The no background look was a pretty shockingly nice change. I think you hit the nail on the head regarding reflections being the cause.

I was shocked too. I knew it would look better but didn't expect such a drastic difference. I'm very pleased 😊 thanks for watching

Thank you! I realized the light reflecting on the background was what made it look closed off. Maybe I had the wrong kind that was too white.

I love your tank and I love watching the maintenance. There aren’t that many channels that show everything and I think it’s really helpful. I kept low tech tanks for a few years and now that I’m retired. I finally got into high tech tanks. I am loving the CO2 injection. I have a couple of questions for you. I’m having difficulty getting the CO2 to travel all the way to the other end of my 20 long. Any tips? Also, I’m wondering why you cut all of those leaves off that sword plant at the back? Was it more overgrown than it looked in the video? It looked totally fine and I can understand trimming a few of the older leaves, but you trimmed a lot! Just trying to learn here… Thank you so much for your videos and I hope you can answer this post. 😊💖

      Thank you so much 😊
I was having issues with the Co2 in my 20g long also, an "inline atomizer" took care of it and now I only use those. I have a video of that also lol. Do you have external filter or HOB?
I trim so much of the Amazon Sword because it was worse in person than the video. Most of the leaves were on top of the water folded over and all the edges were getting damaged. Also I love the middle stage before they hit the surface which will be in a week or 2. Then I let it continue to get "overgrown" for a couple weeks before chopping it all down to start over again. Hope that helps 😁
