I like the level up mechanic. It mirrors his progression in Dead Rising and it lets him wield amazing, incredibly powerful weapons at levels 4 and 5. It can be difficult to use for beginners, but it really pays off.
Back when I was a kid, I started get into Dead Rising after playing 24/7 as Frank in TvC and reviewing the game. Before I found out he was from Dead Rising, I thought he was from a Mega Man game since he did the Mega Buster Special and had the Servbot helmet while doing his lvl 3, but when looking closely at the zombies he's spawning in and objects he is bringing out, guess he's not from Mega Man and by looking at the zombies in the Willamette Mall stage, they look exactly the same as the ones Frank spawns. To this day, I am now an adult teen with an educated life. Also, I got all the complete series of Dead Rising, but I was disappointed that part 4 is and will never be the same as how the actual Dead Rising gameplay goes. ): Also, that Frank West was 100% different than how I see him in 1, Case West, and Off The Record.
SonicExeReaper kinda. I just don't think he acts like Frank XD. I know Frank as a cocky everyman but not a wisecracker with very questionable dialogue. Also they didn't go crazy enough with the Christmas idea >:3. I would of gone insane with it.
Justin Morse It's because they used most of their funding to get the rights to use Joe the Condor, Tekkaman Blade, and all of the other Tatsunoko characters in America. Hence why the soundtrack and minigames didn't carry over, as well as having lazy looking intros and outros, and Frank's iconic TvC voice. XD

Tatsunoko is a Japanese animation company that has been around for almost 40 years and very rarely ventured out of Japan which is why not alot of people know who they are. This game almost didn't get release because Tatsunoko once said in an interview that they were worried that the western world wouldn't approve, but I am glad they did because this game is sweet and 'The' best game on Wii period.
The amount of experience gained is equal to the amount of hits in the current combo. It's possible to reach level 5 in a single combo if you use the right characters, and even my novice skills can get Frank up to level 3 in one combo without assists or meter. It doesn't take many pictures at all if you can do a few decent combos.
