Raise your hand if you think this game was underrated
I wish they make another one if it wasn’t cause it was a wii exclusive it would have made it somewhat big
Fun Fact: Tatsunoko VS Capcom actually SOLD better in NA and Europe than in Japan!
but it still only sold 50,000 because it was on the Wii
and that's on top of the fact that it almost didn't even get an overseas release in the first place
@@michellelincoln9987 in total, the game sold nearly 490 000 copies. but the wii being not the right console for fighters didnt help things at all
It helped that the NA version was an upgraded version of the orginal JP version aside from missing one character.
...how??? Most of the animes that were here were never released in North America, so they barely had any name recognition, I thought it would've done better in Japan.
As someone who has dealing with depression for a long time, I have to that this song is a bit of comfort song for me. In fact, I get emotional and tear up whenever I come back and listen to it. The lyrics just make me feel as though I can keep going and succeed no matter how bad things get and more importantly that I'm not alone.
To anyone reading this, especially in this current state the world is in, please know that you can be strong, and you're never alone.
Hope your ok now. may love and happiness find you my friend ❤️🕹🕹
@@pinkheartgamers5007 Going through a bout with depression right now but I'm trying to hang in there.
@@TokyoBloodWolf I'm here for man, I've been in deep dark shit about a year ago. Your never alone.👍
@@TokyoBloodWolf in some ways yes. But what matters most right now is to take each day at a time. It may take weeks or months but it's always dark before the sunrise 🌄.
Tatsunoko vs capcom is the most underrated capcom crossover
And shockingly one of the few capcom crossovers exclusively for Nintendo.
@@mysticmind4563 all because Ono thought it would push Wiis
silly Ono, Nintendo owners don't play fighting games, they only play Smosh 😒
imo one of the most underrated games ever. I was shocked to know most of my gamer friends have never played it before.
@@michellelincoln9987 well, also because it was pretty much built on a Wii base in the arcades
This song is so warm and comforting. It makes me feel happy that I'm still alive and kicking.
Who you tell, I was just in a major bad mood and then as soon as I listened to this, the biggest smile came on my face.. This song is very nostalgic for me, it reminds me of all the times me and my siblings used to play the game together on the Wii. I truly needed this ❤
"why your not skipping the intro"
BECAUSE THIS SHIT IS FIRE BRO!
This game was part of my childhood. Anyone else here play it as a kid?
I wish this song was in Smash Ultimate.
spectrumbots42 I can't remember what song it is, but I played the arcade version of this game, and I swear I heard a song that's also in Smash.
Mario & Sonic Meets Tatsunoko Generation of Superheroes
@@duckeggcarbonara He doesn't originate from video games, so they'd never put him in.
THIS SONG AGED SO WELL OMG!!! TIMELESS
The guy who raps did the voice clips for Godot in the English version of Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations.
+Tom de Kler Oh great, now I can't imagine this song without imagining Mia Fey and Godot singing this in a courtroom! (Hint Hint, animators!)
Apparently, Diego Armando had some singing talent before he went into law.
2023 and still jammin!!! One of the best and most underrated games ever!!
Japanise version: Best intro
Worldwide version: Best music
What if.........japanese intro with international song
japanese best intro but weird song
international best song but weird intro

