Seeing a lot of comments about how FFG offered an NDA and $3000 to keep it private. I believe I did mention it in the video but not at the part where I was talking about the criticism of FFG making money from the situation. Either way, it remains that she could have done it in private still if she wanted to. Even with that being said - I am supportive of FFG making money if it means BBJ is in a better place. I have no beef with FFG about this in case there was confusion.

You did mention it at 23:40ish. But you didn't do this case justice at all. This isn't the first time a vet has had to cut nails that were embedded into the pads. It happened last year as well.
Furthermore, it takes more than 3 months for nails to get to that point. But even if it only happened while she was in Kuwait, there viewers were telling Chantal they could see bbj was having trouble walking. They even offered to send a mobile vet to bbj. She refused.
Then when she got home, and here is the worst part, she used the results of her neglect to try and justify why she might need to be put down.
And did we all just forget how she was going to let Sam and bbj become 'outdoor' cats back when Nader was in the picture?
Her history of abuse is much farther reaching than this one instance. But thank you for making the video!
I don't think she expected people to pour all those super chats but she did make the deal that BBJ vet appointments she will deal with and pay for so it all works out for the best and none of us are in mourning right now...I love your ceremonies but not in this case
Vets are ridiculously price gouging since Covid, the ER vet I took my cat to in Ottawa wanted 2 grand just to read an X-ray, ffg’s sister is going to need the money

I think the best thing about FFG doing this publicly is that Chantal was just dangling that threat of euthanasia in front of everyone and telling us that we wouldn't know what happened to BBJ. That was a cruel move, and FFG negated that by telling us what happened.
Let's be real, Foodie and Peetz both sat there and listened to BBJ cry because of the amount of pain she was constantly in, for months. They've complained about her meowing at night since BEFORE she even went to Kuwait, and said she wasn't jumping up on things or playing anymore or anything (because of the pain she was in) and that was why she said she thought it was time to put BBJ down before she even left for Kuwait. FB and Peetz both are horrible pet owners

They are playing everybody with alleged animal neglect for views. If the cat had ingrown nails then how did it effortlessly jump up on the counter the other day? They are conning everyone.
Also I stated this before but I think FFG asked for BBJ not to be taken to the vet before being moved in fear that Chantal would just decide to put her down. if I was in FFG's shoes, I would've done the same thing

FFG did privately reach out to Foodie Beauty a week or so ago. She offered Foodie $3,000 for the cats and offered to sign an NDA. Foodie didn’t even respond. So FFG did attempt to do this all privately, which would have negated the “this was just for views” narrative. Foodie ignored the offer and FFG found a way around it so the cat would still be rescued. Foodie is just pissed she missed out on the money and NDA, and was exposed for her animal abuse.

I know about the NDA offer and mentioned it in the video. I even stated I’d rather FFG have money and that cat be safe. I was just explaining all sides of everything. My initial point still remains - it could have all happened in private even without the NDA. But it’s fine - I’m thrilled BBJ is in a better place

It's so cold and callous - I get upset when my cats cry in the carrier going to the vet and constantly try to soothe them. It's clear BBJ was just a prop and a nuisance to her.😠

Yeah, it was fucked up for sure, and made me miss my dog (who had to be euthanized for a brain tumor last year) like hell. I'm very weepy for BBJ and my pup right now.

I cried for days worrying about BBJ’s impending murder. I could not be any more grateful for FFG and La Famiglia Fry. Thank goodness BBJ was saved and will live out her life in peace, comfort, and being loved on. ❤

Once you give a pet away you can’t control where it goes after that. For all FB knew she was giving her cat away to be used for anything. Luckily that didn’t happen.
Literally I've rehomed two pets. One for unknown allergies and the other because of my living situation. I have offered to take the gecko back if needed but I've accepted they could rehome him elsewhere.
@@jaycebechtol8448 yes, I’ve had to give a pet away in the past but I did some major research of the new owner with vet references and took the pet to the home to see it and hoped they would keep it. Turned out to be a great home and they kept in touch. I don’t think it bothers her as much as she’s acting like it does, if she cared BBJ would have never been in that condition. I don’t even want to imagine what would happen to a child in her care either. She’s loving this story line though as she needed some kind of drama for views.

