heard of “ Black Sabbath” but never heard of a Sabbath Day! She said that was unfortunate, and said I should know about “The Sabbath”! She then insisted that I attend the Revelation of Bible prophecy seminar that she was the piano/organ player for. I agreed to go out of curiosity and ended up attending all 15 messages!
That happened in California during the early 90’s. I am currently the Head Elder at an SDA clinic church on Guam USA! 🇬🇺🇺🇸

Although I am not affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church, I in no way find them to be the slightest bit cult like.
I actually admire their work in teaching the gospel. I do believe that the original and only sabbath is on the 7th day and if that indeed was actually what we know as Saturday today then yes Saturday is the sabbath.
It is my opinion that if you are a Holy-Bible-Based Church and you have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and teach his gospel then you are a Christian Church period. We may not 100% agree on every interpretation but we are Christians. We need to start practicing what was preached.
That requires that FELLOW CHRISTIANS STOP ARGUING WITH EACH OTHER. That is doing the bidding of Lucifer. Fight against him in the name of Jesus not agains ourselves!
All too often I see Christians insulting/attacking other Christians. Why are we arguing with and attacking the saved?
We should all be supportive of anyone and everyone who supports and defends the Holy Scriptures in the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation. To me those Christians who slander others are not doing so under the words of Jesus Christ but actually are doing the work of the devil while he is laughing.
I admire Doug Batchelor and Mark Fox of Amazing Prophecies, JD Farag, and enjoy scripture from Lion of Judah who make short scripture based videos to inspire us as Christians. So please stop fighting each other and instead support each other in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

This Baptist thinks we should not judge those who are saved through Christ our Lord, What!!! you say that they are not saved. I say though shall not judge is exactly what is being done here. Read and pray for biblical truths PLEASE READ Romans 14 (not just 1 or 2 verses but the chapter) Then apply Galatians 3, We who are in Christ are the promised seed of Abraham.
When I finally got a bible from a priest and started reading it, I came across the Sabbath and many other truths of the Bible I asked God who teaches the Bible and I went to a seminar they were teaching the Word of God and everything I have read it was like a burden was taken of my shoulders. You see I was raised in the Catholic Church and education and they were not teaching the truth and I went to the SDA church my parents were mad at me and my husband said he would leave me but I said the LORD led me and the Holy Spirit brought me into the SDA church and that was 31 years ago and never looked back.

I was raised Catholic,10 years in Catholic schools even. I thought Sunday was the Sabbath, and wondered why calendars had it as the first day of the week! I was atheist several years as teenager to about twenty. When I actually started reading the Bible, I could see no correlation to Catholicism there. It was still many years later before I realized the Sabbath truth because preachers are trained to argue against it so well.
This is why we are to read on our own, not blindly accept what 'teachers' tell us to believe. I think watering down the Bible is why preachers are arguing for gay marriage, abortion, and other things labeled abominations in the Bible. I'm not good with words, so I'll stop here.

Pastor Doug I commend you. You had an open discussion with an Evangelical doctor who studies the Bible not to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, but to contradict the Bible. I grew up as 7th Day Adventist but when I came of age I decided to continue as an 7th Day Adventist not because its the right thing to do or what my parents want of me but because I studied and know that the 7th Day Adventist movement have the complete truth.
And if you live by the Bible, people will notice and will ask questions and learn who 7th Day Adventists are from an 7th Day Adventist person instead of learning from people like the person in this video.
I work in a very hostile environment and some of my collogues have said that I am too truthful and because of that a door opened up for me to spread the word of God in a place where religious conversations are frowned upon. Even upper management are intrigued by the differences the 7th Day Adventist movement show.
So stay strong, don't loose faith and trust in the Lord. Amen

SDA is an exclusive club, you gotta sign up, just like the Elks Club, or VFW. Yeah, trust and believe, you got that part right. The rest of it, not so much. You say trust and believe in God, that is correct and that's it, not rules. You are condemned by your own rules.

