Yoshida is so under rated almost forgotten about. For months I've been obsessing over the clips he posts on his Instagram. Him and Jacare were my favorite to watch when I started.

Yeah bro, my dad used to train at grappling unlimited with baret yoshida, Insen Inoue, and Igan inoue. My dad said the first person to ever tap him out was barret yoshida. He was a beast back then.

I love, love, LOVE how this art is so damn deep, and you can get your mind blown often. I've been getting to crucifix and chest wraps more often and wasn't sure what could be done. I also love the d'arce. Officer Grimey just connected so many dots with this one video. This was a lot of fun to watch. Now I gotta try out these concepts in training!

For the reverse half, why are you not locking your hands together? I've been doing that and it's great control also BUT I imagine it might be illegal in most tournaments. Is that the reason? Because it's essentially like a reverse full nelson, even if you don't really crank on their neck.
Thanks so much for sharing by the way. Cool to see this with Jay Rod asking questions too.

Man i've been trying to start incorporating this, but when i pull them over and hit that kind T ish position, most of the time they just drive their weight back which starts fucking my grips and then they turn inwards (similar to a drive back when you're on their back (and you're on your back)). Super annoying. Will keep working....
