I went to high school in Fairbanks from 1948 to '51, AD, lol. I served 4 yrs in the Navy, and then I was home. On January 2 '56, I went to work on a surveyors team that surveyed and laid out a number of the 20 or 21 ""Nike-Anti-Missile, Missile Sites"" that were SUPPOSE to intercept any incoming missiles from "Las Vegas," or Russia. It paid a zillion dollars a week, well, it seemed like that much when compared to the guys "down in the States." There was nothing out in the that wild country other than Moose, bears, caribou, and all kinds of little things running full blast. If you didn't get the crap scared out of you, at least once a week, you weren't paying attention, lol.
Those that never visited Alaska, do yourself a favor and go see it. The pictures and videos we see on social media don’t do it justice. The beauty is almost overwhelming
If Alaska was more temperate 2MY ago then why are you depicting them trudging through snow?
