    Hi.
    Good day!
Been trying to learn uiux for almost a year now,
Still not been able to do a project of mine. No matter how small.
My learning has been slow mostly cos I have very little interest in uiux. The learning process has been kinda boring g
But I want to learn and design and try to get a job.
Please, what advice can u give me to be able to have interest and build focus.
I've already spent money on buying laptops(costly ones) and all

Hi! Thank you for sharing this 🙌 It's a tricky situation since you've mentioned that you're not really interested in UX Design. I think that you can try one of two things:
      1. Join a UX BootCamp if you're mostly struggling with motivation or with learning on your own.
      2. Explore other areas that are close to UX Design if you're honestly bored with it and don't see yourself doing it long term. For example, you can learn some frontend programming (starting with HTML, CSS, and Javascript), Product Management, Data Analysis, or UX Research.
Try things out and make it your goal to find something you're genuinely passionate about! It will be WAY easier to succeed if you're genuinely excited about something.
UX Design is an ever-evolving discipline and you'll need to stay on top of all the changes until the end of your career.
I'm curious, why did you decide to pursue UX Design in the first place? What was the initial thing that 'clicked' that is not there anymore?

@outdraw.design Thank you very much for replying. I really appreciate it.
The decision to pursue UX design wasn't really mine.
It was suggested by some friends and family members. I decided to try it cos I had nothing else in mind, and I was broke and jobless.
But when I tried to find out what uiux was about, I sort of loved the idea of 'solving problems', designing or making things(not just UI) to meet people's needs. So I decided to try it out.