FFG was definitely helped by the fact that she was too lazy to even try to investigate who was offering to adopt BBJ. I'm just glad it was a legitimate adopter and not someone with less than noble intentions. She just wanted to dump that cat as quickly and cheaply as possible.

Ok, I do not normally watch FFG, so its not like I'm some super fan or something. I don't want to be overdramatic but that was some legit superhero stuff right there LOL. And it was righteous. You know, I did see some of FFG a few weeks ago and people were talking about BBJ and FFG was being elusive, and I did think she was going to be scouring shelters and stuff but didn't want to say anything to make Chantal skittish. But wow just wow. Thats the best thing I've ever seen in this area of the internet by far.

I adopted a cat that my first cat didn't like at all and had to bring him back to the animal adoption place after a week. I was SOBBING the whole time, I felt so horrible. Chantal acts like she's passing BBJ off for a grooming visit.
@@awareness2909 my best kitty cat came from that exact story 🐈⬛ she was returned back after the owners broke up or moved or something and just couldn’t keep her in their life so they returned her to the shelter… she was about to be put on hunger medication because she just wouldn’t eat in the shelter but after we brought her home she started eating up treats and eventually wet food working her way up to dry food and she gained weight to help finish growing up (she was young, maybe 1 year so it was probably a hard life for her before settling down in a forever home) I’m sure my little flopper thanks people like you who returned a pet so they could have another chance at life… there are happy endings for pets who are returned even if they experience difficulties from separation there is definitely hope for them
EDIT: I think you should only be ashamed of a lifestyle mismatch between you the owner and the animal IF you make it the animal’s burden… if you had an active dog breed but knew you didn’t want to walk and so you just let it outside and it gains health issues early from inactivity, if you had a bird or fish or rodent or reptile with no intentions of taking care of it for similar if not longer times than cats or dogs, buying a large animal with insufficient space or not providing your small animals with enrichment ETC ETC ETC that’s what’s shameful, and you did nothing like that! What you did was courageous and IMO it took bravery and strength to let go

I’m not a fan of FFG but she saved BBJ’s life and is getting her much needed, expensive vet care. I think that’s great and I’m fine with her making money to cover those vet bills.

If she thinks BBJ looks miserable, maybe it's because she's exhausted from being handed off to strangers and that tramatic ordeal at the vet. BBJ has every right to rest comfortably and probably hasn't been very comfortable for a while.

She was already saying that BBJ was howling at night and stumbling. Which were both signs of her overgrown nails, but also can be used as signs of natural decline. Everything was intentional
When she realized that she wouldn't be able to explain the aftercare without revealing how serious the nails were, she would have gone through with her plan
I would never part with my 18 year old cat Gary. He'll be 19 this year, just had a full panel done and results all back, he's wonderful. Thank goodness BBJ escaped being euthanized by Chantal, and any further physical pain, starvation, and absolute pure neglect! She is going to have a wonderful rest of her life, free of that selfish, cruel unlatched suitcase.l Chantal.

