@@AdventistOrgChurch This sermon, along with the other ones recently given on 3ABN, have helped restore my faith in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. We still have a long way to go to eradicate the barbaric butchering of preborn children from our hospitals, the segregation in some of our colleges, etc, but this is a huge step in the right direction by helping to eradicate this one very large sin from our congregations, indeed it sends a very strong message to the whole world.
Id prefer messages about homosexuality from ex sufferers, not people who have no idea what it is to be in that world. Just sayin. And i agree with his preaching just comes across as mean to someone who isnt familiar with Bible. I am so i get it but fire and brimstone tends to just make people hardened in their sin and feel unfixable. I know ive been there

My sin or sins wouldn't be apart of what the subject is that is being addressed here. I am Praying about my sin and that's good because it means that I am not denying it but coffessing it to Gods who I know gives overcoming power. I do not want affirmation for my wrongs. The LGBTQ +++ wants affirmation and is being a bully about it and that's wrong, worst when you count your sin as righteousness.
Javiermorande9290, please read my statement carefully, it clearly States that I am a sinner who wants and needs forgiveness but I also know that the God who made the heavens and the earth, this God of unconditional love will never affirm my sins because sin is emity against God. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, its just that many refuse to accept the freedom that comes with surrender all to God. Instead they comfort and pamper there sins by saying Things like " your judging me" , " God said come just as you are" or " God is a God of love and what you are saying is hate speach." When telling the plain truth becomes hate speach then rest assure that Jesus is about to make His appearance. To add to that, Jesus spoke the truth hoping to reach the hearts of sinners and what did they do? kill him ,but guess what it was still the truth and is still the truth today and amen ! Jesus is alive today. And you know what he is going to come again and all those who rejected the truth will see him and know for sure that he was and is the way, the truth and the life. What a day Hallelujah! Be wise God is not mocked.

Cost? What is the cost to be in the mainstream of evangelical, catholic, islam and orthodox thinking? Pastor Finley repeats that LGBTQ is "lifestyle". Is it? Does it mean that being heterosexual is living a heterosexual lifestyle? Indeed. I never seen it in the Bible.

@@johnmusanda80 can I suggest you listen to a former lesbian who is now a born again Christian, now married with 4 children and a preacher of the gospel? Her name is Jackie Hill Perry. She talks about how when she accepted Christ, she repented and turned away from the lifestyle because she loved Christ because of HIs sacrifice for her sins. She walked away from the lifestyle but admits that being born again didn't mean that she wasn't tempted. She states that she had to fight against the temptations because she loved God and knew that He was transforming her to a new creation. She stated it has taken a few years but over time, the temptations became less and less with her continued devotion to loving Christ and living for Him. It has been a process. She walked in the light and although she was never a feminine girl (traditonally), God transformed her into a feminine woman in a different way. The Lord allowed her to meet and marry an amazing young man, they got married and now have 4 children. They are a force for the kingdom, preaching, teaching, influencing the world for the kingdom of God. Please look up Jackie and Preston Perry. They are an excellent resource for the church to show what that transformation looks like and more importantly, how the church should have the conversation with people who desire to come out of that lifestyle. She offers real practical ways in which the conversation/influence can be more impacting and transformational.

