I was quite shocked when I first saw a 相亲角 (Chinese Matchmaking Corner), as there isn't anything like it in the west. But after some time I got used to seeing them, and actually began to think that it makes a lot of sense - especially for those who are so caught up with work and other life pressures that they are unable to find the right match. The 相亲角 is essentially real life version of the online matchmaking tools used frequently in the west.
A quote by the late writer Lin Yutang goes something like this: marriage in the West is like a cup of boiling hot tea as time goes by it get cooler. In the East, marriage is like brewing a cup of tea it gets hotter with passing time.
Thanks Uncle Hanzi for your time in producing these great videos. It would have been fantastic to relations between the USA and China if you were able to help mediate the trade disputes between our two countries during the Trump administration.
Who was Sultan Mehmed 2 or Mehmed The Conqueror and Why He is soo Famous ?? - Ottoman Sultan who ruled from August 1444 to September 1446, and then later from February 1451 to May 1481 - In Mehmed II's first reign, he defeated the crusade led by John Hunyadi after the Hungarian incursions into his country broke the conditions of the truce Peace of Szeged - At the age of 21, he conquered Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) and brought an end to the Byzantine Empire. - After the conquest Mehmed claimed the title "Caesar" of the Roman Empire (Qayser-i Rûm), based on the fact that Constantinople had been the seat and capital of the surviving Eastern Roman Empire since its consecration in 330 AD by Emperor Constantine I - Mehmed continued his conquests in Anatolia with its reunification and in Southeast Europe as far west as Bosnia. - The news of Mehmed's death caused great rejoicing in Europe; church bells were rung and celebrations held. The news was proclaimed in Venice thus: "La Grande Aquila è morta!" ('The Great Eagle is dead!' ) - He is considered a hero in modern-day Turkey and parts of the wider Muslim world. Among other things, Istanbul's Fatih district, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and Fatih Mosque are named after him. For more follow @aicuep20 TEAM AICUEP
The Chinese value and meaningful culture had evolved to this day. It is a sad reality the aspiration of China woman, influenced by materialism and self-egoism. Most have gone to work and no longer have to depend on husband support. It is a world trend in modern city. The rural women had changed after working in cities seeking monetary support to their family. The irony outcome is infidelity and many divorces. This erodes and destroy the traditional confucian values.
@@mustafajuventino9964 Absolutely. Because I'm a happily married man. We aren't a wealthy family and we are very happy. Are you single? Or have been in bad relationships? Or have any experience with relationships? Just trying to get a picture of your reasoning
This man is an inspiration, his biography is amazing.