@@tw0nk621 I think when they get older they don’t scratch and play as much so the claws aren’t shedding as much as they normally would… and probably once they get really really long it probably becomes even harder to scratch on something to shorten them.
@@Feverm00n also consistent neglect. If Chantal had bothered to look at that cats nails even four times a YEAR this wouldn’t have happened. The last time BBJs nails were trimmed was the last time the vet had to correct her imbedded nails.
She has been home for a month and only decided that the cats claws were problematic at the last minute.
There's so much I could say, but having worked in animal rescue with a focus on cats, and having owned and fostered a number cats myself - this is horrendous and I'm so shocked at Chantal's treatment of BBJ. I've seen some awful stuff, and this is no exception. Ive worked with kitten mill cats who were kept in cages their whole lives who didn't have claws like that.
I absolutely believe everything FFG said about the vet visit. That is pure neglect, and Chantal obviously knew and just left it because she was going to euth her. I wouldn't have wanted her to keep the vet appointment either, seems there was a risk of her still going ahead with the euthanasia and the adoption wasn't finalised. If it were me in the brother and sister-in-law's situation I would have done a community rehome adoption contract, which I've done personally when adopting neglected animals from strangers to get them out of that situation. But the messages between Chantal and Amy should stand in for a contract, an agreement was clearly reached. Once Amy took BBJ, she can give her to who ever she chooses or allow anyone she chooses to have access to her. FFG did not in anyway "steal" BBJ. Deception? Yeah. But sometimes you have to go to unusual lengths to rescue an animal.
To leave a cat in that condition is unspeakably cruel, both on Chantal AND Peetz part. I'm shocked they didn't get infected and that BBJ didn't end up with sepsis or something... I can't believe I actually felt sorry for Peetz, maybe Chantal ought to take him to vet for that appointment 🙃

The way I had a whole ass breakdown today because I got the news that my cat has stage 2 kidney disease and is unlikely to survive. Seeing Chantal pretending to be upset over BBJ just makes me so fucking upset.

OMG I'm so sorry! :( Prayers for your kitty! Sending you love and hugs through this terrible time! My cat has deadly UTI issues (he's had 2 life threatening blockages) and if it wasn't for me noticing him not going to the bathroom in his box, crying and him continuing to scratch around in his box over and over again and not going that I knew I something was wrong and I had to get him to the vet. He is on a very strict diet that costs me a fortune every month but it's worth it to me to prevent him from getting another blockage and having to go to the vet again or possibly die! I would do ANYTHING for him! The way she treated BBJ is horrific and I'm BEYOND disgusted with Chantal! I'm SO glad BBJ has gotten proper care and is in a better home now!

Her laughing at Salah saying “BBJ will no longer be BBJ.. she will be BBQ after her vet visit”… and the last out of many others, she was purposely starving BBJ to make her heath look bad when she took her to the vet and telling them she wasn’t eating and didn’t have a appetite anymore so the vet will tell her she’s not in any shape to re-home and should put her down!!!!! At the LSU animal clinic a woman paid 80,000 bucks to get her 23 year old cat a lung transplant I couldn’t afford that but it just goes to show that elderly cats are so loved and that compared to how little BBJ’s owner cared for her life is stunning.
Omg...that's a lot. Wow. Then again, I know an aquatic vet who did surgery on a goldfish under anesthesia, so I'm sure that wasn't cheap either.

i paid for chemo for my 160lb rotty for a year. i also paid for a benign tumor removal surgery for my 180lb mastiff. they are family.

I'm so glad she didn't keep it private. Foodies behavior was abusive to not just the cats, but to her viewers who were trying to help or showing concern. The accountability is a nice change.
Also, the vet bills are going to be insane. I'm glad the community was able to help with that last night.
Knowing someone who actually did have to give up their pet for a very serious reasons and who actually cared deeply for their pet and did everything they could to avoid having to give them up, it's just so sad to see people treat having a pet like it isn't a commitment to that pet for their entire life. Sometimes there are situations where you do need to give up your pet but this was entirely avoidable and completely due to her selfishness.
To clarify: I think Chantal rehoming BBJ is the best thing for the situation, but that is solely because she is too selfish of a person to put her cat's needs in a proper position in her life.
The person I know who had to give up their dog was traumatized by it and struggles years later with the guilt and heartbreak of making that decision. For their circumstances, it was the best option, but unlike Chantal it wasn't because of their decisions but because of completely unforseen circumstances. Chantal made a commitment to BBJ when she brought her home and has chosen to completely betray that. I will never understand how a pet can be there for you for years and years when you need them and then the moment they become a slight inconvenience it's an issue.
I feel this. Me and my husband separated last year and due to my financial situation I wasn't able to keep my two cats. It breaks my heart every day that my boys aren't with me and I can't imagine choosing to give them away if there was the option to have them with me 😓