Yes,there is only XX genes for females and XY genes for males.And that's how Scientists have labeled it for us and the beauty of it all,is there's no YY gene or there's no possibility of creating one. The possibilities when we cross the two (XX & XY) are: XX,XY,XX,XY.We always get the 50% possibility of either XX a female or XY a male. They should have spoken up a long time ago. Too little too late when they can now see in retrospect the real agenda of the LGBTQ+ after it has already infiltrated the SDA denomination and its institutions in a obvious way. Thank you Sir for your interest in this topic. I was born into a polish catholic family. When I was 12 years old, gay feelings appeard. Sir I tell you I tried EVERYTHING possible to change that. I prayed for it, prayed in church for it. Pray the gay away. I wanted it so bad. I wanted to be heterosexual and have a normal life with children and without antigay discrimination. If I would have the chance today, I still would choose to be heterosexual. But it didnt happen. I am 36 years old today. But going secretly alone into gay clubs at the age of 19 surely brought me on a dark path being infected on purpose with hiv which destroyed my whole life. Still I consider myself a believing christian, believing in the light of christ. Still until today my sexual orientation didnt change. Sir I ask you for understanding, that it doesnt work for everybody. Moreover I ask you for help in preventing hiv infections through spreading awareness and information. God bless you Sir and us all. He was a coward to begin with as I saw in one video a few months ago, Mark Finley was reserved to denounce a bisexual pastor in Germany remaining in office, when he announced to his congregation and his regional conference his sexual orientation. Then Pastor Finley was saying it is not a doctrinal issue, so the GC doesn't need to get involved, it is left to the regional conference, who endorsed the said pastor to remain in office. Only a growing outcry worldwide, reversed the decision. Now Mark is speaking according to the Word of The Most High and not to be in favour with man.
Best message I ever heard this man teach! Thank you for standing up for the power of a transformed life in Christ! I have waited a very long time to hear you say this. The Bible is the truth. It is simple to know how our Father in heaven feels about lifestyle practices. Even if churches are divided. The Work of God alone rightly divides the truth. Read the Bible. Keep it simple. Let me first say that AS A GAY MAN and SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST I agree with much of what was said here. I absolutely respect pastor Mark Finley and appreciate his biblical approach to this difficult topic… HOWEVER, also speaking as one who IS a gay man, has been an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ community, and after leaving the church (and my faith) has now returned to faith and am experiencing a renewed walk with Christ; There are points that I PASSIONATELY disagree with. The main point being the minimizing of the fact that gay people are GENERALLY born gay! There is no doubt that there are some who May have turned to a gay “LIFESTYLE” due to experimentation, environmental factors, or just to be “different” but as someone who actually lives as part of the LGBTQ community I KNOW that being gay is actually NOT (let me repeat) NOT a “Lifestyle”. It is NO MORE a “choice” for us than it is for any of you that are heterosexual to have one day DECIDED to be straight! We didn’t have nor MAKE that “choice”. Gay people living in Uganda, Haiti, Jamaica, Iraq, and other countries that persecute their LGTBQ citizens are gay REGARDLESS of the persecution. Do you think they like the idea that they can be set on fire in the streets, hung, and/or imprisoned because of their sexual orientation? Even if they live a life of hiding the activity; it doesn’t take away the desire which for them is natural. We (gays) are among a 10% minority in the world. Subject to oppression, injustice, hatred, persecution, and attack. WHO WOULD “CHOOSE” THAT? I work in mental healthcare. Many youth and adults would rather commit suicide than live their lives as a gay individual! Do you not think that were it as simple as “a CHOICE” they would choose to be “normal” instead of take their own lives or battle mental health issues? There are over 300 species of animals also that present with homosexual or bisexual behaviors. At what point did they “Make a CHOICE”. I encourage everyone to actually get to KNOW someone in the LGBTQ community so that we can spread the gospel with a bit more actual and personal understanding when it comes to our gay brothers and sisters. This idea of one’s sexual orientation simply being a lifestyle choice is harmful and not true. Secondly. I also do not believe that there is anymore a GAY AGENDA to indoctrinate children than there is a STRAIGHT AGENDA to “influence their sexuality” . There are FAR more examples of straights abusing, trafficking, and exploiting children than there are gays merely by the fact that there are more straight people than gays. Yet I do not ascribe all attacks on children done by straight people to an AGENDA by ALL heterosexuals, nor do I feel that because some espouse these beliefs or vile practices that it is indicative of all heterosexual individuals. So painting the entire LGBTQ community with one broad brushstroke because (SUPPOSEDLY) some were chanting some foolishness about “coming for your kids” is unfair and ridiculous! Btw.. If that did indeed happen as Pastor Finley pointed out, then SHAME ON THEM, they do NOT speak for the rest of us. These are really the only two points I took issue with. Everything else I am in agreement with. I DO AGREE that as the parable of the wheat and tares points out “an enemy has done this”. I am in agreement that homosexuality was not God’s will and plan and that through sin this has come to be. I also agree that whatever the hereditary disposition if it is not in God’s will then he can and WILL overcome it in us. I have faith in this promise! So if it is God’s will to change my very nature and sexual orientation, I have told him to do so. I give him free reign. God has called me back after 30 years of being away from him. And he did so KNOWING I WAS GAY! I used to cry myself to sleep as a teenager begging God to take this away from me. I am now 51 and the answer is still either NO, or NOT YET. But while my sexual orientation may be gay my LIFESTYLE is NOT! And I’m growing in him everyday. So continue to love and live without judgement for by this some of you turn many away. But accept and trust that those who you pray for will by God’s Grace be transformed according to HIS WILL! Let God do it! Thank you and God Bless
Thank you for sharing. While God knows all of the circumstances in our lives that shaped our behaviors. Yet, no one is born gay or lesbian. That is a doctrine of devils and God is powerful enough to redeem you from that sin, dear friend. I share this in love that you will not inherit the kingdom of God in your current sin of homosexuality. For if you continue in that choice, then it’s better for you to not call yourself a Seventh Day Adventist Christian. For none of us can serve two masters.

