Nice video. The parts where u shot from higher elevation really puts this fire in perspective. It was a massive blaze. Hopefully the injured are back to duty.
Nice video & birds-eye Matt; was just through that stretch last night at about 8:30! Tough conditions for sure; but it sounds like it was well managed & appears that all that could have been done was done!
Seems like the first thing is getting adequate water. Cities like NY and Philly had high pressure masterlines years ago. Anyone recall NYC's Superpumpers? One could blow through a brickwall with a super pumper. They should have kept it.
There are Thousands of old, empty buildings like that across this nation. Places where jobs were, are now abandoned, and useless. More of a threat to firefighters, and neighbors than ever before.
HOLY COW! WIPED OUT BUSINESSES TOO I BET ? THAT MUST HAVE BEEN A BIG LOSS FOR LEOMINISTER THAT NIGHT! PUT ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT OF HOMES! LOT OF WOOD FRAMED PLACES AND HOUSES OLDER THAN HADES ARROUND MASS !
Wow ! The view from the taller building at about 6 minutes in really shows how big this was. Nice job.
