So if I'm getting this correctly the MWD just improves the overall 'align' time due to the requirement of 75% engine speed. Due the quintupling effect on speed essentially.
Now the cloak is essentially just there to prevent you from being auto-locked or to provide at least -some- form of protection due to the quintupling effect on signature radius.
The goal is to turn off cloak and activate jump -before- the MWD turns off to receive any kind of bonus from the speed enhancement. THus, bypassing a huge portion of align time.
I tried this on my Orca transporter and saw a ridiculous 20sec dropped off of align time.

The video is interesting, however maybe next time travel through low or null sec. Show us how to check for gate camps and how to survive them. More low sec. and null sec. action overall. Also, as far as I know, gankers won't even bother to look at you if you are under 0.5B in high sec. Not juicy enough.
Ya, I had been playing for years and only found out recently that the tanky T1 haulers actually had a faster warp. Previously I had almost thought they were worthless in HS due to their limited capacity compared to their more fragile alternatives. Now I have started rigging them for warp speed to get them almost as fast as a blockade runner.
They can be really tanky too

You don't get attacked just because safety is off. Just as a general rule of thumb you should probably keep safety "ON" in high sec.

Just learning this trick and fitting my ship. I currently have a couple Warp Stabs on it as well as a "back up" just incase I do get locked and scramed. But I guess my question is... if you're doing this right, should I drop the warp core stabs and just use Inertial stabs for the faster align?
Yeah if you are doing it right the warp core stabs Or istabs won't really make a difference . The istabs just feel better to me . If you get locked up for some reason with warp core stabs or istabs you are probably going to lose your ship especially if it's a gate camp . If it just one person and you have warp core stabs you might be able to get away

You can skip the mwd step by installing a Higgs rig
How do you avoid bubbles?
Fly an interceptor or a luxury yacht they are immune to bubbles
Also most people that fly Deep space transports put micro jump drives on their ship to quickly jump100km out of the bubble
Tried it in a Bestower with max cargo fit.
Didn't work too well....
update: just tried it for an hour with a sigil and couldnt get it to work in that either.
@@ChaotiX1 Are you using the improved cloaking device t2 and a 50 mn microwarp drive?
@@eveexpertguides995 im using a 50mn mwd but I dont have a t2 cloak. My corp told me you could do it with a prototype cloak
@@ChaotiX1 It's much easier with the t2 cloak, keep training or use some available skill points to get it. With t1, it's technically possible but your timings have to be very precise.
Why turn off the cloak if you can warp while cloaked?
The cloak I was using was a tech 1 cloak and it won't allow you to warp while cloaked. Only the tech 2 covert ops cloak will allow to warp cloaked and you have to be omega clone to use it. Thanks for your question!

Is this information still valid? When I am cloaked I cannot seem to activate any other systems at all. No Compaq Warp Drives.. anything. Maybe Im just doing something wrong?
It still works; you have to align , press the cloak and then the mwd very quickly after when the mwd is at 75%, then decloak and then go to warp . I suggest to use hot keys f1 (cloak) and f2 (mwd) . It just takes lots of practice at first then you'll be a pro in no time ;)
Could you do this with something like a Badger as well or is a Sigil just better for the extra low slots?
You can do this with the badger as well. All that matters is the improved cloak and 50mn microwarp drive and (decent tank if you can fit it.)

Impossible to lock a ship if done right.
the only thing you can get instalocked by is instalocking NPCs, like sanshas