I am in a tough position because on the one hand I am trying to witness to my LGBTQ community who feel disenfranchised by God and the church in general. And I have taken heat in the gay community for being gay and a Christian. They can not fathom how one can believe in a God that they are constantly being told hates them and can’t wait to throw them into hell. On the other hand I am judged by my own “brothers and sisters” in Christ before they even take the time to know me and my testimony! Like the individual up above that had the audacity to tell me that perhaps I shouldn’t call myself a Seventh Day Adventist. I get it from BOTH SIDES! But in the end I don’t answer to MAN. I answer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
@@rippedndangerous. I personally know of 4 gay men; my observations are this: all these guys grew up in homes where the fathers were uninvolved AND the mothers were over involved in their lives. I believe that they are searching for a masculine love that they didn’t get from their dads. With lesbians same thing only switch the roles. You see how important it is that fathers and mothers model equally love and affirmation in the home when children are growing up. When love and affirmation are modeled appropriately in the home; children can feel secure in their identity! We need so badly stronger more christian homes. Belinda you know 4 gay men, I know THOUSANDS. Yes there are many gay men that come from homes that have no loving father figure, there are also many STRAIGHT men that come from the same type of households. There are also many gay men that come from very loving homes. The idea that you believe that by saying we are BORN THIS WAY somehow discounts God’s ability to transform doesn’t quite make sense. I believe God can do anything TRANSFORMATION INCLUDED. But we all have our crosses to bear. It was not God’s will that someone is born with Down Syndrome, or crippled, or Joined at the hip with another sibling or a host of other ABNORMALITIES. As I said above when I referenced Jesus’s parable of the wheat and the tares “an enemy has done this”. I believe that sin’s introduction into this world is the cause for A lot of things that God did not intend originally. But here we are. And homosexuality is one of those things. Some people are born gay while most people are born straight. It IS NOT A CHOICE! I am so sick and tired of people who aren’t gay thinking they are experts on people that are! The fact that you had to wait this long for such a response from the GC leadership, shows that they are not dutiful watchmen for The Most High God, warning the people of impending danger. Instead speaking retrospectively, after condemning those who spoke present truth on this subject months, even years ago. Plus the Messiah gave every believer who studies the Bible ample warning, that in the last days it will be like the times of Sodom and Gomorrah. Sadly the SDA leadership has compromised to align with Papal ecumenicalism far too long, that they are no longer the first to speak out. Hence at last year's GC Session, they were brazen enough to parade the Vatican flag during the Sabbath Divine Service! Isaiah 56:10-12 King James Version 10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
We know this is the fulfillment of the word of God and as a remnant church we need to speak the truth. I thank God for your lead in spirit of truth without fear.

She has walked the walk and has a relevant approach to presenting the Gospel that is transformational. I believe God has raised her up in the body of Christ for such a time as this. Finley! .. thanks 🙏 Pastor Bohr also preaches about this and they have wanted to silence him, the enemy is using people within the church who weaken and divide the congregation so that God's message has no force! Let us pray that God will raise up more leaders like Pr. Finley and Pr. Bohr and that He will awaken many who are asleep and raise their voices, to preach the present truth! I am from Mozambique and I knew this Pastor for the first time in the Evangelism which we did in Cabo Delgado province and we gave out a lot of people the book "... Esperança..." I think so and finally by reading the book of Sabatine School of the last quarter "A mensagem de três anjos" and I Started following him. Of course, we are Portuguese language speaking country. Reading so many comments about folks “so glad you [sda church] have finally spoken about this, I’ve been waiting….” What’re you waiting for? An official justification of your existing biases? The sda church has never had authority over God or His Word. It reads like what you’ve been waiting for is another broken human to share your existing ideals and fears instead of wrestling with scripture and your relationship with Jesus with the greatest of these is love commands from 1st Corinthians. Don’t make this about you folks; God is so much bigger than you or any of your fears.
This is a very truthful sermon. I would add that many people who are especially aggressive in targeting homosexuality forget that this is not the only sin for which you could be stoned. Adultery is equally punishable by stoning. So is cursing your parents. All sin is wrong so we should worry about our own sins and not just homosexuality.