There's 100+ 7th say sabbath keeping denominations by the way. If Abraham and Jacob and Jesus kept sabbath I will and do everything else God says we must do. Jesus did the works of his father so we too much feed the poor, honour parents, keep sabbath, don't like, don't steal, don't convet but there are other laws/ statues which are the character of Jesus. Our body is a temple. How do you keep it clean. How can you be holy is it break any commandments? You can't. We can't keep them- only Jesus helps us to keep them due o his victory on the cross and we are all sinners clothed in His righteousness- saved by grace ( if we obey as God said if you love me, keep my commandments- which ones? ). It's high time to wake out of slumber. If you watch the video, you know the lies are false. Many helped Noah build the ark but they decided not to enter as he looked crazy. God only has a remnant and the way is narrow. It's not come as you are and stay as you are . It's gone and let me fill you up with my spirit and transform you by the renewing of your mind.
I know pastor Doug since I was a kid, my dad did a brief training on Bible and he used to receive letters and post cards from him. After so many years, I didn't even imagine to stumble upon pastor Doug again while searching to learn about the SDA (You've become older 🧓 than what I have seen in your pictures back then! Haha!) I joined the SDA church years ago AFTER FURIOUSLY TRYING AND FAILING to figure out how to get out of keeping the Sabbath, and thus, keep my job I'd had for several years.
I ended up losing my job because of refusing to work on the Sabbath but won an Arbitration hearing two years later. The corporation had to rehire me, pay me for two years lost wages, benefits, retirement, etc., plus they ended up promoting me, gave me a raise, and a new position in a different department which doesn't work on Saturdays. That was 2008, and I just had my 25th work anniversary. They tried to mess with my Sabbath over the years, but I always stood strong and they always backed down.
Did I know all this would happen before they fired me? Nope. That's how God works. Our job is to step into the Red Sea and His job it to part the water for us.

I want to ask Gracious Great God to grant you a job where you may labor and continue to keep a peace of mind with your loving Lord and sweet Savior. You need not be down and out because of the bad deeds of other people. Incidentally, Gracious Great God did not dismiss you from job to poverty. You did not know you went into the wrong job. I am not a member of the SDA Denomination but I listen to Pastor Doug and have been and continue to be blessed as I have learned to let the Scriptures interpret the Scriptures. I am thankful for the Sabbath that was made for me, And so very thankful my body (Temple) is in much better shape and much healthier after learning The difference between the clean and the unclean. Pastor Doug, my Dad and I watched this video last week at his home, and I am watching it again at home again. Thanks again for doing this. I had seen these two and was horrified at what they were saying! I tried to respond in comments. I am glad YOU are officially responding. I grew up kind of heinz-57 regarding denominations. As an adult spent most of my adult years as Baptist. Once I found Hood View SDA in Boring--I found my church home. I became a SDA believer in Oct. 2009 by being baptized into the church!
My younger sister and our Dad made this decision in December 2019--and were both baptized on 12/31/ at a special candlelight service. IT was awesome. NOW we watch church online due to Covid-19. How do you reconcile Revelation 22:18-19 and Ellen G White being a "required" study in combination with the Bible in your denomination? As a member, could I study the Bible alone and not be required to incorporate the EGW materials your denomination provides at every gathering? I know the answer but many do not nor did you touch on that in this video. Knowing YHWH doesn't need Ellen's/man's help, I rely solely on Him and Him alone and can't support a denomination that doesn't support that.
And the sabbath being changed to Sunday was NOT "based on a myth" like he states here. History clearly shows it was an intentional move by satan through Constantine to manipulate us into sun god worship aka satan himself.

I am a Seventh-day Adventist, but you must be careful when saying that all SDAs are kind. In my church, Pathfinder officers tend to abuse their authority and ignore one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, kindness.
Most officers yell at members genuinely! I am an SDA, and I see this as a major problem.

This was such an amazing sermon, I am a Seventh Day Adventist myself, and also have many more questions about my own religion. I admire when I watch sermons like these that answer my questions in the most simple, self-explanatory, yet, detailed way. I have from other churches, and we always talk about the differences in our religions. I try to explain to them in the best possible way of what I know, and what I believe, but I still find myself not knowing answers to some questions that they ask me. When he was quoting Colossians, He stopped short of reading Colossians 2:16, which is what the other fella was talking about. He should also have mentioned Gal 4:9, Romans 14, And Heb chapter 4. Every Christian who is resting on the finished work of Christ for His salvation, will experience a Sabbath life, not just the keeping of a day. The writer of Hebrews explains this in saying "There remains therefore a rest for the people of God". Stop trying to earn salvation, and rest on the finished work of Christ, and you wont just have the Sabbath shadow, but you will have the sustance which is, Christ and His salvation. ( Colossians 2:16 )
I would like to ask SDA this, on what day do you take your tithe to your church ? of course you will answer on the Sabbath, but my friend you are taking it on the wrong day. I was raised a Catholic, and had a falling out with my family roughly 6 years after I married my Adventist husband.
In my depressed state, I cried to God to answer my prayer and heal my heart. Out of a random impulse, I reached for my husband's Bible and told myself that I would open it to any random page and that the first thing I saw would be God's answer for me.
When I tell you I fell to my knees after my eyes landed on the first text I saw. I shivered -- this old book just spoke to me, answered my question, and removed the weight and sadness from my shoulders. Thus I concluded that whatever it said must be true and correct, for it is a living book.
From that day forward, I promised to uphold whatever the Bible said. I stripped of all my jewelry, I immediately changed my diet, I went with my husband to Sabbath services -- even in Sabbath attire.
I was baptized 6 months later after secretly studying the Bible. Can't describe my husband's surprise when I told him I wanted to be baptized, since he always kept the topic of religion at an arm's length because I was an argumentative catholic 😅

