@@kimcloud5983 nah it's due to my typos and because I need to be vague. I can see it's very confusing. Not in the mood to change it though, I'm having a kidneyinfections and my feverish head doesn't let me focus for too long at a time. Decided to remove it. It is bad enough it was such a long post but if it was so terribly written by yours truly then I would rather remove it so people don't waste time. I don't mean this with any hard feelings btw, thanks for letting me know so I could sort of fix it.
In short I had my own Chantal who was very nice for 4,5y online but once we met she displayed not only borderline personality disorder traits which she was diagnosed with but refused to accept, but also NPD. Nothing was her fault. I catered to her every need, I made sure to ask her what the next thing was she wanted to do or see. She had a map in her hand and kept shrugging and saying she didn't know because she'd never been there before. No previous research, nothing. But at the hotel the next day she told me that she had looked at the map and she had seen over 20 attractions she wanted to go in. That pissed me off because she had that map the whole time the day before. The undertone was "that's your fault". And that happened with everything. She was afraid of fire and apparently it was me who had to remember to ask if there were any parts with fire in an attraction. But I had enough to deal with myself as I had been bedbound for 6, months and i essentially had weakened muscles which made me focus on not falling down and such. However even without my issues: they were HER fears but she expected ME to remember to ask staff if there was fire in the attraction. When I forgot she made a remark like "well I surely will be having nightmares tonight." And that's essentially how it went with everything. Things SHE was afraid of and had just mentioned to me online, she expected ME to deal with for her without so much as a nudge "would you please ask x or y" depending on the issue she was so afraid of. I forgot and then it was my fault again. It was so draining and horrible I broke down in one of the hotel convenience stores that were there because she had lashed out at me again.
However, when I was home I could take my distance and see what she had been doing and I refused to let her make me feel as if everything was my fault. I know I forgot some things and take accountability for it but she even silently blamed me for stealing money from her the one time I had held her backpack. I was pretty done right then and there and luckily the day after we would go home to forever split ways.
Hope this makes it a bit easier to understand. It feels like something Chantal would do, depending on the other person to arrange everything for her even when it's her issue to deal with something.

I find it so weird how people in the west assume everyone has (even needs) an oven/stove. Steamers, Crockpots, Solar cookers, etc. Honestly an oven is actually a *minority* worldwide. I'd say a restrictive one too, you can use others easy and then use an oven. But rely on an oven, when you don't have one. I notice people get kinda stuck.

As someone who dropped out of school at 15 and got my GED because of bullying, and ive also had 2 abusive romantic relationships, and its super annoying whenever Foodie tries to say she is bullied and she was abused. She doesn't seem to understand that her horrible behavior has brought her to a place where nobody likes her. People literally don't like her because of how she talks and treats others. She's the one who makes these ugly rants all over her platforms, insults everyone and goes waaaaay too far, and then blocks anyone from responding to her directly. That is bully behavior. She's so far from reality it's honestly just interesting to watch
I see where you're coming from and I know Foodie makes herself extremely hard to sympathize with, but a bully and abuser can still be bullied and abused by others. No matter how immature and unevolved she is, I think the situation with Nader was genuinely scary, and I think Salah shows red flags. I hope she's okay, even if she's awful. It's fascinating for sure
@R yeah I don't think that someone who's bullied and abused can't be abused or bullied, and I definitely think that her and Nader were never healthy, but I personally don't think he ever put his hands on Chantal like he does with DD, and I also think she was definitely emotionally abusive towards him as well. And the fact of the matter is, they were only together for like a week, and she always says she was in an abusive relationship for a year, when for 75% of that year, he was with DD and Chantal was trying to get him back for some unknown reason.
I never said that I don't think she's bullied and abused just fyi, I just said that it's irritating to me when she says that, because of the way she presents it. She presents it as something that just never happened, that's what irritates me. It also irritates me that she seems to think if she was a victim, that means she can do and say whatever she wants, and it will always be because she was a victim that one time. That's more what I mean than saying I don't think she was abused, because that's actually not how I feel. I 100% don't think she's bullied, but I do think she was emotionally manipulated at the least, and emotionally abused at most, with Nader, BUT she was also abusive towards him.
Also, she seems to have been looking for someone controlling, and that's also one of the first things she said she liked about Nader, which is definitely concerning. From what they've shown us thus far, Salah has been pretty damn controlling, and the fact that his instinct was to physically stop her from speaking when she was on camera, does make me wonder what he would do without the camera on.
I'm definitely not someone who hates foodie and sees no logic, I just get irritated when she manipulates people by her "I was abused for a year! And I'm bullied daily!" BS when she is the instigator 99% of the time. Tbh, other than FFG, I don't even know of a reaction channel that could even be misconstrued as bullying foodie🤷♀️

It's funny to me how ppl react to someone calling fb out for her lies about her hubby being so well off n all this crap. I was homeless for 2 yrs, and when I was able to get housing again, my partner and I, and our dog, lived in a studio apt. Ours was actually almost 500sq ft, *BUT* almost half of that, was a hallway that led from our doorway, around a corner and down another hallway into the living area🤣 so we had a TINY kitchen, a bed, and a TV, and that was it. We luckily had 6 large windows, with large window ciels that we were able to use for storage, without those windows being used for storage, I really don't know how we would've fit everything in that apt🤣 I've also lived in trailers as a late teenager and in my 20s, and I lived in RVs for like 2 years. So I've lived in a lot of tiny spaces, and I laughed at every joke someone made about foodie because they were funny jokes that weren't directed at me. And if I told everyone that I'm wealthy and living more than comfortably and own my own home and all this BS, then people found out I lived in a 100sq ft studio, I'd expect to be made fun of for being such a weird liar🤷♀️
People need to stop taking everything personally when it comes to Foodie and alr, insults or jokes directed at them, are directed at *them* and there's context that matters imo🤷♀️