This sermon, along with the other ones recently given on 3ABN, have helped restore my faith in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. We still have a long way to go to eradicate the barbaric butchering of preborn children from our hospitals, the segregation in some of our colleges, etc, but this is a huge step in the right direction by helping to eradicate this one very large sin from our congregations, indeed it sends a very strong message to the whole world.

And i agree with his preaching just comes across as mean to someone who isnt familiar with Bible. I am Praying about my sin and that's good because it means that I am not denying it but coffessing it to Gods who I know gives overcoming power. I do not want affirmation for my wrongs. Javiermorande9290, please read my statement carefully, it clearly States that I am a sinner who wants and needs forgiveness but I also know that the God who made the heavens and the earth, this God of unconditional love will never affirm my sins because sin is emity against God. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, its just that many refuse to accept the freedom that comes with surrender all to God. Instead they comfort and pamper there sins by saying Things like " your judging me" , " God said come just as you are" or " God is a God of love and what you are saying is hate speach." When telling the plain truth becomes hate speach then rest assure that Jesus is about to make His appearance. To add to that, Jesus spoke the truth hoping to reach the hearts of sinners and what did they do? kill him ,but guess what it was still the truth and is still the truth today and amen ! Jesus is alive today. And you know what he is going to come again and all those who rejected the truth will see him and know for sure that he was and is the way, the truth and the life. Cost? What is the cost to be in the mainstream of evangelical, catholic, islam and orthodox thinking? Pastor Finley repeats that LGBTQ is "lifestyle". Is it? Does it mean that being heterosexual is living a heterosexual lifestyle? Indeed. I never seen it in the Bible.

@@johnmusanda80 can I suggest you listen to a former lesbian who is now a born again Christian, now married with 4 children and a preacher of the gospel? Her name is Jackie Hill Perry.
She talks about how when she accepted Christ, she repented and turned away from the lifestyle because she loved Christ because of HIs sacrifice for her sins. She walked away from the lifestyle but admits that being born again didn't mean that she wasn't tempted. She states that she had to fight against the temptations because she loved God and knew that He was transforming her to a new creation. She stated it has taken a few years but over time, the temptations became less and less with her continued devotion to loving Christ and living for Him. It has been a process. She walked in the light and although she was never a feminine girl (traditonally), God transformed her into a feminine woman in a different way. The Lord allowed her to meet and marry an amazing young man, they got married and now have 4 children. They are a force for the kingdom, preaching, teaching, influencing the world for the kingdom of God.
Please look up Jackie and Preston Perry. They are an excellent resource for the church to show what that transformation looks like and more importantly, how the church should have the conversation with people who desire to come out of that lifestyle. She offers real practical ways in which the conversation/influence can be more impacting and transformational.
The time has come and we cannot wait. Let truth be taught in love folks. The presentation is very vital in our day to day lives for parents and aspiring parents. Happy Sabbath

I am happy that we have come now to speak about this. We are on the threshold of the end so when we see these things happening we should look up for our redemption is near.
They should have spoken up a long time ago. Too little too late when they can now see in retrospect the real agenda of the LGBTQ+ after it has already infiltrated the SDA denomination and its institutions in a obvious way. From LGBTQ+ individuals holding leadership or laity posts in churches to SDA hospitals performing gender transformation operations and treatments.