I was born and raised a Catholic. When I searched for God with all my heart (Jeremiah 29:13) he lead me to study with the Mormons, and the Jehovah's Witness. Hello pastor, I am currently a student at Loma Linda University. I’m glad I came across this video of yours because it has given me clarity and peace. I am always hesitant to explain Adventism to non-Adventists because of this stigma of being a “cult”. I realize I should not be hesitant to share beliefs if I truly believe them. Often times I do not want to spend an extended length of time to explain Adventist beliefs because of how sensitive a topic religion can be as well as how deep and controversial conversations about religion can get. However, after watching this video, I feel more confident to stand up for my own beliefs. If you somehow read this comment, I want to relay that I am thankful.

Even the catholic church has stated that if anyone wants to follow the scripture the most closely then they should become Seventh Day Adventist. The Catholic church has also admitted to changing the sabbath to Sunday by their own authority as well. So unless you have biblical proof to back up your claims (there aren’t any because I’ve studied many other religions) then I’m sure you know well what the consequences are of leading others astray from God’s holy word.

I'm new to SDA but I have read most of the Bible now, the New Testament several times. I also pray in spirit and truth and the Holy Spirit has confirmed to me that God wants us to keep all His commandments. I'm not trying to knock other denominations, but I think SDA is the most biblically literate denomination out of all denominations. Especially when it comes to bible prophecy. I've learned things in the SDA church that I would have never learned anywhere else. Many churches only touch on surface level topics in the Bible, but SDAs get really deep into hard topics that I wish other churches would touch on.

Not knowing if the gentlemen are saved is an honest and Biblical answer. We believe the Lord judges according to one’s knowledge and only God knows the heart. Therefore, many people in heaven will not be Seventh-day Adventists (SDA was not founded until 19th century!) However, it is dangerous if we know the truth yet refuse to follow.

I started going to a SDA church 2 month ago and it was the best decision I made. The people who go there are very friendly. The church is not afraid to preach the end times. Wed night they have a prophecy class and are studying the book Daniel. I wanted to go to a Sabbath church and I am preparing to be baptised. It's not a cult, it's a true church..

I was born catholic. Baptized as a baby in a catholic church. My parents became SDA a few months later and dedicated me to SDA church as a baby. I got baptized at age 12 or 13. But i faced alot of chalenges and trials as a teen ager. Backsliden, tried to be catholic again, went to other denominations, i wont mention i dont want to offend them. But at age 19 God called me to SDA again. From 19 to 21 i was an active SDA, still got so many challeges and trials. I became a lukewarm SDA and sometimes became an atheist for a few months and then more bad things came my way. I am now 34 yr olc and i still believe SDA is the right one for me. I believe in Trinity (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit)

My wife was an Anglican and I was a Catholic but after studying scripture and attending an evangelistic series we were convinced that the Seventh day Adventist church was the only church teaching exactly what the bible says. We have studied the bible now for forty-eight years and have never seen the SDA church sway from bible truth.

When I think about the consistent assaults that have been waged by the evangelicals against the doctrinal beliefs of the SDA people, I find myself becoming even convicted that I am in the right denomination. And their attitude affirms the scripture found in Revelation which states, Revelation 12:17 KJV
[17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
The Devil knows very well that the SDA church has the correct understanding of scripture, and therefore we have now become the object of his wrath. However, the truth which the SDA people proclaim will continue to conquer hearts all around the globe, it will continue to abruptly penetrate the palace of spiritual Babylon to set the God’s faithful children free from captivity and from the wine 🍷 cup of the harlot woman and her apostate daughters.
More than any other time, we should unashamedly preach our doctrines, proclaim it with boldness, teach it with all honesty, humility and sincerity. Many hearts are yearning and anxiously waiting to listen to the present truth as it is in Jesus Christ.

