Thank you for mentioning various class levels. I'm trying to research this topic for something I'm writing, and there's seemingly only information about the classiest full-blown all-out fancy weddings out there. I needed something less royal.

Thank you so much for teaching me about historical Chinese wedding ceremony. I became interested in Chinese weddings after watching Ruyi's promotion ceremony.

How far is the common distance between proposing and the wedding date? About a few days, a few weeks, a few months, or about a year?
I saw an interesting clip from a Cdrama I have just watched:
    "Gu & Liu's Wedding is So Romantic | Destined EP03 | 长风渡 | iQIYI".
Someday, can you make a video on how accurate the wedding scene of this drama is?
The bride there was holding a paper fan, and red cloth. They had to step on a saddle as well there. There were also people holding large fans at the hall. A quite interesting scene to see.

I nee a new Head! All the information about a married.
But was this Process only for the "Wife" or for the Concubines, too?🤔
And what were say this People to our modern wedding?

Only apply to wife. Concubine technically doesn’t count as family member. I will make a video about them, because this is a real important concept in ancient Chinese history. If using the ancient wedding process, most today’s marriage are illegal. 😅

@@ariste01 No. proposing is to girl’s parents, not the girl. You can watch below video, which may help a little.

@@ancientchinesehistorychannel lol it was a joke but I'll check it out. Thx. Your videos just started crossing my feed a couple weeks ago. The ones about the different types of jewelry and crowns have been my favorite so far. I don't like growing my nails long but those nail guards are exquisite. I'm just trying to understand more about history and cultures other than my own because I think it helps me expand my world view and be more accepting.
