Bro. I like your videos. You covered each and every point regarding the motorcycle preparation for long ride
Glad to help!
Very, very clear and well structured video Pavlin. Best of luck on your South American trip.
Many thanks!
Good vid Pavlin. people need to read their manuals and follow what is taught if they don't have general knowledge or experience you can only gain from riding your machine. All good from east KY USA Next time
Exactly!
Thank you Pavel ! As a very busy and hard pressed executive, I had to force myself to take the time to do my bike maintenance by mself, in my own garage. Was not so easy to get over these tasks. But it paid back big time. It's not about saving a few hundred bucks, here and there. Which is absurd given my earnings. It paid big time for me, because I became excellent in managing the maintenance teams in the plants, I own and operate in several countries.✌
Thanks for sharing!
for me it's okay to add some accessories to your bike such as but limited only to aux lights, dual loud horns, provided that:
1. You don't modify or mess with the stock factory wiring harness;
2. You have separate wirings, relays, fuses and sockets for each auxiliarry lines you added;
3. That each auxilliary wirings has at least 80% factor of safety in terms of current and voltage load and must be properly tested and sealed to the elements;
4. Must be done and installed by a trusted and professional auto or motorcycle electrician, and;
5. At least a pair of loud horns and aux lights is just enough.
Fair enough!
You do your thing, we'll do ours.
Best of luck and good times on your South American trip. Looking forward to your reporting. Vaya con Dios!
Can't wait!
It is currently 27C on the Atlantic Coast of Uruguay. Sorry I am late commenting and liking this. - The yard is growing like crazy.
Lucky you!
Couldn't agree more.
Reminds me one negative on the Himalayan 450.
To keep the seat height low and the ground clearances high, the air filter is moved to under the tank to alliw thism. Harder to clean/service.
This also causes the tank to bulge at the sides a bit.. you can't have everything!
Battery still under the seatm
Ride safe 👍
True! You cannot have everything!
Super . Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
Any time!
Great simple video based on many thousands of km experience, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Good afternoon my friends!.Up-to-date maintenance,expectacular engine!Beautiful machine..
Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed this video very much and I noticed your tone has mellowed. Good!! It is nice to see that you have become more neutral (regarding no experience with drive shaft means no talk). 👍👍👍
I always speak only when I have my personal experience!
Thanks Pavlin for these tips !!!
My pleasure!
Pavlin, could you do a video on clothing you wear or have worn on previous trips? Thank you
I have a number of videos about my riding gear, just look the channel.
Excellent video my friend, cheers from 🇺🇸. Looking forward to your trip to America 😳😂
Can't wait!
Thanks you pavlin
Any time!
Well spoken!
Thanks!
excelent material!!
Thanks, man!
"Will a Proper Motorcycle Maintenance Ensure Reliability?" If done correctly, it won't make it worse.
True!
Much Enjoyment 👍😎
Thanks for the visit!
Hi men. Отличное видео спасибо. Like.🎉
Пожалуйста!
Hello, I enjoy your videos and I like very much your advises. And I would like your opinion for a "solution" that I have found. For the auxiliaries gadgets etc I use HEALTECH's Thunder Box PDM, which is actually an automatic relay and overcurrent protection that goes directly to the battery without any cuts or patches. Do you think that it compromise the life of charging system?
Cannot say!
36k , chain drive 😮
Yes!
Hi Pavlin. Did I understand correctly that you haven't done the valve clearance check yet? As manual say it should be done every 40k km.
Correct! I haven't done it yet.
@@motorcycleadventures can you tell me why? 🤔 I have ~33k km on T7 and a trip of ~15k km next year. I'm wondering if it's worth checking before trip
No! The Tenere of my mechanic, Plamen is on almost 100,000km and still not checked. He plan to do it very soon.
change bikes every 20000kms as i do--- never have a maintenance issue ever
If you have this chance...
I don't get the cable clutch agrument, your brakes are also driven by hydraulics. Would you trust your brakes less than your clutch?
I have two brakes and one clutch. I never had any brake problems, but I have heard about many clutch pump failures, including my personal experience on Husqvarna 501.
Where the heck is Magadan? 😅
Google it!
More grease, more kms 🤷
Could be!
