- Hello everyone, this video is all about the Chanel Caviar leather. I often hear people asking questions about the Chanel Caviar leather but there's not a lot of information on it that I can find. So I thought I'd make this video for you, hopefully you will find it helpful if you are thinking of adding the Chanel Classic Flap to your collection.
The Classic Flap mainly comes in either the Lambskin or the Caviar. Most people prefer the Caviar for its durability. However, not all caviar is as durable as we think. In this video, I showed you 3 Chanel Classic Flaps which are in the 3 most popular types of Caviar (Rigid Caviar, Matte Caviar and Soft Caviar), and talked about the pros and cons of each of them in details, I also briefly touched on a few other types that are relatively less durable, hope you will find this video informative.

they only retain value if they’re sold while still in new condition, if used often they won’t sell. So many vintage pieces for sale don’t sell bcos they’re more than 20 years old.
I don’t mean to offend or too negative, as I really liked your video, great to view several types of caviar for comparison.
I agree that everyone wants as new conditions, that’s why I think caviar is a great choice, it really doesn’t show signs of wear and tear after 4 or 5 years 😃

Yeah, the price increase has been crazy, I haven’t bought much from them in the last few years. But I still think the classic flap and the 2.55 are worth buying though, Chanel bags are completely different from Hermès, they are more girly I think. Maybe we can find something reasonably priced from the pre loved market?😘🤗
Thanks for sharing Cindy. I bought the beige Claire CF recently and it was like matte finishing which was different from the caviar I owned from previous collections. I thought I had gotten the replica bag. It seem like beige Claire bag are mostly made in matte caviar. I have 2 series 19 CF and I love the caviar and the puffiness.
Hi Vivian, yeah it seems like the beige Clare do come in the matte caviar 😁 I also prefer the more puffy type of caviar, it looks more luxurious and takes longer to deflate😊

Haha, I’m the same😃 but I honestly believe that expensive skincare products don’t necessarily deliver what they promise. I started using the sheet masks once a week more then 10 years ago, and my skin has become so much better as I get older 😊

I love your video, just got a preloved soft caviar and was wondering the absence of stitching at the end of the flap and thought that they gave me a fake or an unfinish bag 🙈🙊 i know i know 🤣🤣😅😅😅😅

Cindy, Wonderful video but the leather is not "literally" indestructible. If I put it in my Vitamix blender with some water, it would turn to liquid.