Thank you Sir for your interest in this topic. I was born into a polish catholic family. When I was 12 years old, gay feelings appeard. Sir I tell you I tried EVERYTHING possible to change that. I prayed for it, prayed in church for it. Pray the gay away. I wanted it so bad. I wanted to be heterosexual and have a normal life with children and without antigay discrimination. If I would have the chance today, I still would choose to be heterosexual. But it didnt happen. I am 36 years old today. But going secretly alone into gay clubs at the age of 19 surely brought me on a dark path being infected on purpose with hiv which destroyed my whole life. Still I consider myself a believing christian, believing in the light of christ. Still until today my sexual orientation didnt change. Sir I ask you for understanding, that it doesnt work for everybody. Moreover I ask you for help in preventing hiv infections through spreading awareness and information. God bless you Sir and us all. He was a coward to begin with as I saw in one video a few months ago, Mark Finley was reserved to denounce a bisexual pastor in Germany remaining in office, when he announced to his congregation and his regional conference his sexual orientation. Then Pastor Finley was saying it is not a doctrinal issue, so the GC doesn't need to get involved, it is left to the regional conference, who endorsed the said pastor to remain in office. Only a growing outcry worldwide, reversed the decision. Now Mark is speaking according to the Word of The Most High and not to be in favour with man.
Best message I ever heard this man teach! Thank you for standing up for the power of a transformed life in Christ! I have waited a very long time to hear you say this. The Bible is the truth. It is simple to know how our Father in heaven feels about lifestyle practices. Even if churches are divided. The Work of God alone rightly divides the truth. Read the Bible. Keep it simple. Trust and obey Him who.loves us like no other. ❤
Let me first say that AS A GAY MAN and SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST I agree with much of what was said here. I absolutely respect pastor Mark Finley and appreciate his biblical approach to this difficult topic… HOWEVER, also speaking as one who IS a gay man, has been an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ community, and after leaving the church (and my faith) has now returned to faith and am experiencing a renewed walk with Christ; There are points that I PASSIONATELY disagree with.
The main point being the minimizing of the fact that gay people are GENERALLY born gay!
There is no doubt that there are some who May have turned to a gay “LIFESTYLE” due to experimentation, environmental factors, or just to be “different” but as someone who actually lives as part of the LGBTQ community I KNOW that being gay is actually NOT (let me repeat) NOT a “Lifestyle”. It is NO MORE a “choice” for us than it is for any of you that are heterosexual to have one day DECIDED to be straight!
We didn’t have nor MAKE that “choice”.
Gay people living in Uganda, Haiti, Jamaica, Iraq, and other countries that persecute their LGTBQ citizens are gay REGARDLESS of the persecution. Do you think they like the idea that they can be set on fire in the streets, hung, and/or imprisoned because of their sexual orientation? Even if they live a life of hiding the activity; it doesn’t take away the desire which for them is natural.
We (gays) are among a 10% minority in the world. Subject to oppression, injustice, hatred, persecution, and attack. WHO WOULD “CHOOSE” THAT?
I work in mental healthcare. Many youth and adults would rather commit suicide than live their lives as a gay individual! Do you not think that were it as simple as “a CHOICE” they would choose to be “normal” instead of take their own lives or battle mental health issues?
There are over 300 species of animals also that present with homosexual or bisexual behaviors. At what point did they “Make a CHOICE”. I encourage everyone to actually get to KNOW someone in the LGBTQ community so that we can spread the gospel with a bit more actual and personal understanding when it comes to our gay brothers and sisters.
This idea of one’s sexual orientation simply being a lifestyle choice is harmful and not true.
Secondly.
I also do not believe that there is anymore a GAY AGENDA to indoctrinate children than there is a STRAIGHT AGENDA to “influence their sexuality” . There are FAR more examples of straights abusing, trafficking, and exploiting children than there are gays merely by the fact that there are more straight people than gays. Yet I do not ascribe all attacks on children done by straight people to an AGENDA by ALL heterosexuals, nor do I feel that because some espouse these beliefs or vile practices that it is indicative of all heterosexual individuals. So painting the entire LGBTQ community with one broad brushstroke because (SUPPOSEDLY) some were chanting some foolishness about “coming for your kids” is unfair and ridiculous!
Btw.. If that did indeed happen as Pastor Finley pointed out, then SHAME ON THEM, they do NOT speak for the rest of us.
These are really the only two points I took issue with. Everything else I am in agreement with.
I DO AGREE that as the parable of the wheat and tares points out “an enemy has done this”. I am in agreement that homosexuality was not God’s will and plan and that through sin this has come to be. I also agree that whatever the hereditary disposition if it is not in God’s will then he can and WILL overcome it in us. I have faith in this promise!
So if it is God’s will to change my very nature and sexual orientation, I have told him to do so. I give him free reign.
God has called me back after 30 years of being away from him. And he did so KNOWING I WAS GAY! I used to cry myself to sleep as a teenager begging God to take this away from me. I am now 51 and the answer is still either NO, or NOT YET. But while my sexual orientation may be gay my LIFESTYLE is NOT!
And I’m growing in him everyday.
So continue to love and live without judgement for by this some of you turn many away.
But accept and trust that those who you pray for will by God’s Grace be transformed according to HIS WILL!