I clip my cats nails at least once a month, if not twice a month. They grow just as much as a dogs nails do, honestly just as much as humans nails do. That is blatant neglect and I am so relieved to hear BBJ finally got the medical attention she very well deserves
yes! our little girl Peaches her nails grow so fast! she has scratching posts and uses them often but they grow like weeds haha. my bf holds her with a squeezy treat (amazing distraction LOL) and i just trim them so easy and quick. it takes literally two minutes
Same! And I think because I do it so often my cat doesn’t mind. She knows she’ll get treats after.
I used to clip every other. But one time one nail was just starting to touch the pad (didn’t break the skin yet) and I could tell my cat was sensitive to it. I felt so guilty so now I clip every 3-4 weeks her front paws and her back paws grow slower so those I trim every other clipping. It baffles me she didn’t feel horrible.
Yup! My dogs need a trim every 2 weeks. Can’t have those nails clacking on the floor! Chantal is awful.
Chantal deserves all the shame she's getting...it's pure laziness to not care for your pet's basic needs while you shove food in your mouth on live streams high as balls. I fully support what FFG did and I would have 100% done the same.

I'm so disgusted by all this. My 14 year old cat was recently diagnosed with cancer. I know she doesn't have much longer and it kills me. I cannot imagine being so callous towards a pet. I'd give anything for my baby to be healthy and have many years left. I'll be by her side until her last moment.
If it helps, I put my childhood cat down to cancer two years ago. Honestly, the pain doesn't really go away (at least, not for me. I still cry.) However, you find comfort in the knowledge that you took care of your cat for as long as you did. It may have only been 14 years (or less, depending on how long you've had them,) but you were their forever. ❤️ If you can, have either you or someone else there with the kitty for when they get put down. I interned at a vet office a little while back, and the most heartbreaking thing was when pets look around for their owner in their last moments. I hope this isn't too much information, but good luck, friend. :") ❤️

Chantal was also saying she was losing weight because she would only eat treats. But the vet said outside of the nails she was in fine health. Was Chantal seriously starving her cat on purpose??

Peetz said on a live while Chantal was at her families that BBJ didn't have any food so a viewer had food sent over there. Chantal said that there was food she just straightened up and put it some where different and Peetz didn't know. I call bullshit. Since when does she straighten up? Why would she change the location and why wouldn't they just work that out through text? (Chantal was annoyed at Peetz at the time and didn't want to go back home) They are both shady as shit.
At the end of the day, the woman who said she'd take the cat has the cat - not FFG. So, her raging over this is just as stupid as her raging over FFG apparently stalking her mom's house and posting photos ... even though the photos were taken from Google Maps (and Chantal's pea-brain - the only part on her that is small - couldn't comprehend this and thought she had uploaded it to Google).

Whatever anyones feelings are about FFG and her insertion into Chantalverse, the one good thing to come off from this is the fact that BBJ has been rescued off the hands of a narcissistic animal abuser and is now cared for and pain-free and she has nothing around her to abuse anymore.

She risked her reputation on the internet for ‘taking things too far.’ She risked her own emotional health by putting herself through taking care of another animal after already having lost two in a short amount of time (she even talked about how she was crying for BBJ at the vet and also crying because she lost her dogs there, too.) she’s risking the non stop onslaught from Chantal and her fans that she’s going to forever be getting now. FFG really exposed herself to A LOT of hate. This could have gone completely left, but she did it anyway because she knew it was the right thing to do. Look at the comments though. So many people are talking about ‘a good deed isn’t good if people know about it’ like Zach is saying. It’s not an easy win

I won't say I'm a perfect cat dad (3 y/o gray tux and 6 mo tan tabby) but I absolutely love them. I can not imagine giving them up for a partner; that just tells me they are not the right person to be with and they can not see they have personality just like people do. I extended my lease at my old place so I can spend more time trying to find a pet friendly apartment within my budget range that wasnt absolutely horrid
I also have a Tan tabby and a grey tuxedo! Literally my husband and I's entire world is our babies

The idea of a cat’s claws imbedding into their pads is so depressing. I just had to go and count my cat’s little toe beans to make myself feel better. Also I checked my roommate’s elderly cat’s toe beans. They were perfect, because she has plenty of good places to scratch(like actual scratchers and cat trees) and we clip her claws if needed.
Apparently this isn’t even first time, either. Some other folks were saying she’s mentioned it happening before. Awful!