This theme song is still catchy after almost 10 years. I remember wanting to play this when I heard about it in a Nintendo Power magazine although I had no idea who the Tatsunoko characters were at the time. I found it odd that my dad had some familiarity with Ken the Eagle prior to hearing about this game dispite not being into anime or western cartoons.
This song makes me really Happy 🤗 😁
The virgin Marvel Vs Capcom 4
The chad Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2
Bro no one talks about this. When it comes to vs games, people only bring up MvC or Capcom vs SNK.
Thank you for caring enough about this game to upload this in high quality.
+JMarsella9 Hey I know it's been a year since this comment. I'll always attempt to have my videos be of good quality. At least tracks like these. It would be an insult to the composers and musicians to upload their art in bad quality, thanks for listening!
This is the sexyest shit that never got the mainstream love it deserved! One of the baddest fighters you will Ever See!
This is Mario meets Sonic and Tatsunoko shit that never got
Nintendo, Sega & Tatsunoko The Ultimate of Fighter
Fighter of Superheroes Mario meets Sonic and Tatsunoko
This song makes me wanna give random compliments to people just to put a smile on their face!
Times were so fucking simple back then when this game was fresh.
The hypest shit
As a kid before I got into actual Marvel Vs Capcom
This was my Marvel Vs Capcom and man do I miss this game
Seeing this video I think: The 70's (Tatsunoko) vs 90's (Capcom); face in combat. Who will emerge victorious?... Past or Future ????
_A rematch!?!_
_HURRICAAAAANE!!!_
I legit just nostalgia-cried from the purity of this song and the sheer miracle that this game even came to the west. I still remember preordering it and picking it up when it came out, and that was before I focused on fighting games in the way that I do today--in fact, it's essentially a large part of why I became as interested in them as I am now. People don't know how big of a gem they're sleeping on with this one. This game had the perfect aesthetic for what it was trying to be, and it's very clear that so much love was put into this game...I have SOOO many memories of going through the arcade ladder with every single character, competing against my dad in matches time and time again, fighting my friends in local matches and then getting trashed online...I don't have the game anymore, but I'm hoping to pick up a new copy soon before they get crazy expensive. I know how impossible it is because both demand and rights issues, but this is the one fighter I WISH Capcom would either port to newer hardware or make a sequel to!!
I never played this game, but I have fond memories of this song. Still a certified hood classic for gamers everywhere in my opinion
2019, and this song is still fantastic!
I like this song better than japanese version! raither than I think it might the best I ever heard
I cannot stop listening to it
I Damn Near Cried Haven’t Heard This Song Since I Was 12 I’m 19 Now 😭
Dammit Strider would've been such a good fit for this game
@@firefistace7599 Dante, Vergil, Megaman.Exe, Bass, and Jon Talbain would be awesome to have.
Omg, for some reason now I hope there will be another new Capcom crossover game, but instead of TVC2, or MVC4, I want all the franchises that have crossover with Capcom (especially those with the word "VS" in the main title) to do a big crossover and bring back all the rosters. Imagine Marvel Vs Tatsunoko Vs SNK Vs Capcom (or whatever the title will be). It sounds impossible, but this is just my wishful thinking.
Lyrics (Copied from Gamefaqs)
You can push yourself to the limit be strong now jump with me
You can fly over a rainbow with me close your eyes and just believe
Nothing's gonna stop you and ME from gettIN'
To where we wanna be while this BEAT is kicKIN'
You know that you're my KINdred spiRIT
Fly with ME JC and push it to the limit
You used to hide behind another face
At first I didn't understand
But then I saw in you a kindred spirit
I called your name and held out my hand
Then you looked in my eyes and I said,
Never let anything get in your way of saving that you love
No matter what they say you can be strong, have faith within your heart
You can push yourself to the limit be strong now jump with me
You can fly over a rainbow with me close your eyes and just believe
I got you when the goin' gets ROUGH-YO
Nobody's as TOUGH this LOVE
You mey FEEL like YOU can't GO-ON
If we TRY, side by SIDE, we'll surVIVE, never DIE
NOW I got you FEELIN' my flow,
Know what I MEAN?
No DOUBT that you FEEL it like I do
Don't let a CHANCE like THIS pass BY you
A combo like you and ME, meant to be
Let's fly across the border
You can push yourself to the limit be strong now
The perfect combo you and ME, can't you SEE,
Come on, let's fly across the border
You can fly over a rainbow with me close your eyes
The perfect combo you and ME, baBY
Come on, let's fly across the border
If we TRY, side by SIDE, we'll surVIVE, never DIE
Let's fly across the border.
Still awesome to listen to. I miss this game.
No doubt my all time favorite Wii game ever! Still have the song with me whenever I play TvC again and again. 😎👍
Damn, a sequel for this game would be awesome. Preferably on the Switch tho.
That Bloo Guy technically the sequels are marvel vs capcom 3 and that series
Honestly, I’d be happy with just a re-release. The fact that this game even happened in North America was a miracle so just to see it again on any modern console would make me a very happy man.
@@aceg.rookie I agree
even though a sequel would be cool, I would be fine with a re-release of the game
Heard it was really rough to even make a game with Tasu because them because of rights.