Thank you for sharing. While God knows all of the circumstances in our lives that shaped our behaviors. Yet, no one is born gay or lesbian. That is a doctrine of devils and God is powerful enough to redeem you from that sin, dear friend. I share this in love that you will not inherit the kingdom of God in your current sin of homosexuality. For if you continue in that choice, then it’s better for you to not call yourself a Seventh Day Adventist Christian. For none of us can serve two masters.

Thank you. We reach more hearts with love AND UNDERSTANDING than with presumptions, pre-conceived notions and pre-judgement. I am in a tough position because on the one hand I am trying to witness to my LGBTQ community who feel disenfranchised by God and the church in general. And I have taken heat in the gay community for being gay and a Christian. They can not fathom how one can believe in a God that they are constantly being told hates them and can’t wait to throw them into hell.
On the other hand I am judged by my own “brothers and sisters” in Christ before they even take the time to know me and my testimony! Like the individual up above that had the audacity to tell me that perhaps I shouldn’t call myself a Seventh Day Adventist.
I get it from BOTH SIDES!
But in the end I don’t answer to MAN. I answer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
@@rippedndangerous. I personally know of 4 gay men; my observations are this: all these guys grew up in homes where the fathers were uninvolved AND the mothers were over involved in their lives.
I believe that they are searching for a masculine love that they didn’t get from their dads.
With lesbians same thing only switch the roles.
You see how important it is that fathers and mothers model equally love and affirmation in the home when children are growing up. When love and affirmation are modeled appropriately in the home; children can feel secure in their identity!

Belinda you know 4 gay men, I know THOUSANDS. Yes there are many gay men that come from homes that have no loving father figure, there are also many STRAIGHT men that come from the same type of households. There are also many gay men that come from very loving homes. The idea that you believe that by saying we are BORN THIS WAY somehow discounts God’s ability to transform doesn’t quite make sense. I believe God can do anything TRANSFORMATION INCLUDED. But we all have our crosses to bear.
It was not God’s will that someone is born with Down Syndrome, or crippled, or Joined at the hip with another sibling or a host of other ABNORMALITIES. As I said above when I referenced Jesus’s parable of the wheat and the tares “an enemy has done this”. I believe that sin’s introduction into this world is the cause for A lot of things that God did not intend originally. But here we are. And homosexuality is one of those things. Some people are born gay while most people are born straight. It IS NOT A CHOICE! I am so sick and tired of people who aren’t gay thinking they are experts on people that are! That’s like a white person trying to tell a black person about the black experience. LET THEM TELL IT… NOT YOU!

The fact that you had to wait this long for such a response from the GC leadership, shows that they are not dutiful watchmen for The Most High God, warning the people of impending danger. Instead speaking retrospectively, after condemning those who spoke present truth on this subject months, even years ago.
Plus the Messiah gave every believer who studies the Bible ample warning, that in the last days it will be like the times of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Sadly the SDA leadership has compromised to align with Papal ecumenicalism far too long, that they are no longer the first to speak out. Hence at last year's GC Session, they were brazen enough to parade the Vatican flag during the Sabbath Divine Service!

Pastor Bohr also preaches about this and they have wanted to silence him, the enemy is using people within the church who weaken and divide the congregation so that God's message has no force! Let us pray that God will raise up more leaders like Pr. Finley and Pr. Bohr and that He will awaken many who are asleep and raise their voices, to preach the present truth! It is time for pastors to preach this type of message, many well-known pastors are keeping quiet and talking about topics that are good, but we need this type of preaching right now, to bombard the youth with messages like these!

As members of the church we can make ourselves heard by the people who are leading our church, we must also support these faithful servants of God!

I think so and finally by reading the book of Sabatine School of the last quarter "A mensagem de três anjos" and I Started following him. Of course, we are Portuguese language speaking country. Reading so many comments about folks “so glad you [sda church] have finally spoken about this, I’ve been waiting….” What’re you waiting for? An official justification of your existing biases? The sda church has never had authority over God or His Word. It reads like what you’ve been waiting for is another broken human to share your existing ideals and fears instead of wrestling with scripture and your relationship with Jesus with the greatest of these is love commands from 1st Corinthians. Don’t make this about you folks; God is so much bigger than you or any of your fears.

This is a very truthful sermon. I would add that many people who are especially aggressive in targeting homosexuality forget that this is not the only sin for which you could be stoned. Adultery is equally punishable by stoning. So is cursing your parents. All sin is wrong so we should worry about our own sins and not just homosexuality.