I am not SDA, but God showed me the relevance of the Sabbath in the early 1990s while reading the Bible. I then made the decision to study this commandment from Genisis to Revelation. That journey blessed my choice to honor God's Day❤

Keeping a certain day Holy is contrary to to what Jesus taught. When Jesus healed a man who was paralyzed on the sabbath day the pharisees wanted to kill him for doing good on the sabbath. He turned and said to them "if one of you had an animal fall into a whole on the sabbath day you would go and get it out". Here Jesus is having mercy on a human being and they wanted to kill Him. Jesus also condemns denominationalism which is man made. I have never read or studied a writing where Jesus mentions it. A born again believer is all He mentions in the book of John chapter 3. and through out the entire bible. Which suggest the one church the true and living church. Denominations only separate us from loving one another uncoditionaly because of different beliefs when we should all have the same exact beliefs that Jesus had. Many professing Christians mis-judge the SDA members. I was a victim. Even in my own family, ridiculed and attacked me below the belt.

I was supposed to be raised a Catholic; something happened between me and the Charpel dorector, I was just 9 and I tore my catechism member card right in front of his eyes and never attend a Catholic service again until I got baptized on February 3, 1996. God bless you, Sabbath day is the Greatest thing that shows our Love for God according to John 15, Jesus said if u love me keep my commandments (10 commandments being classified into 2, 1-4 Love for God,5-10 love for ur neighbor simple as that but people goes on and twist the writings of Paul but Peter warned us of misunderstanding the writings of Paul in 2 peter 3:16 and Jesus said He never came to destroy the laws of prophets but to fulfill through righteousness and till Heaven and earth pass away,the law will never pass away Matt 5:17-20

Pastor Doug is a great Bible teacher and always backs up and quotes it from the Bible, I have followed him for 25 years of so and also Mark Finley, both of these men teach from the Bible and explain them selves very well at what the Bible teaches and says, God Bless Them !!!!!!

Amen. I was raised as an Evangelical Christian and even attended a prophecy seminar at the age of 15 where the pre-tribulation rapture view was espoused. Needless to say I always felt unsettled about my religion and experienced a general feeling of unfulfillment. I ended leaving the church before I was out of my teens and walked away from God altogether for a few years. I am thankful that although I left my Lord, He never left me. During my early 20s, I was going through a period of searching and Jesus Himself led me to Seventh Day Adventism. This occurred over 15 years ago when I had a vision of the cross and heard the voice of Jesus telling me that He loved me and He would love me no matter what. It was a very dramatic experience which I will never forget. Just a few days subsequent to this and despite being an avid viewer of television at the time, I stumbled across 3ABN for the first time and heard about the Seventh Day Adventist Church for the first time in my life. The bible then began to make sense to me and so did my purpose here on this earth.
I thank God for the ministry of Ellen White as her writings have been an integral part of my spiritual growth as all they have done and continue to do is to draw me nearer to my precious, loving and compassionate Saviour who died to set me free from my sin and grant me a place in His eternal Kingdom. I am the only SDA in my family and that cult description has been thrown at me by own Evangelical mother. I never allowed that label to deter or discourage me. While I am not in agreement with much of the order of the church's worship service on Sabbath, I will defend the doctrines of our faith with my dying breath as there is no-one who can convince me otherwise. While Christians from all religious affiliations will be in heaven, I am firmly convicted that our doctrines are all sola scriptura and we are the only true denomination on this planet.
I believe the Seventh Day Adventist church is the only truth teaching church in the world today. I am more thankful than ever that the Spirit of God led me to the Adventist teaching.

I am a christian my whole life already, but, I became a free christian at the age of 14. I have some great 7 days adventist friends. I respect the way they worship of our Lord Jesus Christ very much and also the way they demonstrate their love for their fellowman, their neighbors. When people come to me who are in search of salvation I always send them to the 7 days adventists. Me myself I'm still a free christian and I intend to continue being a free christian for the rest of my life because, I feel the present of our Lord Jesus Christ every minute of my life.
I pray this man comes to understand the reality of what we believe.

Their evil hearts rejected that good news. Just like all SDA.. Itching ears.. following cult leader, blasphemer, Ellen White.. who's works.. they never tell the new converts.. and held in equal standing as Paul.
What worries me is this person has a PhD. In theology and is teaching this doctrine to people. Watching and listening to him makes me want to do and follow the exact opposite of what he is teaching, I'm not a Seventh day adventists but I believe and try to live according to bible teaching, I once mentioned this to someone and I was being told that I was being legalistic, at the time I didn't know how to answer him, I am glad I found that I found your channel and now have some idea that I am correct in my beliefs, because I was honestly thinking that I was wrong.
