Driving to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park from Anchorage. I heard and read a lot of horror stories about the gravel road to McCarthy. Turns out the road was perfectly fine, anyone could drive on it. I learned that not too long ago the road was littered with lots of the old railway tracks and it would cause a lot of flat tires along the road. That wasn't the case this time around and I think anyone could make it down the road without much issue!

AWESOME! When we went to McCarthy in 1994, we crossed that river on a pulley cart with our cameras & luggage. The Kinnecott mine was great to see. I ma astonished at how much the mountains have lost their glaciers.....sad....
Wrangell - St. Elias National Park is not a tourist trap. Enjoy the views & wildlife. Awesome videos. Keep up the good work.

"Side of the roode" ... whoops, someone spent too much time in Canada, eh? Beautiful scenery! Love how you're slowly getting into more and more rural and wild places.

Alex it’s great to have you back. WOW, the weather’s really changeable, resembles WA/OR but that shot of the mountain reflected in the lake, “outstanding” 😁
    Stay safe
