I'm going though genetic hair loss as a young woman. It's absolutely devastating and makes me feel like no one will want to be with me, or that they will leave me at some point. It was really cool and compassionate of him to acknowledge how he was using the word.

There are many beautiful desert landscapes in the world, what she has shown us so far doesn’t compare. The camels walking together in the sand was the most interesting so far.
I have a tumor in my brain and the medication I’m on for it, made me lose my hair in chunks, so I cut it off. My 2 year old has ZERO shame in rubbing my head and calling me bald (even tho I have a little bit of hair left 🙄😂). At first it really made me sad but my baby loving me no matter what - even thru dissing me - has made it so much better 🥰 I said all that to say, whilst it doesn’t bother me when you call her bald, the fact that it bothers others and you apologizing for it means a lot to me. You’re a sweet soul and my son and I love you ❤️

honestly that campsite looks like its possibly an abandoned US military installation just by the set up and the stuff they had around. Some of the creative ways my husband and his army buddies set up their living quarters while he was in the middle east used to blow my mind, I guess when youre away from home for a year and living in the desert you set things up to make them as comfortable as possible.

Before things like UA-cam, had it not been for books, I wouldn't know anything about the world because as badly as I have always dreamed of traveling, I haven't gone any further than two states away. But I still dream of far away places so I often watch documentaries about things like ancient history (which I have always loved) or even decent travel vlogs. I love having something like UA-cam where you can virtually see anywhere in the world and learn about any culture you want to learn about around the world. It helps get me out of the crappy small town I live in here in Ohio. lmao

My 2 year old has ZERO shame in rubbing my head and calling me bald (even tho I have a little bit of hair left 🙄😂). At first it really made me sad but my baby loving me no matter what - even thru dissing me - has made it so much better 🥰
I said all that to say, whilst it doesn’t bother me when you call her bald, the fact that it bothers others and you apologizing for it means a lot to me. You’re a sweet soul and my son and I love you ❤️

So you know how Chantal said people with special needs don’t get offended by the R word? Well I’m a special needs teacher and yesterday for discussion I asked my high school students with special needs how the R word makes them feel. So here are REAL responses from people with actual special needs:
“It makes me feel bad because people use it bad”
“It hurts me feelings.”
“I don’t like when people say that about me”
“Why do people say that?”
“People have called me that and it makes me feel like I’m stupid”
“Why does anyone say it?”
“Kids in the bus call me that and no one sticks up for me”
The definition of the R word according to Merriam-Webster dictionary is “Offensive: slow or limited in intellectual or emotional development”.
So Chantal, you can not speak for them. You don’t have the right. And the worst part about it, you will still defend your actions and your words. I’d love to send you a personal video of my kids using the words “that’s so Chantal 🙄” all day yesterday in a derogatory way in place of the offensive word. How does that make you feel that a room full of kids with special needs used your name in a derogatory manner all day? It may be petty but I’m here to prove that point.

honestly that campsite looks like its possibly an abandoned US military installation just by the set up and the stuff they had around. Some of the creative ways my husband and his army buddies set up their living quarters while he was in the middle east used to blow my mind, I guess when youre away from home for a year and living in the desert you set things up to make them as comfortable as possible.

You are completely right about the fact that these Kuwait vlogs very well could have been fascinating. I am someone who finds places like Kuwait incredibly interesting. The history alone is just....mind blowing to consider. I am a history nerd hard core and the idea that they are there at a modern camp site but they are camping in the desert the same way people were doing many thousands of years ago in that same place....to me, that is content gold right there. Yet she has no personality and she manages to take something I could ordinarily watch for hours and make twenty minutes unbearably boring. It is truly her greatest talent. 😂

Before things like UA-cam, had it not been for books, I wouldn't know anything about the world because as badly as I have always dreamed of traveling, I haven't gone any further than two states away. But I still dream of far away places so I often watch documentaries about things like ancient history (which I have always loved) or even decent travel vlogs. I love having something like UA-cam where you can virtually see anywhere in the world and learn about any culture you want to learn about around the world. It helps get me out of the crappy small town I live in here in Ohio. lmao

So even tho it doesn't effect me directly, I can appreciate and respect your ability to take in criticism, take responsibility and apologize when you feel like you should. I know this is an older video and the community post I am speaking of in this comment wasnt even made yet, but on Dec 28, she made a post speaking about infertility and she is going on and on and then comes to a point about someone named Yaba making comments and calling children the r word(her exact quote is "or bullying other children directly (ahem Yaba calling kids the r word) It's gross" LIKE WTF? how many times over the years has she been called out for that exact thing, even calling FFG that exact slur, Peetz has called her out and went on a long rant about it on his channel about how he thinks its wrong, he calls her out on it and tells her about how wrong it is and she continues to do it because she thinks its ok, but now all of a sudden someone else said it, someone she doesnt care for all that much most likely because they saw through her bullshit and called her on it, so she is going to rage post and try to get everyone to look at their bad actions and not her's because she is such a good human being now that she is married and wears a hijab, her delusions are always a source lots of questions and confusion because it makes me wonder does she forget just a few weeks ago she was using that same exact term to describe someone and she felt it was 100% ok for her to refer to FFG as that, but now its gross because someone else did it and she is now on a moral high ground suddenly. She honestly never ceases to amaze me at her lack of accountability for her actions.