2021 in the middle of a pandemic
Esse jogo marcou minha infância! Essa música é sensacional🔥
Really wished the arcade machines had more features such as this lovely tune.
Wish this game is on Switch, but that’s going to be a licensing nightmare for Capcom.
i remember playing this song at s school dance i was killing it
Yes, this is the best intro song for any Wii game in my opinion.
This game was so much fun
Straight early-mid 2000 anime vibes since a kid playing this
1:28 Zero comes out
I just remembered this game when I was a kid! Man I was remembering playing some big Mecha in some fighting game
Played this game for the first time last night with two of my friends and had an absolute blast. The music is amazing.
Across The Border
I remember playing this game. It was awesome. I also love this theme.
In my opinion. The Japanese version has a better opening but the English version has a better opening theme song.
Still, I miss playing this game, I had a great time playing it on my Wii as a kid. I always main as Ryu, Frank West, Zero, Batsu, and Roll.
I prefer the Japanese techno/dnb version of Across The Border. This version is too mellow and pop/jazzy for my taste.
@@jun4466 I'd agree if it weren't for the JP's version horrendous mixing... It makes the song too horrendous to listen to.
@@NekoinaBox2000 Yeesss the mixing of the jp version is just too much XD I also find the melody to fit better with the pop jazz feel since it is pretty mellow and sweet. Kinda crashes with the hard techno on the japanese version.
This rendition is channelling so much MVC2 vibes.
Dang, Godot is going off in this one.
(Yes, the voice in rap part is the same as Godot's in Ace Attorney)
Love this song love that game
Whenever i listen to persona 4 music it reminds me of this song :P
I was just gonna say how this music reminded me of persona, beat by 7 years haha
It sounds exactly like a Persona opening by Shoji Meguro, and I mean it in the best way possible.
Welp... better than japanese ver.
jerrytofolo i agree, but be careful, the weebs might try to assassinate you for saying that lmao
jerrytofolo i love anime but i agree the english is better than the japanese version
In my opinion:
The Japanese version has a better opening but the English Version has a better opening theme song.
It's good but I kinda don't like the guy singing along that's just me though
Wow epic tune! Damn this beat and lyrics are hittin'! This playlist is an INSTANT SAVE! Thanks for uploading man.
before I played this game I haven't even heard of tatsunoko before
You most likely watched some of their shows and didn't even know it was them, like Speed racer.
We need a sequel to this crossover now. Come on, Capcom what are you waiting for?!
I love this song💙
childhood right here
Awesome Upbeat! inspiring
it's crazy how much better this version is lmfao
IVE NOT HEARD THIS SINCE I PLAYED IT IN LIKE 2016 OR SOMETHING OMG THE NOSTALGIAAA🥲💞
this is my favorite version of the opening
The fact that this game was released in the early to mid years of the Wiis life and was an exclusive is a huge flex compared to Ultra Street Fighter 2 that was an exclusive on Switch and the hardware was more superior than the Wii
Listening to this uplifting song before bed 😊❤️
This game was the shit back in the day. My brother, cousins and I used to play this game like crazy. Good ass times man
This is great!
Damn this brings me back. ^_^
I love this game and song
im about to go hook up my wii right now cuz this just broughy back so many memories not just 4 the game but i grew up on capcom games and tatsunoko anime and this game is like my childhood clashing

This song is a BOP!!!
2020 anyone?
It's very weird that they had basically no localization budget but they managed to do an English version of the title song

Such an awesome game
This sounds like the compositional work of FreeTEMPO. God I miss him

Second best fighting game opening behind Super Smash Bros Brawl.
for some reason this sounds like something out of a persona game!
i remember playing tatsunoko vs capcom when i was a kid
Curious fact: the rap sections of this song are made by James C. Wilson, a communications coordinator for Capcom who is the voice actor for Ace Attorney's Godot
Yep. Kinda makes me think that Mia and Diego/Godot are signing this at a karaoke bar or something though Diego may be free styling at times.
Cool, right ?
and the one who did the lyrics for the training stage that is only available in the japanese version for some reason
And Robin in ZX Advent.