I would never abandon my 20 year old cat for someone I just met. If I felt so strongly about it, I would remain by my cat's side until their natural dying breath. Whether that was a month, a year, or by some miracle another decade. There is nothing in this world that would make me do any of the horrendous things Chantal did. If I knew I couldn't care for her anymore, I would have set my pride aside and I would have given her to FFG, no money, no NDA. Because it would have been the right thing to do for the cat. Chantal has absolutely no sense of empathy or sympathy. She doesn't care about anyone but herself or whatever "man" she fancies that year. Disgusting, vile creature.
FFG tried to do it in private, she offered Chantal $3000 and offered to sign an NDA, but Chantal refused and then raged about euthanizing BBJ, which pissed everyone off, naturally, and made everyone so worried that FFG's viewers BEGGED FFG to save BBJ. Which she delivered like a champ!

People offered to pay Peet's Uber and vet bill while FB was gone also offered to pay a mobile vet...all were declined so she's full of crap with this I was in kuwait

I have a senior cat right now, and he has medical issues that developed last year and he has to take medicine every 12 hrs. He wakes up multiple times in the night and wakes me and my bf up for food or cuddles, and its getting really hard (he may need a medicine adjustment, he has hyperthyroidism). Even if it's frustrating, I can not imagine giving him away, because senior cats are so attached to you. They will be confused and scared, how horrible

I have a 16 year old and she is great....because my whole world centers around her. senior pets can be very challenging but it would never promote me to give her away. Chantal really got to me with this more than I'd like to say.....outrageous behavior

It appears Chantal didn’t vet the person she was giving BBJ to and with her reputation it absolutely could’ve ended up being some horrible psycho instead of FFG and her family. And with how much she talked about putting down BBJ of course people weren’t going to encourage her to take her to the vet-how could anyone believe it would just be a visit for her nails? In her beano stream, she actually was asked if bbj’s new owner might be a haydur. She acknowledged that as a possibility and basically said even haydurs love animals. And that basically it didn’t matter. She can’t keep her rages straight.

I’ve been staying away from most of the cat content. My cat Salem is only four years old and if I lost him for any reason…my heart would be completely broken. I cannot explain the bond I have with him after a life of only having dogs. I’ve been with my boyfriend for over 5 yrs and if being with him meant losing my Salem, I’d chose Salem every day. Chantal was only upset about her cats when FFG became involved. This whole “ I SAID I would take her to the vet!” line is bullshit. BBJ had to be neglected a long time for her nails to get imbedded in her paws. I wish nothing but the worst for chantal & peetz at this point. I don’t care.

I can’t imagine having an animal for 20 years and then just giving them up like that. I’ve only had my dog for 6 years yet I can’t imagine my life without him. Even if I move to a different country, he’d be coming with me.

also, I have a Toy Manchester Terrier and they are notorious for having super fast-growing nails. so every Friday, I clip Mable to her couch leash and sand down her nails since she doesn't like the trimmer. I cook her my dog-safe food scraps and spend the last of my paychecks on things she needs instead of things I want. animals love us so much. we owe them our best. 💙

It take a lot longer than 3 months for nails to grow into the foot pads!!! That cat probably hasn’t gotten her nails cut in over a year!!!!!
I just thank god that there are overwhelming more decent people in this world who see Chantal’s behaviour towards her animals and her lack of ability to bond with her cats over the years very telling to her as a horrible selfish person.
