- The time had come to finally sail across the Sea of Cortez from Cabo San Lucas to Chacala on Mainland Mexico - soaking up all the naked sailing and experiencing one of the scariest nights at sea yet. The unpredictable weather made our crossing a challenging ordeal, but with determination and some rough seas, we persevered. It's a new chapter for the crew of SV Avocet, so stay tuned ⛵️

did you drop the jib during the darkness? how did u do it? downwind with the main shadowing the jib? in 25 knots dropping jib is already pretty scary
